Tbh he’s pretty good in incursions with buff cornucopia, but If they tuned his damage to like falcon level that’d be sick
Ah, no. If you run sector 8, opponents are pretty beefy and I don't know if I can finish the fight with good health.
Angela does need a value adjustment, with higher health pools in newer content, she needs her numbers improved in order to punch up or else her only redeeming quality (damage) would be stuck at her current limit, making her worthless compared to champs that can increase their damage through multiple armor breaks and fury stacking. This is why a champ like Hyperion is leagues above Angela currently, depending on good RNG, his fury stacking has no limits.
I could never understand all the rage about Hyperion even though he was my third 5* champ and then I DUPED him.

Before anything, I want to say that I appreciate all updates that make champs better for us (the players), and am glad it's happening.
01) No, we're not asking for buffs to go in order from oldest to newest, but I personally do wish that Kabam would prioritize more of the oldest champs in the game. The 2014 pool is all but useless at this point, and the majority of them have been for several years.
02) Yes, we get the difference between tune-ups, updates and overhauls. We get that there are different time-frames involved with how how much work needs to go into each one. What some of us don't get, is why are characters that have been useless since pretty much 2014 are still on the back burner, when champs that came out several years later are getting priority over them... especially when they're not necessarily bad.
03) Kabams gonna do what they're gonna do. We also get that. But, some people are just bummed that the so many of the original champs have been unfun and pretty much unusable in the game for so long. Colossus and Gamora are the only 2 champs from 2014 that have seen some love so far (and colossus was an amazing rework - kudos, amazing update for an OG character who really once was bottom of the barrel)!
04) Would it be so bad if a couple more 2014 champs got prioritized for ANY type of buff before a couple newer champs that already have better synergies or relevance in the game right now? Why would that be so bad?

I made an appointment January 1, 2020 to start the restoration of my 2014 Ford Pinto. I actually bought this car from this very shop when it was brand new. At the time, the purchase was a dream come true; they assured me it was the best model available and would hold its value for years to come.
Unfortunately, the car started falling apart in less than a year and the KBB value went to the gutter even before the warranty ran out. It ran, but it always had trouble starting and the ride got steadily more rough. When I brought this to the shops attention, they said they'd make it right. They wouldnt just restore the Pinto, but they'd make it look and run like a Mustang!
They did warn me it would take upward of 3 months to finish since a restoration is no easy task, but that was Ok since they seemed genuinely ashamed for how terribly it devalued and wanted to help make things better based on a new company road map.
Unfortunately, the shop completely forgot about it. The paint actually got worse from sitting out in the sun and someone started stripping it for parts. Days turned to months, 90 days came and went, and a year later it still sits on the lot waiting for the restoration to begin.
Meanwhile, you bought a car from the same shop. It's about 3.5 years newer than mine, considerably nicer looking, still holds a good KBB value and has some extra features like Apple Airplay and a backup camera. Nothing too flashy, but they have their uses. You've only driven 5k miles since the last oil change and it doesn't need a new one until 15K according to the service manual.
Even though they've completely forgotten about my car and your car doesn't actually need an oil change, the shop slides it into the rotation without an appointment. While they're working on it, they also replace the wiper blades, vaccum the interior, put air in the tires and top off the rest of the fluids. Some nice extras at no charge!
I'm super happy they took awesome care of you, I truly am! But it's also super frustrating that they missed my appointment and worked on other cars instead. Will my car ever get restored? Who knows.

First of all, since MCOC was released in December 2014, for an intents and purposes the oldest champions date from basically 2015. Angela was released in April 2017. That means while the oldest champions in the game are about six years old, Angela is almost four years old. So let's revise the story first by saying the first car is a 2015, and the second car is a 2017, and it is now 2021. The first car is two years older not three and a half years older, and both cars are actually much more similar in age at this point.
Second of all, no one promised anyone anything about the long value of the champions. You hope they retain some value over time, but not only do the devs not make that promise, they go out of their way to state the opposite. You know like how when you drive a brand new car off the lot, its resale value often drops dramatically the instant you do? That's not the dealer's fault. They don't guarantee resale value. They only guarantee it will still run.
Not only that, no one ever made the promise that they would turn older less relevant champs into powerhouses. At most, they said they would try to make those champs relevant again. They promised your Pinto would get to work and back with all the accessories functional, not that they would turn it into a sports car.
The devs also never stated that all the champs would be updated in three months: that's totally ludicrous. They actually stated how fast they would try to update champions, and on that schedule it would take years to get through every champ. Someone would get to the Pinto eventually, but they make no promises on when they would get to it. Meanwhile, you didn't have to leave it there: you could keep using it until they were ready to work on it.
Finally, the devs have several buff queues going, each one working on different kinds of things. And they explicitly stated that they would be working on smaller jobs intermixed with larger jobs. So when you show up to the shop demanding to know why they haven't scheduled your complete overhaul when they are clearly still doing safety checks and wheel alignments, they tell you they are not going to shut down the shop just to work on your car.
And when you complain that they missed your appointment, they politely ask you to show proof you had one in the first place for them to miss.

I still think it's strange the asgardians arent poison immune or thor rag completely shock immune ( or even better shocks ramp him up) and loki could be frost bite/cold snap immune. Like dude if all of the captain Marvel's and Ronan are poison immune the gods should be as well
I was really hoping they would focus on her synergies with loki and the thors. I've never understood why they're so unwilling to make unique synergies more often. For instance Loki could send a equivalent of a life model decoy and gain Power each time it is struck (or a falter like mechanic)

I love the fact she is getting a buff. I really like her as a champion but I find myself often using other champs over her. A little extra umpf could change that. And make me choose her, even if she is still a little less effective as other champs. But purely from an enjoyment side.

If we didn't choose Angela for a value only update, it doesn't mean that Iron Man would be getting a buff. He needs more love than a Value only update, and we would only switch her out for another Champ that needs a value only update.

I actually missed two of those. Regardless, the word “update” was confusing for me because that was not the verbiage used in the original forum post. Mike clarified going forward what that means.
I was confused on the wording , and if he had to explain what that wording met , I do believe he understood my confusion. Semantics of “update”, was important. We would not be having this conversation if he didn’t have update in the wording.
Tune up = Value update = numbers change (no ability changes) (Punisher 2099, Mole Man, Terrax, Angela) Update = Numbers tweak + a few new abilities (Falcon, Gambit, Kingpin, YJ) Overhaul = Complete redesign of kit (Colossus, Both Magnetos, Hulkbuster)
I don't see how people are complaining about a buff to Angela. Kabam are buffing 4 champs a month for 2/3 of the months in 2020 (The other 1/3 is 2 champ overhaul months). 40 champs are to be buffed in 2021, why do y'all care if Angela gets buffed now or in December? So many people have sig 60 6 star Angelas rotting away, this tune up is very much appreciated. Y'all complain when you get a 6 star Angela sig 40 but then complain when she's announced to be getting a buff, make up your minds.
You cannot change the wording to show a contrast between the two “tweak” the words they used was “Value only , Update”, it’s fair to assume people confused update with YJ and Kingpin. Mike should have said next tune up. This is their legend below and how they should describe it going forward.

The commonly used are "Value only Update", "Moderate Update", and "Overhaul". These are all forms of Updates.

If we didn't choose Angela for a value only update, it doesn't mean that Iron Man would be getting a buff. He needs more love than a Value only update, and we would only switch her out for another Champ that needs a value only update.

Well, to be fair admin comments must be pinned or should be available separately in some way. Its way too much to expect to wade through so many comments to see what the admins have written. I know they are highlighted, but for side event announcements the pages add up so quickly that it becomes tedious to see any additional information we might be looking for. Something for the admins to look into.

I feel like you did not read my comment fully. I specifically said side events. Have you seen the number of pages last month? And with the complicated side events, it is very tedious to go through all the text. Not everyone can have the time to do that. Your issue is , you are upset that people missed Mikes comments then saying they don’t read. Yes, nobody is to be blamed because we have so many comments everyday, it is easy to miss some important ones. Admins and mods can try pinning important comments to the top of the thread so that we don't miss these. ( if that option is available that is)

First of all, since MCOC was released in December 2014, for an intents and purposes the oldest champions date from basically 2015. Angela was released in April 2017. That means while the oldest champions in the game are about six years old, Angela is almost four years old. So let's revise the story first by saying the first car is a 2015, and the second car is a 2017, and it is now 2021. The first car is two years older not three and a half years older, and both cars are actually much more similar in age at this point.
Second of all, no one promised anyone anything about the long value of the champions. You hope they retain some value over time, but not only do the devs not make that promise, they go out of their way to state the opposite. You know like how when you drive a brand new car off the lot, its resale value often drops dramatically the instant you do? That's not the dealer's fault. They don't guarantee resale value. They only guarantee it will still run.
Not only that, no one ever made the promise that they would turn older less relevant champs into powerhouses. At most, they said they would try to make those champs relevant again. They promised your Pinto would get to work and back with all the accessories functional, not that they would turn it into a sports car.
The devs also never stated that all the champs would be updated in three months: that's totally ludicrous. They actually stated how fast they would try to update champions, and on that schedule it would take years to get through every champ. Someone would get to the Pinto eventually, but they make no promises on when they would get to it. Meanwhile, you didn't have to leave it there: you could keep using it until they were ready to work on it.
Finally, the devs have several buff queues going, each one working on different kinds of things. And they explicitly stated that they would be working on smaller jobs intermixed with larger jobs. So when you show up to the shop demanding to know why they haven't scheduled your complete overhaul when they are clearly still doing safety checks and wheel alignments, they tell you they are not going to shut down the shop just to work on your car.
And when you complain that they missed your appointment, they politely ask you to show proof you had one in the first place for them to miss.
