I know we’re several months out from the necro carina’s challenges, but due to my poor luck with certain champ acquisitions (no serpent), I had held off on this challenge and the dimensional beings challenge. However, I recently got and ranked up Angela, and she was the final piece I needed in order to do this challenge. So here is my experience with this challenge without serpent, and hopefully this is helpful for those of us who do not have the big bad serpent.

The Team:
R3 Angela (duped) - Main clearer
R1 Odin
R3 Enchantress
R5 ascended Abs man - Airwalker and vision
R2 Hulk - Wiccan melter

Titania: This fight is always a bit of a challenge for me, but because it was the first fight, I only had to use two revives on her, using Angela with Odin buffs.

Vision Aarkus: One revive with abs man. I think if you have abs man and some other big damage dealer (Odin, serpent, or Angela) you can do almost every fight in this path solo. Abs man destroys this fight with a few sp3s in magma form. The numbers I was getting were ridiculous

Omega Sentinel: Angela solo. This was an incredible fight with Angela. She totally shuts down every aspect of the defender and the nodes. Any auto block counter will do well here

Airwalker: Abs man solo. This fight always scares me, due to what air walker can do to you if you let him get his persistent charges. But man if you consistently knock airwalker down with abs man, this can be a 3-5 minute fight that you feel completely in control of.

Captain Britain: 4 revives with Angela. This is where the path started to get tougher. I am not the best with reverse controls, and those revives were absolute skill issue revives. This fight isn’t too bad if you keep your head and stay wary of the reverse controls

Wiccan: 5 revives with hulk. Due to my account lacking Titania, I think hulk was the best play. I played around with hulk’s stun lock and just did as much damage as I can without letting Wiccan throw an Sp1, more revives, but faster.

Psycho-Man: 1 revive with Angela. Man I love this champ, so simple and can output so much damage. Fulfill the prompts, spam sp1s, and win the video game.

TLDR, You can do this challenge without Serpent (though he definitely makes it easier), and this was definitely the second easiest necro challenge. I really hope this helps anyone who still has to do this challenge, good luck!!

Yesterday, Karate Mike made the claim that the game is not ready for a 7* Hulkling, which caught me by surprise since Mike is a well reknowned BGs player so is obviously in loop on competitive game modes and that there already are champs more broken than Hulkling in the game.

We have D. Thanos, Serpent, Juggernaut etc.

Hulkling is not a long form content champ unlike for example Kate.

On defense he has a ton more counters nowadays, especially compared to other dual threat champs like Medusa , in fact you don't even need a mystic to fight him.

Champs like Onslaught are not only a potent dual threat but have tremendous use in other games including Long Form Content.

Tigra who ALREADY IS in the crystal is even more broken than Hulkling, as echoed by several on the forums. She's not shut down by as many nodes as Juggernaut, and takes on a myriad of defenders, including Serpent, D Thanos, Thing, Kindred, Red Skull, Zola, Nick Fury, Sentinel.



This Screenshot is against a rank 4 Red SKull so she is literally punching up 2 ranks, and all it took was a single sp2. So just imagine a rank 4 sig 200 where only a single sp2 will nuke even the tankier defenders. Majority of the people living under a cave think she's fine to release since she has a high skill ceiling, but even Trappy said the skill requirement in BGs is significantly less in a video where he agreed shed be too OP as a 7*.

We can all see the retaliation in regards to the exclusive 36k unit paywalled Dark Phoenix, we get that the company needs to make money, so EVEN IF you guys thought Hulkling was too strong to be a 7*, you could have at least put Galan in the crystal and put a different champ in his place for the Titan.

Alternatively, the other option could have been to just put Dark Phoenix within the crystal as if you're only interested in say 3 of the 5 champs, and you manage to pull them early on, you still have to drop loads of units to get her.

July 4 which many argue will benefit a player overall more , already has a 36k spend for the chase champ, so having this one also require 36k just seems like a slap to the face. At least, Hulkling could have made the spend more worth it as with 6 champs in the crystal, now youll be more inclined to spend more units and end up closer to the 36k for Phoenix . Especially since Apoc won't be starting with extra charges in BGs

As for your planning, I didn't have DL Shehulk, so I had to go without here. From all the studying and videos I saw, she is perfect for the boss fight so no need for an avenger. I think McocNOOB has a good video showcasing her in that fight and across the gauntlet.

Second, and I hate to say this as I don't like Onslaught's playstyle, but Onslaught was a HUGE help for the Ordeal. Most of my solos were off him and pretty much any fight I wasn't sure about, he could take fairly easily.

FWIW my team was Onslaught r3, Serpent r3, Sandman r3, Omega Sentinel r2, and Medusa r3.
