The way it's supposed to work is that you aren't supposed to be able to contribute anything prior to the timer expiring. However, the way it has worked this year, you just need to open at least one more crystal after the timer expires and you will be able to claim everything you have contributed to since the beginning.
Am I crazy for this plan?
I’m thinking of just going balls to the walls grinding the arena over the next few months to save up 20k units to get the missing pieces of the deathless so I can get the deathless Thanos. Especially since there’s nothing else to really spend units on until 4th of July. What do you guys think?

Hey sorry if this was already answered but does the dupe for isophene not give you any titan shards? I needed one more dupe to open a titan and saw that I didn’t get any.

Kabam,Did you notice there’s nothing left to get after hitting the top milestones in Solo and Alliance events? It’s the same with the Realm event—it has an endpoint too. But at least the stretch rewards in the Realm event are a nice bonus, letting everyone keep earning something even after the top milestone. That’s not the case with the Solo event, where it just stops.
We have exceeded your expectations with the banquet. Why would deter us from buying more crystals by making the next set of rewards crappy 1k titan shards? Why not motivate us to keep going with titan nexus crystals? 5 days left. Add another set of web store deals please !

In thread after thread people have complained about the Realm Event milestone rewards, and specifically about the crystals added to them because "only whales can reach them".
I'm just curious what people think makes one a whale. More specifically, how much spending in the Banquet event alone would make one a whale, thus opening up the top milestones?
I'm not asking for the math. I'm asking what is in peoples' minds when they talk about whales and Realm Event milestones.

I did a completion pass with a 6*R4A Aegon at sig 100 but I’d focus on exploring Act 8/9 today over Necro. Necro is a multi hour commitment and takes 100ish revives give or take 30 or so depending on skill/stamina. Act 8/9 can be broken up and gives a lot of other nice rewards on top of the R3 materials.
Which Arena Crystal Pays out more?
So I’m about to cash in 365 days or since January 1 every single arena battlechip I have earned for the whole year 8.5millon collected throughout the year… all my time all my sweat all my Monday through Friday holidays free time in between time

Just say the word.As someone who just became Valiant, this is one of the only events in the game whose rewards are not progression based. Paragon rewards are so much less in comparison and TB rewards are even more of a pittance. Let Banquet be the exception. It always has been the great equalizer, during the holidays, where spending gets you the rewards you want. As I remind my kids, other people getting stuff does not hurt you. At the end of the event, non-Valiants will have a few stronger champs, but they'll still have **** rewards the rest of the year.Name one valiant exclusive event, and if the rewards were really what valiants needed. Non valiants getting good rewards isn’t the point. It’s valiants getting bad rewards that are good rewards for non valiants. It doesn’t feel right that they treat tb and paragons as kings while treating valiants as trash.
I don’t care if tb gets good stuff. I just care why valiants don’t.
You asked why Kabam doesn’t make things that only Valiants can get. Off the top of my head here are the things only Valiants have access to:
Valiant monthly EQ difficulty and rewards
Season of Suffering Valiant objectives and milestone rewards
Valiant Daily Crystal (webstore)
Valiant Super Daily Event rewards
Valiant tier pricing and offers in in-game stores (i.e. Traders Output, Glory store, etc)
Refined XP and progression beyond level 60
One thing didn’t have a Valiant-specific reward, and it was a spending event that focuses on spending, not progression. It would have been nice for the rewards to be more progression-sensitive, but that doesn’t suddenly make Valiant players a neglected class of players.

February 14: Captain America: Brave New World opens. Even money there's a tie-in event. Only evens, though, because we got Leader and Patriot when the film was originally supposed to open. Could still get Falcon/Torres and someone else, though, I guess.
