I can definitely see this being the actual pool I don't know why a few people disagreed. Nick and Nimrod will be the two chase champs, iBom Apoc and Annihilus are the okay ones and then Morningstar is the one nobody wants to pull cause it's complete garbage. Sounds very realistic to me considering so far it seems like they're pulling champs that were once considered strong not champs like Hulkling who will always be strong even if they're two full ranks behind.

Annihilus has never been considered strong. He hits as hard as Vision on a good day, and is only annoying in defense without widely available counters.
And Morningstar makes no sense - not strong enough so it warrants inclusion in a vote to make make her stronger, yet strong enough to be included in a crystal described as powerful? It would be totally bad PR too, as you’ll have people complaining about the voting (people complaining that “we could have had a buffed 7-star Morningstar” or complaining that the voting would have had a different result based on the timing of the news/leaks). Kabam would be knowingly inviting controversy for what reason?

Gotta disagree there he hits harder than Vision, problem is you need AI cooperation so you can stack up a lot of stiffles before sp2. That's not the reason I think he's in the crystal though I think it has to do more with defensive value, he was never a powerful attacker but he was a top war defender when he came out, and that seems to be the trend with this crystal which is why I think Morningstar also makes sense. She was a top champ at one point, back when a champion with power gain was op. I don't think this crystal is only about powerful champs now but champs who might've been powerful once.
Also, we don't know if they'll do some tweaking, they just did it with iBom and boy is that change big for BGs especially, so the possibility is there, maybe they tweak both Annihilus and Morningstar as well we don't know.
I like iBom so I’m happy with that one. I don’t think Scorpy was ever happening as much as I’m a big fan.
My prediction for the final three: Annihilus, Claire, Nimrod. Slight chance of Ghost instead of Nimrod given Thunderbolts. I’d consider taking Claire to R4 if I pulled her - she’s always been one of my favorite mystics.
Also glad I’m sitting on a generic AG right now. Will consider using it on Fury if I pull him. He also would be an R4 candidate.
Why not release Hercules with the prevalence of nodes that neuter him?
not only that, but every boss is designed against him, and considering how you can’t use him in any Everest content, and most likely story content is gonna be slow if you his because of the bigger health pool, I don’t think he would even be too op atp, my guesses are still doom for mystic, hulking for cosmic, I think scorp for science, and either fant or ghost for tech, but I’m really leaning towards ghost

Assuming there’s a champ from each class—and that’s how I would do it—we lack the champs for Tech, Cosmic and Mystic.
I like the format this guy put forward a couple of weeks ago.
His methodology makes sense, even if I tend to think the elimination of MorningStar was premature. If iBom is getting a small tweak, she could get one as well, since she’s decently solid (I don’t use her—never really liked her).
Biggest hope for me is that there aren’t any legitimately bad champs in the pool.

I'm leaning towards Mephisto or Claire than morningstar since she was part of the buff voting.

The problem with the rationale for Annihilus is that is projecting defense as a reason for meeting this 'powerful' definition. So far, of the three champions, only 1 is really considered powerful for defense (Nick Fury). In terms of the 3 champions revealed, I would say that their offense is more 'powerful' than their defensive potential. That's not to say that the 6 champions couldn't be half offense/half defense spread, but otherwise Annihilus doesn't really follow the trend of the 3 revealed champions. Additionally, if the leaks are true (which I don't think they are) but Morningstar and Nimrod don't scream 'powerful on defense' either, so Annihilus would be a big outlier.
And again, the Morningstar vote is a huge wrench in terms of her inclusion in the Fire crystal. Either: (1) Kabam knew MS was unlikely to win the buff vote, still included her unbuffed kit in the Fire Crystals ... to generate player discontent since the vote officially told us that she could use a buff? (2) Kabam thought MS had a chance to win the buff vote, still included her in the Fire crystal... so that players could get their hands on her long before her buff actually goes live? (3) Kabam included MS in the Fire crystals because they planned on a simple numbers buff (it'll be a small tweak, not a full rework), and yet included her in a vote that would suggest a full rework (and not just a small tweak) would be needed?

Yeah, even if Annihilus was an option, Morningstar is definitely not coming.
Really happy about the crystal so far. Immortal Abomination is a great champ and one of my favorites to use on offense that has been mostly sidelined because he can't keep up with other seven stars. If the rumor is true, getting Nimrod as a seven star is also a win. I don't care about the other two rumored champs but four out of six being guys I would probably use is really exciting.
At this point kaban should just change the tagine for this crystal to be whatever goes if they're going to add Morningstar
I know ibom is a good champion but there's no he qualifies to be among the top champions. At least fury and apoc, even not being meta champions have abilities that moved the game when they came out and and are still useful. But ibom I don't see that
Mephisto would be a great add. He's underrated on offense (soul imprisonment is pretty powerful) and his defensive value is still there. No doubt Claire would be the homerun we're looking for, but she has no defensive capability. I just don't see Kabam releasing Doom as a 7 star, at least not in the current form. Kabam is always careful to release power control champs with how they can completely control fights. Will hold out hope they introduce God Emperor Doom as the new Ares and eventually becomes playable. That would be pretty awesome.
Have a feeling this crystal will be 2 way threats which leads credence to the Annihilus option. People forget about his sp2 and how damaging that is. Ikaris could be another cosmic option...hate fighting him without a hard counter.
Tech is the trickier one because there aren't a lot of champs left that would fit the 2 way theory. Guess we'll find out soon enough. Won't be spending on the crystal, so happy hunting to everyone out there that will be.
It's not going to be Hulkling - Vega told Kabam not to do it because it would be a bad idea. Sorry to disappoint anyone - I was also hoping for him in the crystal.

As for the last part, why would you not expect them to throw some garbage in there? If the leaks are true and we're getting Nimrod and Nick, that crystal needs garbage in it to balance it out. Lastly, both Morningstar and Annihilus could be decent with a few tweaks they don't need full reworks. iBom got one, we don't know the rest yet. Your points are valid, but the possibility is there regardless.

morningstar yes she was very good especially when there was buff heavy metas,
but ibom???, he came out a year after torch and void, wasp, thing, capiw were already in the game, heck even ghulk was in the game. he was already struggling with the options available so i don't know how he is considered for this crystal

This image reminds me of Paul the Octopus.
He was 12-2 during the world cup, that means only one of these is wrong and it's pretty obvious which one it is, please let it be Claire I'm praying.
most likely doom not gonna lie
Nah most likely Claire, if Nimrod (Crashed hinted at only one of the guesses being wrong and Morningstar is the most obvious one) is in it I don't think they would throw Doom in it as well since Nick is already in it too. I also don't think Doom would be released before Claire in general and I think Nick has already generated a lot of hype so they might wanna save Doom for something bigger like Banquet.

iBom is in my opinion way better than Void, Wasp, Thing, IW Cap and Gulk on offense so I don't really have that much of an issue with him being in the crystal, he is powerful just not as powerful as the other two. I think we need to wait to actually test him with the small tweaks they made to his kit before judging because I actually do think he has a lot of potential now.

Tech is the trickier one because there aren't a lot of champs left that would fit the 2 way theory. Guess we'll find out soon enough. Won't be spending on the crystal, so happy hunting to everyone out there that will be.
Your points are valid, but the possibility is there regardless.
but ibom???, he came out a year after torch and void, wasp, thing, capiw were already in the game, heck even ghulk was in the game. he was already struggling with the options available so i don't know how he is considered for this crystal
