If it helps you at all, you can activate boost if you go to your inventory tab, choose boosts, and use item for the boost you want to use.

Same here. Feels like a bait and switch. I choose a champ to counter their defender and end up against a champ that heavily favors the defense.

Different kind of luck. Pulled a 3star Colossus from a daily crystal, which yielded me a max sig crystal. Spun that and landed a 4star Immortal Iron Fist. The champions stink but the odds of this happening must be astronomical!

I’m leaning towards Ghost Rider because he has synergies with both Blade and Ice Man. I forgot to mention that I recently pulled a Starlord but I have not gotten much time to try him out.
