Is 7* Void still worth a science AG?

The Heat Wave event put me over on AG shards, and I pulled a science gem. Pretty low on my list as my Science roster is probably my best roster - pretty stacked and I have all the key ones awakened (including SpiderWoman and Red Guardian who I used a generic on). The only really decent 7* Science champ I don’t have awakened is Void. I’ve been making do with my 6*R5A max sig Void when I need him, but Kabam seems to more and more be content locking things to 7* now and it is surprising how often Void is the solution (even in the recent content for Gorr in run #2 apparently). When I combine that with the fact that I’m not in a big guild and generally don’t do AW and other big alliance events and as such I don’t get Loyalty often. So, rarely pull the loyalty 7* gem and am unlikely to dup Void naturally any time soon.

Basically it is a choice of use it now on Void or hold it for some future unreleased Science champ assuming I manage to pull them.

What do you all think?

    I duped my 7* void from the loyalty 7* crystal

    So I wouldn't recommend using 7* science ag on void

    You already got spiderwoman awakened, so might as well awaken void, especially if you haven't done quest 2 of WoF yet

    But next time there's a serious endgame fight where an Awakened Void would be a great solution... If you haven't acquired a better option in the meantime, give it to him.

    I haven't used Leader but my understanding is that he can do what duped Void does in regen heavy matchups.
    Of course, there might be new content where Void is again the only allowed option.
    But then again, if we have to use resources on champs just because of locked gate and selector nodes, we have to just wait and see what those are.

    I was able to get that Gorr down with a r2 unduped in 3 revives.

    I can’t imagine how easy it’d be with the dupe, and I think void is worth awakening anyway. With that said, I don’t want someone to think they’re roadblocked if he’s unduped, because I had some fights where I was using tons of revives and gorr wasn’t one of them.

    That's 3 revives too many imo. The most I ever used on any fight was quest 1 enchantress at 5 revives.

    Other than photon, there isn't any science champs that really need an AG right now unless you really love them. And void is a good candidate. A 7* will let you do match ups outside of perfect void match ups that a 6* may not be able to due to increased health and attack

    Absolutely. Awakened void is still amazing as 6* and probably better as 7*

    Void is in Loyalty crystals, you can easily awaken him, I have him awakened as a 7*, especially if you are an active player and play higher ranked games in alliance wars, you get those crystals much more easily as well, iirc Alliance war Showcases also have Crystal Shatters in them. so, I would hold the AG for a better use

    Loyalty crystal isn’t guaranteed and the cooldown is massive. Awakening is just a better option right now

    Thanks all.

    I think I’m going to go for it. Since I’ve already got all the science champs awakened that I would want awakened, the soonest I’d possibly have use for it is 2 1/2 months from now when the next Titan drops for High Evolutionary, and even then I may not pull him. As Pikolu pointed out, I can use awakened Void for Quest 2 of WoF, which I’ll likely be doing in the coming weeks. Since gems seem to be coming a bit more easily now I might as well get some return on this one sooner vs. later.

    For the OP - I've played both. Void was my first maxed out 5 star and I like playing with leader as well.

    My 2 cents- Playstyle is different for both. See what suits you better and go with void only if you like his Playstyle. Bear in mind, IMO void is much more tankier.

    Easy choice.

    Void is that champ who is not flashy but can put lot of work. I took him from Poolies event as that was guaranteed way to dupe him.

    I would do especially if you have everyone else in the science class (that’s worthy) awakened.
