This was the most brain melting slog I've done in this game since I stopped grinding arenas for featured 5 stars.
Please, for the love of sanity, don't ever bring this content back after this month.
Now, I'm off to collect my inevitable sig 80 red hulk.

First of all I still believe high evol is good.
Second I'm going to save since I have all champs leaving, and only desirable pull is jack dupe which is more of a annoyance since I have bastion duped and planning to invest on him instead but if jack gets duped the choice may get harder. (Btw who's better jack or bastion)?
Also among the risk of pulling another rulk vs new maker/high evol, I'll pick the second one.

You're not competitive to begin with, if you were you wouldn't whine about people having bigger decks than yours in BGs 🤡okay, you proudly missed the point, downplayed the problem, and acted like disengaging makes you wise, when in reality, it just makes you irrelevant to the discussion. here’s why:“We can’t ignore it”?.This much outrage on simply a gamemode that you can easily ignore is crazy,you completely missed the point or chose to ignore it. it’s not just ‘something you can easily ignore’ — they purposely stuffed it with great rewards so we can’t ignore it. that’s the issue. it’s low-effort, off-brand content shoved into the game with insane rewards to force engagement, not because it’s fun or good.
It also gives good rewards for minimal effort so won't advice to ignore.

I have since last Wednesday when it was released,..did one run of it for 15-20 minutes and I haven’t been back since,.,and I won’t for the remaining tine it’s available.
I don’t think the rewards make it worth playing the mode,.,(it’s that bad),.,so i don’t.

i’m pointing out that kabam jammed valuable, top-tier rewards into garbage content specifically to force players — especially competitive ones — into engaging with it, whether they like it or not. It’s not about skipping it, it’s about how this tactic degrades the game design and sets a horrible precedent.
kabam’s entire goal with this kind of content is to test how little effort they can put in and still get engagement by attaching bait-tier rewards. players like you ignoring it does nothing if thousands more cave and buy arcade tickets.
As for all the whining, if you don't like it don't do it, miss out on the rewards nobody's forcing you to do anything you don't want to do lol.

I mean I think hes a solid champion that has a lot of room for improvement. He's not gonna be a bg nuke and would love to see him get a bit of a damage or ease of use buff but outside of bgs I think he can do fine. I've done a lot of realm fights with him and he's slow but with inequity its rare he finishes a fight below 98% with a lot of parrying which i personally like, he'll probably be great for incursions, but I think he could do with some numbers tweaks on his burst damage and devolve/ evolves.Good stuff, but do you think he’s a good champion currentlyMy point is that the burst damage is the damage increase within the field, he doesnt need an additional one he just needs the one he has to be stronger.He already gains burst increase on it's Awakening and his attacks itself are very weak, for the evolutionary Aspect i made after every 5 seconds exacly because of thatHe already has the burst damage within the field, I think that being increased based on debuffs would be better than adding an attack increase on top. I would also say that gaining the devolved when staying in the field would probably be a little too much considering it's pretty hard to get out of if you're attacking against him. Them being gained when entering the field would be fine if the potency of them were increased imo.His evolve/devolve mechanic is too weak. 16% at max is basically nothing and definitely not worth all that effort for 1 fight.i usually try the character myself and take some notes,but due to High evolutionary Arena not here yeat i had to base in other people gameplay and some suggestions
I was lucky enough to get the 7 star from a store crystal. He needs more oomph on attack and he's less than impressive as a defender unless you have no idea what he can do at all. Too bad he won't get tweaked either way until 2027 with how slow these balance batches are.
Adding the evolve passives as a cross-fight for him (as an attacker only) like the devolves are for the opponent and capping them at 20 or 25 would have made a world of difference to his value.
I have some suggestions here and would like to hear the toughts of someone who already has the character at higher level
For aspect of evolution i suggest changing to 2% the debuff version and changing to 2-4% based on sig level the buff version,the difference is that the buff version is grant to you every 5 seconds you stay in the evolutionary field
Both still max of 10, i tought on this for longer fights that you would control regurlarly
from outside the Awakening i tought about the evolutionary field give you certain attack rating % based on how many debuffs the opponent have, i don't know a exact number but i tought about 100% since it's max of 20 debuffs he can stack, 10 cruelty and 10 whitter

On offense I like to back up and place the field a tiny bit away from the wall which means you can just keep knocking them out and they dash back in to build them up quicker
(Just checked while writing a d the field gives 34% burst,weird number and does help much because his attacks are very weak, the field is 12 second but considering it get 75% slower while you are there it can be over double of the time depeding on the AI)
Also the reason why i increase the bonus you get based on sig level,technically it's worse to get than the original but the bonuses are stronger
i still working on it because theres also someone numbers to change
Getting them in and out of the field effectively is part of the skill of playing him, it's not incredibly satisfying right now but if they buffed the effects of evolved it would be. Inflicting devolved while in the field would be overkill on defense and would essentially give you 10 within 1 cycle which at that point why not just give you all of them when they're in the field. As someone that's played him a fair bit since i pulled him last week, the problem isn't building the charges it's them not being that strong which is what a buff should change.
I agree that the burst damage while in the field and possibly even the bonus he gets from his sig on top of that should be increased, but there's nothing inherently wrong with his kit or loop that needs changing he just needs a numbers bump and maybe a way to run down the combo detonation timer quicker like brb
I like his loop, got me a fair few wins in bgs on defense, still waiting for the dupe to really see what he can do but generally I would say that even though i would still use him if he didn't get buffed I would like to see him get one. I think he's in an interesting spot where his defensive kit and offensive kit are pretty separate so buffing his offense wouldn't make him s nightmare on defense as far as I can see, so giving him a bit of a buff would be easier than someone like zola for example
