I know there will be a lot of questions about Rank Down Tickets and Compensation for changes, and there already are some. As a reminder, we did say that we will approach these on a case by case basis, and will not be able to make any comments on this yet, because we don't know what Cull's balance pass will look like at all yet.
Also, remember that these changes are restricted to Tuning updates, and are will not change any abilities or utility. Our intention is that if you love your Champion now, you should still love them after.
Please dont speculate what individuals think and do. Base your projects and changes on facts and not speculation.
3 months is a long time in this game. When will their changes (new numbers, etc) be announced? Hopefully before they are live in 3 months.
Not too happy as I have a dupped 5* Cull at R4 and he is actually pretty balanced, imo. I don't think he is R5 worthy, he is a potion pit while on questing and is useless for AW(A or D) and I wouldn't use him in AQ unless I had some crazy evade in Section 2 or 3. So getting him nerfed from this point would actually make me want to rank him down in all honesty.
Completely agree, all cull has is damage and he doesn’t get that until a couple fights in, yes he is probably the hardest hitter once ramped up but the absence of utility and the ramp up make him fairly useless for a lot of content and act as a counterweight, yes he’s strong but he’s not top tier
He's not even a top 5 COSMIC champ. Corvus, CMMovie, Hype, Venom and even Medusa are all still better than him. Medusa has lost significant value over the past year, but still is much more useful than Cull, IMHO.
Why are you happy with Ronin and people are not? What did you see that they didn’t?
I’m assuming because there wasn’t a huge buff ronin movement they just assumed he’s fine as is or they just don’t want to buff him because he’s not bottom tier

What utility are you talking about all he has is the damage when you rank Him up and that is very hard to do without using items.
No. You can't nerf a champ after everybody has been buying featured 5*s to get him. You want to nerf him - you better refund us all the basic 5* crystals we could have gotten instead.

Then let us make the final decision on whether we “love” him as much after as before by not only giving RDTs but also a return of resources used to obtain him.
I understood with 12.0 the need to adjust champs to allow for sustainable content going forward. But this is ridiculous. The guy is like a one trick pony who’s only been around a few months.
Why not just make champs that can counter balance those champs rather than constantly nerfing champs?
When you have a Champion that wildly outdamages other Champions, and we start making content to counter that specific Champion, this harshly punishes every other Champion in game, and every Summoner that does not have that Champion.
Ronin needs to have his cruelties permanent once he ramps up and the evade fury needs to be far stronger. Otherwise he’s fine and I’d use him more - I have him 6* sig20 so I play him enough to know his shortfalls

Also you did not say that when Cull was out. you recently announced the changes to champs case by case. Soooo you should only do it to new and featured champs after the annoucnment. not champs that people already maxed.
The goal of Cull’s rebalance is to make tuning changes that keeps Cull Obsidian as one of the top damage dealers in-game.
Hopefully Cull doesn't stay a "top damage dealer" the same way y'all said Dr. Strange would still be a top champ after his nerf, just "closer to the pack." Still waiting for you to make good on that.
Changing cull obsidian at this point is a very poor decision. First he was broken with thanos favor. When you fixed him you broke him and his damage was clearly overpowered but then you fixed him again and had a chance to balance him as you “intended”. Subsequently you have re-released his crystals and took in a lot of money doing it. All the while you’ve had “rebalancing” him in mind?! That’s incredibly thoughtless at best and deceptive at worst. I’ve spent a lot of money building my roster and I can safely say it makes no sense to buy crystals if the champ you’re selling isn’t the champ we’re going to get.

And that doesn’t go for half a dozen other champs who have been in game longer? Not going to name them, because we all know who they are. Many of them can do equivalent damage while taking far less damage and less time to ramp up.

Cull has 0 utility, 0 survivability, and 0 easy matches while ramping him up. All he has is raw damage is you play well the first few fights. Taking him into 6.2 or LoL is almost out of the question. So if his damage is gimped you’re just making sure that we’ve all lost our rank up materials. If your argument he will be taking a damage reduction but all of a sudden he can actually survive end game content I’ll be surprised. But if your “adjustment” goes too far you guys have to give compensation. I’ve had Cull since the beginning and have had a rollercoaster ownership due to “bugs” and his being “reworked” don’t turn me into free to play and quit when that isn’t reasonable.

Every summoner doesn’t have that champion because of how poorly you designed champion acquisition to be. You change that, more people could have the champion and you could make content more intriguing for us
New champ comes out with crazy hype and over-performs what their mediocre testing shows and Kabam can go back to them 3 months later when they deem them too powerful AFTER you've spent your money and resources.
To top it off they can (and will) determine whether or not it's RDT worthy. In my opinion I wouldn't want a RDT but a refund.
Kabam, if you want to keep Cull as a top damage dealer, maybe you'll cut some of his other stats like armor or drop his block proficiency more rather than take away the only thing he has. If he out damages other champs after a somewhat painful rampup, so what? Someone has to deal the most damage. Why not Cull?
I hope this is a joke. You’re ‘balancing’ Cull. Wow. All he has is damage. He eats potions for fun, his ramp up is painful and he isn’t an option (definitely not a best option) for most of the latest content. I don’t know what to say. The investment in him for me has been massive, and it turned out he’s not even the best cosmic. Probably not top 3. This is an awful decision.
