There are a couple things which are the cause of what you have noticed. Doom- each whiplash is an individual event so when they detonate only as many are needed to kill the opponent will occur/display. Thing- whiplash is physical damage and Thing has increased physical resistance via his rock stacks.

Psycho man starts the fight reducing his opponents ability accuracy while the are charging a heavy attack. Since you started the fight by charging a heavy he failed your ability to magnetize him. You need to wait to heavy charge until after magnetism applies.

Exactly. The gold never flew towards the upper right icon showing the animation was interrupted (the icon also increased by 2 when opening the crystal; this shows two new items came from the crystal 1 being the iso and the other being what was skipped by tapping the screen).

As pointed out previously removing the pause button does nothing when you can get the same effect by putting the app in the background or force closing it. You’re going to need a more creative solution.
