1. if you make an i-quit post, 90% of the time you're gonna continue to play 2. if you make a post threatening a spending boycott, 90% of the time you're gonna continue spending
@SlayerOfGods A bunch of toxic derailment going on in this thread that was meant to be about a serious issue with someone's decision to leave the game. Why are you not trying to police it?
Sorry buddy, I'm not an elite 24/7 forum warrior like you. Perhaps one day I'll reach your status.
But he’s the current game design is meant to inspire touching grass guy… not sure when he’s off the forums to actually do it though…
Ah, a personal attack, and not even in direct response to me but a side shot. Anyway, I hope you can find a resolution to your issues with the "current game design." Playing a mobile game that you have such strong complaints about must be mentally fatiguing, so no offense taken at your lashing out at a random stranger like me.
Any criticism of GroundedWisdom keeps disappearing—interesting. It’s hard not to see how his presence is doing more harm than good, pushing players away rather than bringing them together. Meanwhile, Kabam seems fully committed to driving this game into the ground.

People are responsible for what they post. I'm no different than anyone else. There's a way to communicate things, and a way that just begets more negativity.
No one cares if you leave or not. Everyone writes about it here every time, and now why should we cry for you? When you leave, leave. Yes, the game is broken, yes, it's **** broken and sagging in many of its areas, one of which is rewards. I've thrown it myself more than once, but it still beckons and beckons, over and over again, because despite all its many problems, it's beautiful. It is even unique, as it has already been closed hundreds of times, and the MCOC is still alive. And this new March update, despite the endless bugs, inspired me to play again, because both Phoenix and Bastion look delicious to my visual perception and desire to play!
I think the three pages full of replies actually means some do care, including you lol
To be fair, two pages are [blank] and [blank] going back and forth
While two pages are just GW vs The Forums it still doesn't change the fact some do care about the rewards situation. Matter of fact the post has 87 likes which if you've been here long enough you'd know never happens on posts where people are announcing they're leaving, they usually just get trolled and everyone moves on lol

And those votes are telling. This isn't an ambiguous issue. The forum is saying almost unanimously: "Every month it gets worse. Every month our complaints are ignored and instead some new changes are instituted that make the game even worse for us." Basically: today is worse than yesterday, but better than tomorrow. And yet Kabam revenue only keeps increasing. And yet the changes keep doubling and tripling down on that successful business model that alienates the forum.
What would a reasonable person conclude at this point? To accept reality and move on to something they actually enjoy? Or keep screaming into the void over a mobile game?

It feels like end of the line for this game. Which is fine given how long it’s been going on. For years I have spend a lot of time (n money 😜) here and tbh had a really great time. Met a bunch of great people (alliance activities were the superglue for the game imho). It’s a shame every update seems to break the game in new and innovative ways. 😂 but it’s ok. I am sure the team has been trying their best to fix it. May b it’s just too broken to be fixed completely. Most of my friends have left the game. I m gonna hang around semi retired till the last of them leave and then it will be adios from my end. Would like to thank the participants in this forum. Had a bunch of testy exchanges with some, saw some really rational, some very passionate viewpoints. U guys r great and in my opinion super critical for the game.

I don't care who talks to Kabam. My issue is the same as it's been at the start of this Thread. All the dramatics aren't helping people be heard. The game isn't dead. They shouldn't just stop doing Livestreams because they didn't address Rewards. No one is scoffing at Players by selling things. All the claims about the game dying and Kabam not caring are just not helping. Moreover, all they're doing is filling the Forum with unnecessary negativity. No matter who decides to quit, the Rewards aren't going to be increased until they see fit. We can argue blue in the face, but that's just the way of it. Are they overdue? Perhaps. That's not our call though. It's not our production. What I'm trying to point out, whether people like it or not, is demanding Rewards isn't how things get changed. They get changed when they need to be, when Kabam gets to it. There's a huge difference between a Thread discussing the need for Rewards to be revised, and a Thread outlining that someone is quitting because they weren't increased and Kabam didn't say anything and sales and issues and.....dot dot dot. It's not helping anyone's cause. They're not going to add Rewards before the time is right because someone quits. They'll do it when they do it. On a side note, it hocks me off when people negate their entire Livestream just because they didn't talk about Rewards, and they're announcing a couple things you need to pay for. There's work that goes into these things. They deserve more respect than that.

You literally just said a couple comments ago you understood why people were complaining, now you go back to your original stance after I explained to you people who are passionate about this game and aren't just playing it casually will continue to complain because they are more invested in it than you are, and you have absolutely no right to tell people if they should be this invested or not because you're you and they're them.
You're starting to sound a lot like GW and a certain knight with a Silver Centurion pfp, trust me you do not want to be associated with either of them lol just stop and let people discuss whatever they wanna discuss, that's the great thing about the forums you can just keep scrolling if you don't like it. You're obviously not even arguing against the main point of the post which is rewards and p2w so arguing about people complaining or not complaining is pointless, GW has been fighting so people stop complaining about literally anything since 2019 and here we are six years later, it's pointless.
A f2p quit... well, not much attention then I still miss Cowhale, he opened a huge amount of deal crystals with thousands of dollars spent
Not trying to derail the thread but 75% of those crystals came from money he scammed out of people's wallets as a dentist or whatever, just saying lol.
I quit playing MCOC several years ago because I both needed to focus on more important life goals (grad school, relationship) and because the pressures of needing to constantly improve my roster became far more stressful than any game had any right to impose on me.
I just recently redownloaded it again and am starting from scratch. I am enjoying the journey on my own terms and will not get sucked into the game's monetization schemes or its never-ending stress of keeping up with the joneses.
The moment the game starts playing me instead of me playing the game, I am going to click that delete button and never look back, just like I didn't look back years ago and got so much accomplished in my life.
Everyone is entitled to their own experiences and feelings and no one can tell another person you can't feel that way.
For me it is all about being happy and fulfilled with how you spend your time and achieving the goals you set out to achieve.
Maybe maybe, If Kebem is refusing to buff rewards and thinks that it's okay, Then I don't see problem in playerbase refusing to stop asking for buff rewards every other day.

They're getting paid for their work, they're getting money for their work, this Banquet was historic spending ever and that's great. Stop acting like their hard work is for nothing.

"getting their hands on Kebem"?? Are you literally threatening physical violence on Kabam employees at this point? Have you lost your mind??
It's a little unfair to Kabam that players judge mcoc based on mcoc alone
I mean the entire game industry is like this right now
Based on my experience playing multiple games, mcoc fare fairly well in the industry in terms of friendliness to non spending players
There are worse games out there that is impossible to progress without spending
Find me another game that satisfy all your demands that mcoc failed to do so and let me know so I can try it out
The only game in existence that I know that isn't pay to win is League of Legends bcos they only sell skins for money, champions can also be bought with money or in game currency that can be grinded by playing and it's the fairest game out there that judge players based on their playing skills rather than their wallet size
There are games out there that without paying, you are stuck in a light or medium tank while paying players are using heavy tanks and you get killed with 1 shot in the battlefield when hit by a heavy tank
That's the reality in games out there
In mcoc we have battlegrounds but that is optional for players
I have a full deck of 7* rank 3 and 6* rank 5 ascended and I get matched against whales with a full deck of 7* rank 3 and a few rank 4
I fully enjoy playing against whales bcos I get to challenge my skills and improve on them by playing more
Kabam has done a lot by ensuring 7* rank 4 do not flood the battlegrounds to the point that even low spending celestial players get outclassed by whales
I believe these issues go beyond Kabam employees. That doesn’t mean they’re blameless, but I feel there’s more at play here. I think the company, Netmarble and thus top management, has probably set unrealistic expectations for them.
We live in a time where corporations prioritize profits over customer experience, often without concern for the cost to consumers. It’s business, and making a profit is understandable. If a more profitable opportunity arises, they’ll take it, often at the expense of players. We have ongoing issues like intercept inconsistencies, erratic AI, etc along with what players want or need from the team. Yet, there’s been no acknowledgment, let alone the team thoughts on it. And this is where Kabam is really terrible, communication.
If there’s truth to this, then it’s wise to think twice before spending. At the very least, that’s the control you have over the game and its management. If you’re getting frustrated and stress over the game, then, quitting is probably the right thing to do. The last thing you need is for a mobile game to add to your stress on top of everything else in life.
It’s a mobile game. It’s not something you “have” to do. It’s a fun getaway from other real life stuff like any other video game.
That's what I thought, especially when kabam had that epiphany, telling us "you don't have to do all content" around the launch of deathless champs. Now I'm sat Deathless Thanos-less also contemplating finding a new game

I'm not the one acting like their hard work is for nothing. That was the point of what I said. Just because they get paid to do their job doesn't mean we can take a dookie on it.
Look, the reality is this...This is not a sudden change of game philosophy by Kabam. They have been slowly emboldened over the years to push this type of economic philosophy without really any significant push back because at the end of the day, at each moment of cost increase to the player, we keep logging on and most importantly, we keep purchasing. The only real complaint you can file is not on this forum but with financial abstinence. If you stop purchasing, you will get what you want, the only problem is, are you willing to sit out on that double track with all though rewards for $20? Are you willing to not buy that offer to finally get Valiant or that Odin or even just a Parker to beat that boss and get your first R4? History shows...as well as that livestream that no...the community is not willing to pass on those offers (myself included). So, always sad to see a player go, but this is just the way things are right now. Fortunately/unfortunately, MCoC offers an almost perfect system for a fighting game on mobile (obviously not bug-less, I mean the idea of MCoC, in a perfect world without bugs is basically a perfect mobile video game, i.e. The idea of swiping for mediums, tapping for basics, holding for heavies, the idea of dexing, parrying, etc, its kind of perfect for what it is.), so for now, unless something comes out that's better, this is what we have to deal with.
