Also the game has felt like it’s lacked direction and the team has been seriously out of touch with the player base. All the new stuff is cool and all but the increased monetization, the story lines and the lack of fun/new content (that isn’t rehashed) has been abysmal and/or tremendously grindy.
I understand overall this is more than just the new community team, but the game has changed since their (Mikke and Jax’s) departure or maybe that’s just the whole correlation/causation argument.
Way better without those two , the game was already bad before they left , Mike was just a lame person in general had no love for the community and Jax had no love at all for the game you could see the sarcasm in his face every time he would mention anything new coming to the game , we didn't lose anything, new team is way better most of the threads these days have no constructive arguments , so there's no reason for them tho waste time answering everyone, is all about rants and self promotion theses days .

To the OP: I think it’s fair to say that game direction/shifting correlating with the community team change over is more than just a coincidence.
Frankly I think we might have a different view of the past community managers if they had to explain/defend/or report back what the game team was doing in its current state. It’s clear what the community wants prioritized isn’t where the game team is focused at all. Good luck finding any representative who can bridge the current gap. I have started to accept “silence” or “lack of communication” as simply Kabam saying “the forum crowd is so far out of touch with what we are doing, we are better off just minimizing it as much as possible”
Ive probabaly interacted with the both of them more than most people via the dms due to my frequent jailings so feel somewhat comfortable saying that at the end of the day they both were really cool guys and were extremely passionate about the game, community, and their job but showed that in different ways. Them leaving after for alot of us eventually having them be synonymous with the game as a whole was a huge blow no doubt. They had a certain flair for engaging the community that hasn't been able to be recaptured since they were fired.
But that's not to slight the current community team as they are clearly passionate (and this is just my assumption based on real life job experience, probably hold more responsibilities than the previous team) they're doing their best

Are you able to cite any instances where what you're saying here is truthful and underserved? The only time they were ever "disrespectful" was when someone was blatantly breaking the forum rules, usually by being abusive and insulting people, like you. I'm sure you have no idea what constructive criticism actually is, but you shouldn't make that everyone else's problem. Miike and Jax certainly knew what it was and took it in stride.

I got used to it personally, the only thing that bothers me is that the game only holds with endgame content or offers for big spending, there are almost every month but it's a company so not shocking

I've spent more time interacting with Miike than Jax over the years, but I agree with this statement. He was extremely helpful and understanding to me over the years, especially when I had a very hard time with people taking things outside of the game and the Forums. To be honest, I haven't had a bad interaction with any of the Mods in private messages. I remember when the game was down for a day or so, can't remember the exact amount of time. Totally out of their control. Miike and Ad0ra just hung out and had some down-to-earth conversations with us. It was cool to get to know them as people.

No, see, what you just said is stating a different opinion. If this is all you’d said at the beginning of this conversation, I don’t think anybody would’ve come after you. Nothing wrong with saying you prefer one team over the other, even if there’s disagreement.
But that’s not what you did. You made personal attacks against Miike and Jax, making claims about their character and who they are as people. And so people went to bat for them, just as I’m sure you would hope people who know you would step up for you if you were being insulted. You don’t get to now hide behind “oh why am I being attacked for thinking differently” when your original post was unnecessarily rude to people who aren’t even here to defend themselves.

Well you were banned from the Discord for breaking multiple server rules so I don't doubt it tbh. Maybe take that as a reflection of your behavior more than anything else.
I always liked miike for reasons. I am ignoring the times he made some extremely silly comments. Some specific comments quiet early made me realise how much he did for the community. Now I keep getting surprised how he started getting all the love after he was gone.
They deleted my comment on a thread where I said Jax did not made typos in live streams, he was extremely dedicated towards his profession. And kept us(me) entertained whatever silly things he did. I don't stream twitch otherwise I'd follow his streams.

They did well and I miss what they brought to the community, though they killed the forums with introducing the mcoc discord
I know many of the forum members here won't agree but the Discord was long needed. All the CM's need to do is be more active here too. I don't like that it has split their attention so much.
Kinda unrelated but I think Jax and Miike's "take" on the livestreams was more genuine. Now with Dave and Karatemike everything there feels kinda forced, the laughs too
Jax is also a streamer, so it makes sense that he is comfortable doing a stream.
Don't want to correct you, you are indeed extremely helpful and unbiased in forums. But dork and karate are both streamers. Most of us had watched their streams live, we know how they were in their 'natural habitat', they are entertaining.
I hate to be the one critiquing both of them on live streaming. But I don't feel the same connection in live streams. There's something different. Is it the pressure or there's too much negetive feedback recently. Idk
