Great video. I agree with a lot of it, some of it I don't, but I always appreciate Seatin's perspective.
Just out of curiosity, what points do you notably agree/disagree with? You obviously don't need to (and shouldn't) call Seatin out, but I feel providing some more detail will help generate some more constructive debate and also ensure that the playerbase's points are actually being taken into consideration.
It would take a full post/video the length of his to share my thoughts, but at a high level what I agree with:
Monthly content being way behind where it needs to be
Rewards and objectives not being communicated well and getting lost in the UI
Feeling lost in Sagas
Bad Battlegrounds matchmaking experience for large groups of players
The knowledge and skill requirements to play at the highest level are insane
General lack of desire to chase new champions
The knowledge and skill point aside, we thankfully have work ongoing to address all of the other points.
I would say the main thing I disagree with is his assessment of some of the content he talks about, especially story content. We have some user research for instance that says most end-game players enjoy Act 8, whereas he doesn't seem to.
This is interesting. Is the user research that says end-game players enjoy act 8 the surveys you send out? Or another way? It’s curious to see how you know players enjoy content.
We do surveys and focus groups.
Oh yeah because surveys are accurate. Stupid just like I said
Look, if you're going to contribute something to the conversation, by all means. Otherwise you're just bringing the average down. It's clear why your comments have been moderated if you're talking like this.
He's the squid games guy. New account same schtick.

Shut your mouth
dude lmao like are you really that in need of attention and help, like just hop off no one wants you here have some self respect get a job or something (i'm sorry, we know you are not capable of finding one).

I really enjoyed act 8, I feel like only a small percentage of players don't like it.

Appreciate the insight you’ve given today. I am curious about the new currency “radiance” will this replace/combine all in game currency (bg tokens/ mysterium, glory, loyalty as well as their associated stores) will the radiance store be progression based I.e bg store?
Seatin understands the entire player base more than any other YouTuber as evidenced by the amount of subscribers he has and how almost any video he makes on subjects like the state of the game go viral within the community. Kabam would do well to somehow work out a relationship with him to kinda communicate back and forth to the community in a non official capacity. I don't know if he would even do it but he's widely respected by players and fellow YouTubers. It seems like there's a serious lack of communication coming from players, YouTubers and Kabam. So many videos in response to Cashed's post were of surprise in the lack of players engaged in BGs. I don't think many of them would've made the boycott video if they had known the data. Data sharing like that could not only help clear up issues on like why BGs have been put on the back burner but maybe also help shape content on to what players are really playing and enjoying instead of countless BGs streams. Just a thought

As much as I enjoy current story content, I do agree with seatin that at times it does feel way too easy with the nodes, fun but easy. I think some great stuff would be the celebrity challenges, more gauntlets/ boss rush. I always wondered why normal players don’t have access to the practice mode that the CCP server has, let people go all out practicing with no damage caps. Or stuff like the back issues mode, what happened to that? It’s been years since the last one and that was some of the best content in the game, if you made one of those every saga or two, that would be really cool.
The thing which was so on point for me was the game is so niche you have so many different nodes and there are only 2 or 3 champs which forfill the majority of the node fights, they are so hard I think he also described the situation well for causal while I am an end game player I and not really good enough for these stupid end game event like epoch. He also in way mentioned you need to spend huge amounts of money to be competitive in these events. With so many other quests activities battle grounds, war, inclusion monthly eq if your not spending money you don't stay relevant. One thing I totally agreed with an for me this is fun going to relm of legends fighting winter soldier and dealing huge damage this is so damn satisfying I love it. For me everything he said was on point. @kabam hopefully you have heard when you buff rewards, don't wait another 12 to 24 months to buff them again. Incrementally buffing them every 4 months will keep people much happier
I appreciate his perspective,..i don’t see many issues with champion releases,..in fact i feel they have become more interesting with often unique utility…and i feel the days of nuke champs like Cgr aren’t really as appealing imo. I agree that the constant cycle of acquiring mysterium and cashing it in at the traders outpost store is VERY monotonous and uninteresting, and i still feel this was introduced as a way to put little creative investment into the actual side quest mode itself. There are many different opinions on the state of the game recently and i respect them all, as well as the game teams perspective. I just feel that the game is missing that “quick fix” feeling from month to month, where something interesting and fun keeps you engaged. Everything lately is end game content “this”, and boring side quest content “that”,..and trade your currency in this store here 👉. For some reason sagas have never really meant that much to me (I barely notice them) tbh. Indeed the game has grown,..but i miss those events that would engage you and keep things interesting in between all the other content being released (mutant treasure island) for example. The games direction seems much more inline with big spending events and end game content rather than game modes you can just have some quick fun that are interesting and offer (decent) rewards,..and i find that unfortunate.

I think Seatin nailed this. The reduction to 3 paths was a bad call and path nodes are too rigid have led to content that feels more like EQ than Story Quest. I miss the days of story content have some challenge too it.
I will say boss fights have been on point though for the most part
I absolutely love Seatin... But it feels like he only posts anymore when there is opportunity to garner the most views possible. I miss the old Seatin. Still appreciate that he is hopping in on this though.
I also love seatin and missed him when he left. I just watched the video and he delivered exactly what I expected from him. The first thing: He did not ride the boycott band wagon. He could have made a big boycott clickbait. But his thumbnail was just kind of a meme.
I absolutely appreciate his perspective. He looks at things from the little guys point of view.
-This video is much more my voice. -Have the Everest stuff for the sweaty try hards and the content creators, but quit neglecting the fact there a bunch of valiants out here that aren’t that.
-It's much of our voice. -Being Valiant is not the real endgame ceiling. I get what you are trying to say, but we are behind on the next progression title. In simple terms please do not compare valiants to be equal. They are absolutely not. Seatin perspective covers all players and their gaming experience regardless someone is valiant or not.

Timing yes, content no. Lagacy, Vega, KT1, etc are all coming at this from the same perspective (and there is nothing wrong with that). And lo and behold, Kabam moves within 24 hours to announce changes to where their main criticisms are leveled from a top tier perspective.
Seatin jumps in from the casual player perspective to remind Kabam “uh, there are other groups out here too you know…”. I actually think in this instance it’s perfectly timed
That is 100% ture. Kt1 also shares a casual playerbase perspective.(Then he makes 5 veiwbait videos for every single helpful one). Most of the others speaks from a selfish point of view, with ulterior motives. (This one is biased opinion.)
Great video. I agree with a lot of it, some of it I don't, but I always appreciate Seatin's perspective.
After so many years, seatin still shares the same perspective he did back then. I don't follow any youtubers anymore, but watching him speak for us again feels refreshing. He didn't even have to use the trendy word boycott for it.

Act 8 is absolute W content, the best rewards we have seen for fights that weren’t too demanding but the bosses were reasonably challenging. Act 8 and 9.1 is how content should be in my opinion
Regarding the acts. Seatin also made a fair point. Paths, nodes whatever it was had an exciting part or learning curve. Now its paths with 6 fights and 50 different nodes describing 100 different ways to die. I dunno I really enjoyed it when they had the weapon nodes and it had a benefit to the attacker or punishment if you didn't play it right. I don't enjoy reading the Node Sutra describing every way I am going to get KO on every node. I am also getting older and that node description font its too damn small.
I personally did not enjoy act 789 at all. Mainly the exploration part with the reading involved. The bosses were great. From Gwenmaster till orochi. Maybe orochi and scytalis were a tad bit too easy. I had fun planning act 6 exploration. But this is just my opinion.

i kind of miss OG act 6 and stuff, even though it was hell, but also weren't we just complaining about a few paths from the 9.2 beta just a month ago? lol
as a community we're all over the place and it has to drive the devs crazy.
