Well, to be clear, I think it means we can only use one revive in our inventory when raids begins. And then you can claim the usual 7 for one goals each and seven more halfway through the week.

So it’s not great, but we will still have access to 15 revives to cover our raids run. We just can’t go into day one with 7 in inventory, then immediately buy seven more and seven more a few days later.

Two things would be good:
- no damage cap
- single run grants up to max charges

Otherwise the revives are just used to build charges and then do runs of Max damage. Needing to revive shouldn't be a thing.

It’s this. I’ve had functionally 21 revives every raid cycle because I come out of the previous week with a full stash of 7. The only real difference this made for me is that I got to get through it faster, since I was still only using 14 anyway. But I could see some people using the carryover as a crutch to push through when they otherwise wouldn’t have been able.

Wait, I don’t understand why people are freaking out about this. You could only have 21 in your inventory if you saved 7 from the previous week. If you saved 7, that means you could have only used 14 or fewer. If you were using 14 or fewer, then this change does not impact your ability to complete the content.

Am I missing something here? Why are y’all so mad about this? From what I can see, this is a purely superficial change that doesn’t actually impact gameplay (except for timing of when you get your revives).

Enjoyed? Hardly anyone. Boring, entry is overpriced while rewards are meh. In addition to this revive change I would also take out the remaining somewhat useful attackers, just because why not.

What do you mean? I finish the content in 14 revives. I have nothing further to spend them on, so they sit in my inventory until the next week. My battle group pretty much always finishes the Raid before the store reset to grab more revives, so I end up just grabbing them because I know I’ll need them in the next raid anyway.

That cant be it. There is a limit as well as only 1 day until they expire in stash, people can't really hold on them

It is literally already in the game, dude. Just use the filters on the champions screen and you can see them.

Because if you are an active group you could have had Raids done before Friday, enjoyed a half a week off from AQ and not had to even think about this game mode on the weekend. This change effectively kills all that and is a massive QoL L for no explicit purpose other than trying to force us to care about AQ on the weekends. Something a lot of alliances are purposely constructed to avoid now with 4 day AQ.

Self inflicted dumbshot L. I hope they reconsider as the only 2 things about raids are reduced AQ week and better rewards…

Now we get one of those things.

Now this is an explanation I understand. I wonder if Kabam would ever entertain the idea of just making all 14 revives available up front? That would fix the damage that this change does while still accomplishing the goal of lowering the available number of revives.

Unfortunately, I think the point of this change is specifically to make people log back in and play. More time in game is a metric I’m sure they pursue. But I agree, I’ve been wrapping up Raids by like Wednesday and it’s been great.

This precisely if they do this it solves the issue, it's not like anyone wants or needs more than 14 revives, just make them all available at the start of the week.
