Agree with the challenger rating comment. A 4/55 5* is equal to a rank 1 6*. Lol. You've essentially made 5*'s obsolete now by doing that. Done with this ****.
Honestly for something that is going to be extremely hard and cost massive units, the rewards are cheap. Most likely will pass on this unless rewards get jumped up. 4* champs come easily now and only people trying this have every 4* already.
That's not totally true. If you have the right champs you can probably do this quest quite well. You don't need to have all 4* to do the quest.
...extremely disappointed with 6* challenger ratings. So a 4/55 5* is now equal to a rank 1 6*...
This is actually a good point:
A 4/55 5* has a Challenger rating of 110. (5/65 at 120?)
A 5/50 4* has a Challenger Rating of 100, which is the same as a 3/45 5* champion.
A 2/35 5* (90) is the same as a 4/40 4*.
Assuming the same logic, a 1/25 5* (80) is the same as a 3/30 4*.
Following this logic, a 6* champion at rank one should have the same challenger rating as a rank 3 5* champion (100).
This would keep things a bit more balanced and keep 6*s from becoming way too powerful too fast.
Challenger Rating:
Since 6-Star Champions are new to the game, this also seems like the best time to let you all know what the Challenger Rating of each Rank of a 6-Star will be:
In comparison, a Rank 5 4-Star has a Challenger Rating of 100, while a Rank 4 5-Star has a Challenger Rating of 110.
Boss Rush arrives on October 18th! Prepare yourself Summoner![/color]
Is it just me or is the challenger rating on a 6* really aggressive. The current top champs in the game are r4 5* and they'll be outclassed by a r2 6*?

Will there be any time attack (legend run) for this event?
There will not be. The point of this is get you guys familiarized with 6-Star Champions, not to have you rush through it trying to get a Legends Title.
We really want you to take your time and get a feel for things!
For Crossbones it makes sense... it will feed his fury and decrease your abilities. Plus some of his hits are as high as crit hits when he has a bunch of a fury buffs.
-You've got 6 5* champions to get through.
-The last champion is going to be a beast to deal with unless you have one particular character.
-You are limited to using 3 and 4* champions in your roster.
-The rewards offered are a 3* crystal and 200x 4* shards.
Would you be at all interested in completing it? This is the equivalent of what is happening with 6*'s being introduced and they rewards that are being given for completing the quest.
While I frequently disagree with what Kabam does, this is one of the things I 100% agree with... This is what many, myself included, have been asking for, the ability to test something BEFORE it has a massive impact on our day to day play. There is nothing forcing you to do this, but let's get our voices heard before we have no choice but to fight against 6*'s in future content.
Hopefully we, the community, takes advantage of this, and hopefully Kabam will take our feedback seriously once we get our hands on it.
6* with nodes......what is reallly the difference from 5* with nodes that are similar in PI other than possibly a bit more HP and ATK base? Along with the underwhelming rewards, the release of new content yet again while many issues still go unresolved is truly dissapointing.
Unsure why the hate is coming on this one. It's only 6 fights.. If you fail and think another champ would be better you can start again. Pretty sure if you have a good roster you could clear this and get a free 175 units, 1550 5* shards 10x's 5* sig stones and 10x's 4* sig stones. For a free challenge. It may take 5 or 6 or 36 attempts but it doesn't have to cost anyone a penny. Lighten up, read and think before hating.
Agree completely. I think people are just used to complaining about the game lol. 6 fights gets you a taste of 6*s, units and 5* sig stones. What's not to like? Don't run the quest if you think it's a money grab or whatever. People keep talking about no motivation to run this quest lol. New quest! Free stuff! Can we at least run the quest before we talk about how horrible it is?
Is the Boss Rush game mode going to be available on a semi-regular basis in the future or is this just a one-shot event to let us get a look at 6* champs?

For me personally, it has absolutely nothing to do with hating at all. It has all to do with the fact that I'm dissapointed in the percieved blandness of what is supposed to be new and unique along with the fact that once again new content is being released amidst a number of existing bugs and problems that have riddled the game since the beginning of the year. The cost of money being spent is the furthest thought in mind also because I have chosen to no longer spend as many others have chosen.
I would like to think that many of the so called "hater comments" are due to similar reasons. Maybe try to consider what you believe as "hating" as just honest dissatisfaction which is likely a product of the current state of the game.
The time has come! We promised that you’d get your first taste of 6-Stars in October, and now we’re are thrilled to announce when your first look at these Champions will come - and the all-new content they'll first be revealed within!
Since the announcement of 6-Stars, we've seen a lot of speculation on where they might first appear. We also know that you, our players, always want new and challenging content. We thought - why not introduce 6-Stars in an exciting new challenge?! Content that is designed to give you a glimpse at the newest additions to the Contest, and content designed to give you a challenge!
Introducing - Boss Rush!
Hitting the Contest on October 18th, Boss Rush is similar to challenges that we have hosted in the past. Summoners will see some similarities with quests such as the Web-Slinger Challenge, but Boss Rush has some major differences… It’s only 6 fights long, features only 6-Star Champions and is only available for 2 weeks! Tough, short and available for a limited time only… Boss Rush is coming to push you to your limits and test your mettle.
Since this will be the first time you’ll encounter 6-Star Champions in the wild, we thought it would be good to give you guys a little more information on what to expect! What Champions can you Expect to Fight?
Like we said, you’ll be facing off against 6-Star Champions for the first time! But, like all of our more difficult quests, they won’t be the “vanilla” version of the Champions. They’ll feature some imaginative buffs to make them more challenging, and are all fully awakened (Signature Level 200). They will also have their Special 3 attack enabled, a 150% Attack Buff, and a 200% Health Buff.
These Champions will not have the Adrenaline mechanic enabled, although all playable 6-Star champions in the future will have this enabled. This is the mechanic that will allow 6-Star Champions to regain some of their health by attacking their opponents. We may choose to enable this in future Quests, but will not have it active on these opponents at this time.
Additionally, the Champions you encounter here may not initially be available as a 6-Star Variant until some time in the future. So this is not a sneak peak of who will be the first cohort in the 6-Star Crystal!

Remember! This won’t be a stroll along the beach, these Opponents are meant to be hard!
Since this is the first time you’ll all be encountering 6-Star Champions, we’re going to be keeping a very close eye on this Quest. We’ll be carefully evaluating game data, and will be gathering your feedback and thoughts on 6-Stars to help us fine tune them before they are released. The Rewards
There is only one path, and one quest, so all of the rewards are awarded upon defeating the Final Boss!
1x 4-Star Hero Crystal
175x Units
1000x 5-Star Shards
10x 5-Star Signature Stone Crystals
10x 4-Star Signature Stone Crystals
We’ve mentioned this before but want to reiterate - this is not only your first interaction with 6-Star Champions, but your first chance to give us feedback on 6-Star Champions as well! We want to know how you found their difficulty level, your thoughts on how your specific Champions performed against Six-Stars, and any other thoughts or feedback you’d like to share with us!
Boss Rush arrives on October 18th! Prepare yourself Summoner!
Wow will have to spend so many units along with valuable items for a 4* champ, and a tenth of a 5*, come on guys
Is it just me or is the challenger rating on a 6* really aggressive. The current top champs in the game are r4 5* and they'll be outclassed by a r2 6*?
This aligns with the Challenger Rating progression throughout the entire system. A 5-Star Rank 1 has the same as a 4-Star Rank 4, and a 4-Star Rank 1 has the same as a 3-Star Rank 3.
This isn't true Miike. A 5* rank one is 80 challenger rating and a 4* rank 4 is 90. Not the same bro.

Actually @Kabam Miike that's wrong. A 5* rank 1 has CR of 80, equal to a 4* rank 3 - the OP correctly states that 4* rank 5 has CR of 100 and 5* rank 4 has CR of 110. That means a 5* rank 1 has CR 80 and 4* rank 3 has CR 80.
The progression was changed in 12.0.1 to increase the overlap on 3*, 4*, and 5* champs as part of challenger rating rebalancing. 3* and 4* overlap by two, and 4* and 5* overlap by three, and the logical progression appears to be that 6* rank 1 should be equal to 5* rank 3, not rank 4, and 6* CR should go from 100 to 140.
i'm sorry but how can you really tell us to give you constructive feedback on 6* champions when you have stupid OP characters like Mephisto as the final boss? His aura of incineration procs way too much in Master Mode and how can you tell us it won't be that way or even worse during this challenge?
This isn't true Miike. A 5* rank one is 80 challenger rating and a 4* rank 4 is 90. Not the same bro.
When I tried to edit my post it went into moderator limbo and I thought it was important enough to amplify. You are correct and @Kabam Miike is incorrect: 5* rank 1 is identical to 4* rank 3, just like 4* rank 1 is equal to 3* rank 3. The logical progression should be for 6* rank 1 to be equal to 5* rank 3, or CR 100.
