It’s astonishing how we as an mcoc community have went from bringing champs like quicksilver and Hercules into the game to becoming the community that is about to cost us another powerful champion who has 1) Better Synergy potential, 2) Better Hair, 3) Better Powers, 4) Better chance of a good buff, 5) Better healing (ironically) and 6) Better serpent Counter, 7) Better defensive potential, 8)Better survivability, 9) Better power control, 10) Better Buff Control. Let me remind you that yes with all the sinisters and the juggernauts, Kabam has seen streaks of fumbling buffs. Do I need to remind you how Kabam still needed to fix 4 champions that were released in 2024? We are yet to see what they do to deathless vision as well. For every nightcrawler and storm, there is a moon night, a Kamala Khan and a Thor (Jane foster) to take their place. You are probably wondering, why am I mentioning old forgotten champions? They were champions who were buffed between 2018-2020, the reason you can’t believe that is because guess what, mid in comics = higher chance to fumble. We still don’t even know how good cyclops is going to be yet, and with the release of phoenix’ buff the choice is so clear, she had the highest potential for a great buff, the strongest powers, and Kabam delivered, making a champ who easily takes Hercules place. Don’t you see a pattern? Kabam gives the cannonically strong characters powerful buffs and powerful releases I mean look at bastion and Jean Grey. And if you want to go on the topic of “what if they nerf rogue” take a look at what they did to sinister, they gave him permanent healing. X-23 doesn’t have some potential with maybe a pursuit passive, and damage with bleeds but think for a minute, bullseye is becoming less and less of a threat, so if anything the buff would go more to defense and potentially make her a carbon copy of Weapon Flex. A lot of you guys voting actually want to use the characters for yourself so if you vote x-23 over rogue, you possibly won’t get to see her that much offensively. Bleed is punished or flat out ignored by a myriad of champions and that can easily shut her off. The fact of the matter is after the rewards buff, war is becoming more and more prominent in the game and rogue has proven time and time again how much of a joke she makes of war, necropolis, and general questing. X-23 is way to risky of a buff and has way less utility and power compared to rogue, compared to a fully built Morningstar (without the buff), compared to proxima, compared to squirrel girl. These champions have powerful abilities (outside of healing and bleed by chance) such as proxima’s special 3 and AAR reduction on block, morningstar’s access to healing and heavy buff punish, and squirrel girls ability to counter evade and autoblock without issue. It’s not fair that Kabam is giving us a FREE champion who can have substantial impact in various questing modes and battlegrounds fights against the attumas and korgs we find way to often. We need a mutant champion who actually acts as if they’re a mutant and counters the skills class’ many abilities as well as many other classes (Cosmic being a big one). We even have the gambit relic that tremendously boosts rogues playstyle in game. The option must be very clear now. We came together as a community to petition serpent’s nerf, so why can’t we as a community come together to vote for someone who has proven to shut him, and many other powerful defenders down entirely? All those quests we did back in 2016-2018? We can’t deny we used rogue to handle the difficult fights back when the game was hard. Even when she was released, she did not have the abilities needed to compete with rogue and the vanilla Wolverine, colossus, and magneto we have in game. We need to stop and think about these facts going forward. Kabam has never “nerfed” a champion in their buff and they never will. All Kabam can do is release a champion limited to their canonical abilities. A buffed rogue is more likely to finish korgs and attumas at 100% health. A buffed rogue is more likely to ignore 30% of ALL dot damage and negative ailments inflicted by debuffs. A buffed rogue will help all of the veterans relive the nostalgia of smashing through mcoc’s content. A buffed rogue isn’t competing with certain champions who have stronger, safer means of dot damage (Deadpool x force, Mr sinister, Weapon Flex). A buffed rogue will save our units from KABAM’s everlasting greed, a buffed rogue will stop us from eating special 3’s from serpent, a buffed rogue will save the contest. Let’s help our favorite mutant cowgirl win this race before it gets taken to the swing states.

All she needs is non contact attacks (please kabam ive said this so many times on the forums publicly and even privately to a few of you. Just do it 😭)
Maybe also a bit longer timers but really just non contact to open her matchips more

The way they made only rogue code available, People just entered it with no thoughts.

and no doubt people are saying "oh she'll get a rework anyway". but who knows. and why leave it to chance.
Her power steal will Obviously be nerfed
Obviously, she should be able to work against skill as a MUTANT SHOULD.
X23 is literally just bleeds and regen LIKE EVERY OTHER WOLVERINE.
Rogue has a unique kit that barely 3 other champs in the game have. Since squirrel is bottom 3, I really hope rogue pulls through cos X23 is top 3 the most boring champs to play (animation wise) from that IWD PoLL
x23 has great potential. She could inflict bleeds, crit bleeds, rupture if bleed immune. A mutant who actually has offensively useful regen like wolvie. Some great dot damage, and utilites to counter skill class champs.
But we can all agree that Squirrel girl has the best animations. (Jubilee is close)
