I went in with my 7R3 Dust with Prowess ender raid boost (Assault). It increases raid fervor for the amount of active prowess and Dust gains a ton of prowess. She's also bleed immune for Weapon X and Jabari. For Korg, mutants take 25% less thorn damage. Plus, her lights and heavy attacks are non-contact.
However, we were the first to fight Korg on the right side and it either prompted you for lights or prompted you for mediums which sucked because of the thorns. I ended up using all my revives and took down Korg once my team got me enough charges.
Keep the orange fervor timer (on the left) active by doing the prompts and don't waste specials when his indestructible is up. I mainly just build to SP2, drop the heavy, and go ham. All while trying to do the prompts and watch his unblockables. Once it resets, rinse and repeat. I can usually get two (sometimes 3) rounds of SP2 and 2 SP1s before the dust storm goes on cool down.
The cherry on top, my "reward" for beating that juiced up Korg was an abysmal 5K 6* shards... SMH.

I remember back in like 2018 when there were bugs galore, Kabam was quick to send out compensation packages for players. Now, we're plagued with growing issues each update and we just have to deal with it.
Not only is is broken completely, but it's supposed to be extremely difficult and supposed to have better rewards. First chest of nightmare raids for me. T6 class. What do I get in every single chest in Raids since the beginning of the mode. T6 class. I honestly wouldn't even believe Titan shards or 7 star shards existed as rewards in raids if i hadn't seen alliance mates get those as rewards. So imagine how pissed I am to not only deal with the overturned and broken defenders, but to get f%$@*ng T6cc from the first chest. If they don't fix battlegrounds and raids and seriously overhaul and buff rewards I may be one of the people that I usually disagree with and want to quit the damn game after 9 years.
Only 7 revives for the comp is crazy given how egregiously overtuned that Korg on right side is where you need to punish specials. My question is why not test the content beforehand instead of releasing it only to offer a minimal amount of revives in the compensation? Is it to milk peoples units knowing theyll want to complete exploration? Not to mention taking away the 7 inventory limit on raid revives just makes the situation look much worse from an outside lens

I'm not saying that the Thorns Damage isn't over-tuned, the Game Team will evaluate everything for Round 2 - but from my understanding, the Thorns seem to be completely avoidable as well.
I literally don't understand why he keeps spamming "nightmare raids are supposed to be difficult" - what the heck does that have to do with bugs which mean the game isn't working as intended?
Is he conflating bugs and difficulty? Like it's a part of their game design to have bugs elsewhere to make things harder?

As angry as I am, I forget that I’m part of the problem. Specifically, why would I expect anything different? I can’t think of the last piece of new content that has come out without an issue . Nor can I think of a satisfactory pro player response from Kabam. My alliance and I decided to do nightmare raids, knowing full well of the likelihood of problems and an insufficient solution.

To be honest, the fights are quite fun. Not that hard to play around those nodes
Make sure to bring a striker for undestructible and stay aggressive fulfilling all those prompts as well. Then you should be good. High dmg champs like cage work pretty well
But korgs thorns are too much The fight on the right side is just poorly designed and should be Given a better compensation
Also buffed rewards ? That’s a joke Compared to the Buggs/ and korgs thorn dmg. It’s not worth the 180 tickets
Rewards should be more consistent and don’t contain like 6* shards
And of course no mods have been on the forums in a bit. At some point they need to take an all hands on deck approach to new content launching so they can react a bit better to the bugs they keep letting sneak through.

Korg is absolutely overpowered. His rock shield is up to fast, his thorns doing way to much damage. Also he becomes on lockable why to often.
This is a cash gab for most of the playerbase.
On top the nightmare raids rewards are pretty bad and not worth the resources.
Finally got through the right side Korg with the help of our backup guy. For my troubles... A whole whopping 6.5k more shards than I get from hitting the second milestone reward in the Super Daily Event.
Totally worth the hassle, the aggrevation, and the massive unwillingness of COMMUNITY moderators to show a little contrition and say "We screwed up. We launched this without testing it or dotting our "I"s or crossing our "T"s. We're sorry for causing this portion of the game to not be fun."

I want to know how many alliances Kabam intended this “extremely difficult” content for. Top-50? 100? 500? In a game this huge, it’s almost impossible to know. By the same token, we mostly self-select our company as far as game progression. What percent of the active playerbase is valiant (or just how many as a raw number)? What percent has 10+ r3? 20+ r3?
Where are the compensation revives for crying out loud! Idk if ASAP means "hang on until we get to you" as some people are getting them and some havent yet??
Right hand side Korg is absolutely terrible, starts every fight with 4*medium prompt and by the time you have parried him a couple of times and cleared his rock stacks so you can actually land a medium you have hit the penance timer so can no longer parry stun or block him without taking massive damage. You have to intercept a couple of times to get the mediums by which time his rock stacks are back up and if you catch the last medium as the rock stacks drop that’s most your health gone from the thorns. Idk if it’s just my imagination but the rockstacks seem to reapply much quicker than normal giving a very limited window to complete the medium prompts.
The team stated this would be hard content but there is hard and then there’s just unenjoyable. Only a few champs are able to land mediums against him and I am getting medium prompts 3 and 4 times in a row. I don’t think any defender should be so limited in terms of specific counters in a mode where you are already hampered by the reduced choice of attackers you can use. Korg is a bad choice full stop and I would say kabam please put someone else in as you have lots of champs you could use but we would probably end up with serpent or enchantress instead.

If we ranked 162 doing map 8 of AQ, are we qualified for “extremely difficult” content? We started the war season in tier 2.
“Extremely difficult” means whatever each person - speaker or listener - wants it to mean. That’s true for better or worse.
Maybe next time, it needs to say “top ??? alliances” or “people who have 100%ed all Carina content this year” or whatever?
