The last 48 hours have not been our best - AW Rewards Tier Bump

Hello Summoners,
Due to an accumulation of bugs with high impact on Summoners over the last two days, many of which have impacted AW, we have decided to utilize AW rewards as an opportunity to apologize.
Therefore, the following action will be taken.
The actions being taken are limited to this season and will not be used as a precedent for future matchup issues. We obviously hope to not have any repeats of these incidents, but, any potential future issues will be addressed on a case by case basis.
We are working to get this information distributed via in-game message, but wanted to get this information to you as quickly as possible.
Edits for clarity:
1. Rewards bump will not include the titles.
2. Our #1 alliance will receive an additional 7,500x 6-Star Shards
3. You will need to remain in the alliance until the rewards are distributed in order to receive them

Therefore, the following action will be taken.
- The points from the previously discussed matchup 9 will be removed, as planned, after the season concludes.
- War rewards eligibility is reduced from 5 matches to 4, as discussed.
- When the season concludes, we will be bumping all alliances up one reward tier.

It's about rewarding a placement that MIGHT have been achievable, if not for the problems.
So the #2 place team, might have potentially been able to get #1 (ok, have no idea if that is really true or not, based on current actual points, but…)
Whoever finishes #1, they would have thus NOT been impacted by losing any placement. They still managed to finish #1. And they are still getting the full amount of rewards that their maximum POTENTIAL placement could have been (which in their case is the exact same spot they DID manage to end up, #1, despite the problems).
If this idea is so dumb, and you have all the comments sense, lay on me the bright idea that is your solution?
I'll use me as example. Aw as is ends get rewards as planned and I leave allaince as I'll be on an overseas holiday to return to allaince in 3 weeks.
With new rewards structure does my allaince have to carry dead weight for a week in essence 1 man down all of aq cycle till rewards are dished out or do I leave and get absolutely nothing because of a random bug that is completely out of my control.

Thanks, Summoners.
Additionally, it has become very difficult to plan swaps and avoid booting people before both AW and BG season rewards drop while still allowing time to get new recruits in and plan out defense. The best off-season we had was when BGs ended a week prior to AW, as the rewards typically drop the following Friday and then AW ends the next Wednesday and rewards drop. Pushing AW off a week would sync the seasons up again, and then giving BGs a 2 week off-season like AW has would take away a pain point for alliance leaders and officers by giving them time to actually plan instead of rushing to get everything done. After AW rewards drop players can leave/be removed, and there is a week to get new players in and situated (needs to be worked in with AQ) and everyone can be in by the next Wednesday when BGs starts up giving another week to plan out defenses, etc.
Please consider these two simple changes (pushing AW off one week and then starting up 2 week off-season for BGs after the upcoming season) to alleviate some of the stress and pain points for officers/leaders so the game can be fun and not a headache to plan things around.
