One note on Kushala - she gets the spell regardless of which party performs the interaction. So it's not like the game read you getting the intercept and then decided not to give it to you, but you got the spell because you were intercepted. This isn't a comment on how intercepting is objectively worse than it was, just on how Kushala specifically works.

Have you fought ares recently? He light intercept you a lot. I feel like XL champs are more likely to light intercept you compared to others, atleast that's what I usually experience.
I noticed that too, it's like the more they claim they fixed AI the smarter it gets OR they break something else.
Super burnt out personally, and have been seeing similar sentiments in my ally's officer chat. I've played pretty much nonstop since 2015. No one thing causing it and I'm a tiny spender, usually just the double track in August last several years, but I did give updated sigil a try for a month in January.
Game just doesn't feel very fresh and the thought of logging in for an hour and grinding EQ/arena/BGs etc just makes me feel tired. I'm doing AQ/AW for the ally and autofighting lower SQ here and there but that's it.

I did phases 1-4 in minimal revives but in phase 5 i noticed he either holds block or counters your intercept. Very little in between..and yet his AI is actually not that bad when you compare him to the AI of grandmaster in phase 3. I ended up saying phuck it and did that phase using RC immune champs from how BS the AI was. The fact they just ignore the AI issues altogether is the really unsettling part

She makes a strong point though and if I have to be the ahole to say it in plain words so be it. We are unhappy with the game and people who havent even played the game shouldn't take a piggy back ride on our complaints to justify their short commings.
Personally I very much welcome the champion reworks, redesigns and buffs since with it being a well known IP, you want favourites to be good.
The issues I tend to have are usually not giving a single care for new champs coming in and the RNG system to obtain champs with the playable content and in game stores not having items I care for.
All in all it is just growing pains right now and more stores like Gwenpool's Bubble Bauble from a few years back would help make the game feel on the ball than something that just stagnates often, something I personally find myself at constantly

Despite having an active community that wants to see the game succeed, the consistent complacency in selling a broken product over and over and over again is really starting to destroy not only good will but addictive drive. Buying a cool new car sounds fun until you take it onto a road covered in broken glass, nails and potholes.
The BGs situation feels like a classic case of bias, where in a silent protest the team decided the mode was better off dead, and is trying to kill it through neglect and degrading it with terms like “BGs brain rot” being leveled at those who enjoyed that mode.
While conversely AW, a mode many of the Kabam staff are invested in receives steady care, awards updates and promotion to the point where there’s a solo quest inspired by it now.

Appreciate you dropping in. Honestly it’d be nice to not feel largely ignored. To have at least an acknowledgement of bugs in a more visible way. It’s really sad something like medium intercepts being broken has lasted since November with minimal acknowledgement and communication. A gameplay bug that consequential feeling like it’s been brushed under the rug is a really bad look. Same with super speed defenders that can move in between frames

yes, some rewards are horrible and i'm saying to voice your concerns but to also wait. kabam is NOT stupid and the inconvenience is only temporary. nobody's left the cult in 10 years and it's not happening any time soon so all the "and it's for realsies this time, kabam!" threats are meaningless.

It’s just tiring how outdated everything is. Too little too late for valiant EQ, battlegrounds abandoned, AQ sucks, AW sucks. I did like the endgame content stuff but it feels pretty dry rn
-EQ is being buffed, it's not too late -AQ has been buffed with RAIDS and trust me, you don't want map 8 to get "fun and interactive" (the less reading and nonsense the better, you don't want 15 "fun" fights a day like the launch of map 7. remember that?) -AW just got buffed and it has the best rewards right now -we had a year's worth EOP or whatever, the deathless SAGA, epoch, next week we're getting a new gauntlet, and next month or so we're getting 9.2
For the first time in the 6 years I have been playing Raid Shadow Legends (10+ years here) I think I might rather spend on Raid. That says a lot about the current state of MCOC.

On the community side there are always improvements to be made in communication and we'll be making adjustments as we move along. There are certain issues we deal with on our end that we can't give definitive answers on right away, but for sure can change our language a bit and update you more often even if we have nothing to additional to update with.
I know there's quite an affinity for the former community team, so if there were actions from them that you really liked and want to see emulated, please feel free to let us know and we'll try to get that implemented. We're a different team with different tactics and strategies but we'll do our best to oblige.
What would be amazing is an acknowledgement that bgs, aq, eq and sq are so outdated, and that you are implementing updated rewards very shortly (especially for bgs).
lol, maybe i'm only the degenerate in here but what's it matter if the rewards are temporarily stale? y'all aren't in this for the long haul?
if you play enough you'll get most of what you want in 12 months anyway, so who cares if something isn't as rewarding right now. everyone's getting the same bad rewards anyway right, so you're not falling behind and if we're being honest game rewards don't really even matter cause they're always overshadowed by the big sales anyway.
even if BGs rewards were buffed, you could spend the next year busting your ass and placing in celestial every season but some bozo who hasn't played for a year can just show up and buy all those rewards and more in one sale.

yes, some rewards are horrible and i'm saying to voice your concerns but to also wait. kabam is NOT stupid and the inconvenience is only temporary. nobody's left the cult in 10 years and it's not happening any time soon so all the "and it's for realsies this time, kabam!" threats are meaningless.
It’s not simply a rewards problem. There’s design neglect all over the contest. BGs once created more excitement in MCOC then I’d ever seen but they’ve left it in beta mode all these years later. Just think how much better this game mode would be if time and attention were given to it.
This mode made the community value defenders and interactions they ignored in the years prior to it.

Just to be clear I have no issues with whales or sales events, I have an issue with them focusing on these mostly and ignoring everything else that's outdated.
Game just doesn't feel very fresh and the thought of logging in for an hour and grinding EQ/arena/BGs etc just makes me feel tired. I'm doing AQ/AW for the ally and autofighting lower SQ here and there but that's it.
you can hit celestial every season and go through a lot of stress with war, especially the new map, and it means nothing because a big sale will nullify all that work. BG players got crumbs-worth of relic materials back in early 2023 then july came and any bozo could outpace their work after buying a few relic odins...and those spenders are getting screwed too (the bigger the spender the worse it is) because everything loses value fast anyway.

Personally I very much welcome the champion reworks, redesigns and buffs since with it being a well known IP, you want favourites to be good.
The issues I tend to have are usually not giving a single care for new champs coming in and the RNG system to obtain champs with the playable content and in game stores not having items I care for.
All in all it is just growing pains right now and more stores like Gwenpool's Bubble Bauble from a few years back would help make the game feel on the ball than something that just stagnates often, something I personally find myself at constantly
The BGs situation feels like a classic case of bias, where in a silent protest the team decided the mode was better off dead, and is trying to kill it through neglect and degrading it with terms like “BGs brain rot” being leveled at those who enjoyed that mode.
While conversely AW, a mode many of the Kabam staff are invested in receives steady care, awards updates and promotion to the point where there’s a solo quest inspired by it now.

Mcoc is great. Of course here ,there are Valiants crying over rewards.
But ,they dont understand that they already have all the things to R3 or even R4 their 7 stars.
And this is really enough for them to complete Quests, even Everest.
So ,why better rewards???
And Battlegrounds are the best mode now.

It's the lack of a chase. Before we had Deathless and Valiant, now there's nothing to reach for.
