In 4loki our leadership is very serious about cheating, to the point where we won’t let someone in if we have a doubt that they have piloted or anything. However, it’s not possible to always know what every member is doing, it’s just not. One player who got permabanned yesterday and got their alliance docked was with us like 7-8 months ago. Did he cheat while with us? I don’t know.
For the first time I've experienced being part of a docked ally, and it sucks. However, I don't see any other options to make the contest fair for everyone.
I do wish though we had some indication of what the violation was, and to a lesser extent, who. You don't even know how many members violated the TOS. We're essentially forced to make decisions without complete information.
This is the wildest roller coaster of a thread I've seen in a while, and it flew off the track 2 pages ago. We're closing this down.
This has long been the action taken, and it is a responsibility of every Summoner to ensure that they are not unbalancing the game by using these kinds of Modifications, but it is also the role of leadership to ensure that they stress these things with their Alliance members, and are able to trust them.
