I’m not even going to go into my thoughts on this new “feature”, I’ve don’t that in the official thread. But having this pop up as the first thing in the crystals tab is disgusting greedy work.

Please move this somewhere else so I never have to look at it again.

    So I've seen this Luke offer probably 100 times by now, and have gone from "this bad offer is annoying" to "why the hell not, should I just buy it?"
    That's how advertising works on a subconscious level. Another W for the marketing geniuses at Kabam.

    Right, I get that, and I would never buy it myself.
    I'm just saying, this is how advertising works sometimes.
    It's not always meant to be compelling in a rational sense.
    Sometimes the entire point is just to beat you over the head with it.
    A basic familiarity with marketing (even a 101 college course) should have made my point obvious to anyone.

    At its base level, it's designed to appeal to SOMEBODY. The Crystals entered my thought process as well, but I'm not that set on Cage. Just because it's enticing to people doesn't mean they're mindless drones.

    this is a game-changer for crystals so it's reasonable they have it front and center, especially since they're testing it out.

    i'm not spending on it either but it's fair game that they do this.

    The first time this thing pop up I accidentally bought a crystal
    My hand keeps on going to that 300 units button
    Good design kabam from draining my untis
    I wish it ask for conformation before I waste my units on it

    People are so resistant to any changes to the UI in this game it's hilarious in all honesty. Everytime kabam makes a change there's threads with people losing their 💩 over it. Threatening to quit over a menu change? Come on now.

    Are you this melodramatic in real life? Do you demand to see the manager if your local store rearranges the aisles?

    As with all changes you'll be used to it in a couple of weeks anyway

    They are advertising a new crystal type: it is entirely reasonable for them to give it prominent placement in the crystal vault. There's nothing "greedy" about doing that, and frankly for a game that has zero advertisements for outside products and services calling this "greedy" is just ridiculous.

    If you don't ever want to see that again, I can only think of one remedy for that particular problem, and it is not going to be due to a modification of the game client.
    If a player wanted to know what was in the other tab in the crystal vault they would click on that tab it’s common sense really, they haven’t added a tab to the crystal vault in years it would immediately catch eyes. You don't have to be thrown onto this screen where you can easily buy crystals by accident,
    And are you suggesting they should stop playing the game vs Kabam just moving the tab over 1

    This new tab feels like they aren't selling the pity system feature in a crystal but THIS specific crystal as a pity system.

    We know you don't like valiant crystals now after opening do many but how about a new upgrade valiant crystal.

    I'd rather see the feature on daily or even 4 hour crystals than this
