So by adding platinum 4, does that allow the top 800 in gold 2 to now move up to gold 1 ? The way it’s all stated is kind of confusing, Master is top 20, p1 is top 50, etc, but it’s not clear if p1 is top 21-50 or 21 to 71. That goes the same for p4 and gold 1; is p4 for 800 teams or the teams who have an overall rank inside the top 800 but outside the top 300 in p3 for a total of 500 teams. Please clear this up as it is pretty vague the way it’s worded currently.

Anytime! Seriously, the 1st time I saw the Season Reward tier breakdown when they introduced it, I got a bit confused too, lol. Eventually I figured it out. It would've helped if they listed the slot numbers on their graphic like I did above.

Did they realize there's teams that are in Platinum 1 and 2 that are still dying over a hundred times and not completing the map just the way it is? Now they're going to make it even harder with no Global benefits that benefits the attacker whatsoever. The game just keeps getting less interesting every single day

Why give rewards for a month's worth of war such a huge RNG swing? The minimum is garbage. Why not have a higher floor? Unless you have buffed the drop rate, I'll be getting the minimum just like I have every single damn season since season 1. Some other dude in Plat 4 will get way more t5 basics because RNG. These crystals were announced as one of the major perks to AW seasons and they are trash. High level AW requires a lot of resources and time. Stop making the payout RNG dependent.

Having a range of 6k to 12k T5B seems a lot more reasonable vs 1.5k to 22.5k.
The range of RNG is just disgustig. You'll have gols 2 guys pulling full t2b out of crystals and master players getting like 10k shards. No one likes RNG rewards. Didn't the past few months show you that???

This is a really important comment and I hope Kabam sees it. We're in the same boat. We've been platinum for a few seasons now and because of the changes this season (and our decision to not use items to push to win due to those changes) we're now in gold 1. Our rosters got better, our skills didn't suddenly get worse, matchups SHOULD be fair and balanced, yet we're dying across the board, many wars don't get the boss down, and I know it's the same issue with the other groups we're facing, as we went from getting a few kills for our defense before to in some cases double digits for the top 5-6 players listed. It's quite a huge jump and change, yet we were told this wouldn't be more difficult and that the rewards next season would make it worth it. It's not, and I don't see my group changing anything we're doing next season in response. We're focusing on AQ now and finishing in top 200 there, if this doesn't get better in war I see us working toward adding map 7 in rather than caring about using items for war and locking our top attackers for 3 days of the week.
Really sad as a long time player to see war devolve into this, it actually used to be fun and seemed pretty fair across the board. And I can't believe we're actually talking about RNG based rewards being the main draw for this mode in 2019.

You are severely overvaluing shards. With so many champs in both the 5* and 6* crystals there needs to be an increase in availability. Getting a full 6* crystal for finishing in masters can still result in getting you a brand new 6* hulk buster.
The updated master rewards give 10,000 5* shards while monthly uncollected quests give you 7,500 shards. That’s only a 33% increase between a mode which requires boosts, potions, planning, etc. and a mode that requires no item usage other then energy refills and very little planning (maybe a counter for the last boss).
Yes I know there are other rewards obtained from both but when looking comparatively across all rewards across all modes of gameplay AW is currently the lowest cost-reward difference in terms of effort/items/skills compared with rewards received.

Overall I'm a fan of more rewards however war victor, loss crystals and the season end war crystals need some revamping.
War victor and loss crystals need to have better rewards or they can possibly be tiered if they really want to keep them as is, the higher the tier the better the contents. That may actually make people want them.....A 3* arena boost for someone in Tier 1 is next to useless, you might as well award me with an XP boost.
Season end war crystals can be removed entirely and replaced with a static amount of t5b or t2a. RNG should be left for champion crystals and not rewards for a competition. It's like finishing 1st place in a race but the guy who finished 10th is getting paid more.
OR you can adjust the floor. 1500-32k is a big range and it's not like you're getting a ton more of these crystals the better you finish. 1-2 more chances at what I can only imagine are terrible odds isn't really moving the needle or making anybody value these war crystals.
