Twitch Drops and Kabam ID
Greetings Summoners,
Thank you to those who tuned in to our special PC Launch Livestream yesterday. We hope you are enjoying the brand new way to play MCOC!
While some viewers were able to receive Twitch Drops without issue, we have heard from a number of you that were able to either receive Twitch Drops only in part or not at all. We are speaking with our engineers and believe there are two separate issues here.
The first issue, causing a partial delivery of rewards, is something they are looking into and that we will update you on as soon as we learn more.
For the second issue, we believe we know the cause faced by those who claimed their Twitch Drops but did not receive them in game, and have a fix for it going forward.
While everyone who watches the livestreams is able to earn the drops through Twitch, claiming them requires connecting your Kabam ID to your Twitch Account. In speaking with our engineers this is the more common reason we’re seeing for claims that don’t reward in game.
As you can see, this account was able to earn the drops, but was not connected to Kabam ID
If you haven’t connected your account, you can do that here: https://kid.kabam.com/v1/kid/account/login
This will also show you what connections you currently have active if you need to verify!
A successful login/connection should have your account management page look like this with Twitch an active connection with your Kabam ID. This needs to be done before claiming drops.
Going forward we will be sure to post instructions and reminders to check your Kabam Id connection status prior to the stream to ensure everyone is able to receive rewards.
On Kabam Dork’s personal account, he was able to earn the drops and they showed up in the game a few moments later without issue with a connected Kabam ID account. We know this is not the case for everyone, but we want to be clear that the Twitch Drops system is functioning, there's just some bumps we are ironing out.

A big key we found in the investigation was for people to make sure their Kabam ID accounts were connected before claiming drops. While this isn't the sole cause, it definitely was a large portion of cases. Unfortunately when things break, there isn't always an easy fix and isn't always something to say immediately to resolve the issues as quickly as I would like. All that said, I want to extend a massive thank you and appreciation for all of the patience and understanding shown through this episode.

1 week account update. The starter xp boost just ran out. I was speed running story to get the most out of it.

If you want mega overkill Starky is a fantastic one, best BG attacker in the game too imoCompletely unwanted unless you wanna take r4 bullseye

I like my r4 peni. Sync shield is nice for not taking chip damage while blocking, incinerate is not a common immunity, and it is even rarer for a champion to be both incinerate and shock immune, so you can always bring Iron Doom along for his synergy. She is decent on defense as long as the opponent doesn't have Galan or Gorr. She is also a pretty good counter to all the new r4 Nick Furies running around.
