What you get for the time you put into the game is a game. If the game is not worth your time, you shouldn't be playing the game.
Do you mean to suggest that app makers don’t value the time a user spends on their app? Perhaps you’ve spent enough time on the programming side that you take share of user time and attention for granted?
There’s a very good reason log in rewards exist, and it isn’t benevolence or a desire to boost lower gamers or help the progression curve, and I am perplexed that you would posit such a naive argument.
Also: the key difference between reading my post and logging in is I’m not looking to make money off your reading my post. More: I wasn’t suggesting there’s some reporting requirement for engagement, but if you think that data isn’t highly relevant internally, then there’s no point going further. And “retention”? That’s gamespeak for keeping people around and profitable.

I have an idea: create an extra appreciation package for people that spend money. Let the free to play be happy with their basic package.
They don’t like it? Buy something of a certain price.
People who spend should not be receiving the same appreciation package as a free to play. Update it and appreciate the money!
Casinos don’t give hotels, buffets, clothes, shows, to jus everyone; they scale their appreciation, accordingly.
Kabam should do the same
The game exists to be profitable. Period. It’s not a benevolent society.
Every second I spend on the game is a second I may take an action that adds to that profitability. It’s also a second I don’t spend elsewhere.
Why would anyone think developers would make design decisions like the red numbers and the red stash/timer? Because someone liked red? Red denotes something that requires attention, and once I’ve logged in I am more inclined to check on the red alerts to see if I need to take action...action which could lead me to do something that may add to profitability.
Viewed in the same naive light, game lag is just an altruistic addition to the game meant to hone your skills, and unavoidable damage enables Summoners to appreciate more fully the benefits of potions.

I’ve noticed how you don’t use my words when I speak of appreciation package like the casinos do to heavier spenders. Why do you not respond to that but talk about entitlement again when I’ve already said I’m not entitled jus like they’re not entitled to our services.
Are you so stuck on proving entitlement that you’re actually missing the message? No one here is speaking of entitlement.
That’s why I’ve constantly labeled it an “appreciation package”. Your response to entitlement is becoming spam because it’s not even relevant to the flow of conversation. It’s consistent with what you see but like I said, it’s not consistent with the actual facts of conversation and arguments.
It’s not entitlement to ask for more. Where do you get your definitions; urban dictionary?
Kabam doesn’t have a problem about having their users spend money so why not give an incentive to create more spenders by a better appreciation package? What’s so wrong with this? It doesn’t even have to be super amazing rewards like 8 t2as a month.. Jus make it more relevant with rank up costs and resources of end game rank ups and leveling up..
The gold they give in the basic appreciation package is unsatisfying to their goal of encouraging and appreciating their spenders.
Why are they missing this? Do they not see the value of it when Casinos do it to their spenders? Appreciate the money!
What are they doing to appreciate the money?
Appreciation is not found in what they buy, that’s not appreciation; that’s an offer.
Appreciation is when they do something *extra* to show appreciation of the money being spent on their offers; like casinos do with machines and gambling, they get into contact and give them a choice of a package to show their appreciation of the money being spent.
Offers are not appreciation. That’s an offer to get more revenue. If I gave you an opportunity to buy some shoes and you buy those shoes, am I automatically showing you appreciation by you buying the shoes? No. It’s jus an offer. If I wanted them to keep coming back and be a consistent spender I should give them an appreciation package to *encourage* them to come back and spend more.
It’s the second play off the deal. You shouldn’t jus leave the deal transaction when it’s made but create a constant flow of funds for future transactions to be made!
Appreciate the money! You’d get more!
Kabam is leaving the second play and they are coming short with their potential of funds.
“Not really to have them come back”!? Lol What? Lol
What business do you run where you don’t want the funds to come back? Lol you’re tripping lol that’s the main reason!
You saying “not really to have them come back”, says enough for me. You don’t understand that business concept then, or you’re trolling...
If they enjoy gambling and being at the casino, it’s going to encourage them to come back because they fed them afterwards. It’s the appreciation package!
It’s not jus about the current, it’s about making that person happy and leaving with a better experience after a bad or good day. Taking the better experience into their own hands whether or not they had a bad or good day. They at least fed the man and appreciated him!
Telling us they appreciate us is not enough.
The same package Kabam is missing out on and similar funds as well.
B. We are not owed free merch for playing. That defeats the whole point of A.
C. Logging in is not a job, and is not entitlement to pay, nor does it acutally generate any revenue directly. It shows active Users which may appease financial contributors, partners, and sponsors, but I would bet Dollars to Seashells that's not the reason people are logging on.
D. What you're talking about is not appreciation. It's a stiple, and that's not what the Login Calendar is. It's a Bonus. You literally get Items which ALL have a value within the game, for the effort of opening the App, which you would be doing regardless to play it. So, yes. It is not something for nothing. It's alot of something for pressing a button once a day.
What you’ve said is irrelevant to what the concepts are, and arguments.
Outdated like Kabam’s appreciation packages
“What would like to see added to the calendar?”
I would like to see 500 6* shards monthly
We shouldn’t jus have one deal as a business, we should create the second play to have a foot invested in the growth of the funds.
They don't owe us #### just for turning the game on. You earn Rewards, not demand them. Much less develop a sense of entitlement that has an inflation value.
Was that more on topic for you?
For example, if you have logged in for one month, the following month you get 100 4* shards daily on top of the normal rewards. Log in two months in a row and receive 200 5* shards daily on top of normal rewards. Log in 3 months in a row without missing a day and receive 200 6* shards daily on top of normal rewards. This would reward true loyalty, and be a great way of retaining players as the penalty for not logging in would be substantial over time.
It doesn’t have to be the crystal shards, or those amounts, but any kind of ramp up rewards would make me truly feel appreciated. And let’s be honest, 1 6* every 50 days is not that game breaking a reward for the consistency it demands, and when there is a clear bottleneck of t5bc to rank them up.
My points were well, on point. Unfortunately, your level of expectation is not congruent with the gravity of the situation. I'm sorry for that.
