I believe it’s time of purchase because it has been a practice in the past for people to wait to purchase certain crystals until base pools are updated. Maybe a mod can clarify.

I believe the champ is determined at the time you purchase the crystal not when you open it from what I recall.

@kabam any news on a fix for the overheating? My phone isn’t crashing anymore, but it’s still getting extremely hot whenever I launch the game and I’m still hearing about people’s screens separating/delaminating after the last update.

Patience, I repeat PATIENCE, will cost you SA points. I wouldn’t recommend holding throughout SA just for a level up, but it’s still counterintuitive to change SA to disincentivize holding and then not run a level up for over a week.

Oh ok. Thanks. The mods always know what’s going on before the players do right? They never get caught off guard by problems with the game and have to crowd source the issue to figure it out. If I had known you had all the answers and were on the development team I’d have come straight to you first. My bad.

Right. I’ve never seen a gap this long before. I’m wondering if something was broken when they introduced these new alliance events. Wouldn’t be surprised if the mods just aren’t even aware of the problem yet.

This is the longest I’ve ever seen there not be a level up. Maybe it will pop up any time now, but with all the changes I wouldn’t be surprised if it was broken.

That’s what I thought, but there hasn’t been a level up in several cycles(days) of the other solo events. And then people here keep posting to look at the announcement so either they’re to lazy too read the whole question or don’t want to admit they don’t know either. People who say Dorm is weak must not be using him correctly imo. If you use his heavy attack(soul bond/dark energy) you can do huge chunks of damage just by charging it with combos you were going to throw anyway. I’ve never had any issue with his damage output, but thank you for your opinion.
