Re: SOLVARCH - The First Cool Looking Idol Champ
The eidols all look AI designed, ngl.
Like someone prompted chatgtp to create an MCOC champ that combines elements of all the other champs.

Re: BGS are not enjoyable
Just lends more credence to the “do they even play their own game” argument.

Re: Has anyone watched Fantastic Four: First Steps yet?
Just got done watching it and man, I thought it was gonna be good but it was easy better than I expected. Feels like an actual film with a vision behind it, the pacing is better than anything the mcu has done in years and the cg and visual design was outstanding. They absolutely nailed the character and their chemistry and galactus and the surfer are so well done
Re: Zemo !!!!!!
HEY I didn't say he's coming as a 7 Star...Oh, come on. We'll pretend you fixed one of Zemo's bugs... a year and a half after he was discovered. Obviously, it's because you remembered he looks good in purple.
I just said he looks good in purple...

Re: Please explain the thought behind this Kabam
So couple of things here, first as others have said this is another experiment, like force recruitment, trying out new and novel ways to make interesting limited time content like our side quests which pretty much everyone agrees had gotten a bit stale/boring. So gotta try out new things and tweak and improve. As for dev resources, the nice thing about these two new modes is that the impact was relatively minor and just not having them would not have impacted the issues in other modes the way you might think. Its not a one to one stop doing this and focus on that. But if that's the case and these are 'new and exciting' versions of EQ,SQ then why is it so heavily monetised?
Ultimately the core of MCOC is a game we love and we're not moving away from it, we just want to add fun new ways to engage with the game in addition to that core.
This doom bot thing has one shot a day unless just spend straight up monies to go again? And there's zero skill, I couldn't get through quest 4 because I'm champion died so now I do nothing with it that's just boring
And there's zero chance whoever wins these High Evolutionary are free to play, saw one guy spend 300 energy refills.
Both game modes require money to play, that's not EQ or SQ and never has been so what's the plan?

Its not a one to one stop doing this and focus on that.I’ve really been enjoying these side games that have out of the ordinary mechanics to them. Dimensional Arcade especially brings me back to the flash games I used to play while pretending like I was paying attention in class.

I do think that it seems over-aggressively monetized. To get all of the rewards, you need to clear the story (8 entry tokens) and clear shatter mode 25 times (25 more entry tokens). That’s a total of 33. The tokens refresh every 24 hours. Is that three per day or only one? If it’s three, that’s not terrible. If it’s only one… that’s not good.
I discovered the hard way that it is extremely easy to accidentally exit mid run because of the big X button on the top of the screen. There also needs to be a way to review the perks you’ve picked up mid run. I took one that gave me a “random rare drop,” but I had no way of learning what that drop was. Not ideal.
Anyway, I really enjoy it. I could see myself sinking real time into a silly mode like this. But it’s got a *lot* of rough edges right now in need of smoothing.
Re: Is Battlegrounds dying?
GC isn’t full because they put summoner fest points in the objectives to win matches so people would rather stay in VT for as long as possible for an easy ride
Re: Arcade Rewards Are Kinda Insane
Can't compare it to permanent content. What do you mean since when? Were you not here for Necropolis Epoch Ordeal etc?Rewards have always been insane depending on the effort the quest or mode required you to put in. Why are you acting like this is an entirely new concept when that's how the game has always been. Crazy rewards (until recently) always required a good amount of effort compared to the boring walk in the park this new game mode is.When did “effort” become the main barometer? It’s a time wasting endeavor whose sole purpose is to make you waste phone battery and MCOC time allotment. Why not just have the phone display “Kabam is the Best gaming company ever!” In neon flashing colors for 15 -20 minutes a day…. And get great rewards! We would have forum posts about how everyone should just quit complaining because “look at those sweet rewards!”Nobody is justifying anything, you can dislike the game mode but those rewards are insane for the effort required. How many game modes give you a full Titan and two 7* in a single monthly cycle? None not even BGs.I won't make any comments on the game mode itself because I am a little biased since this particular style of game is the type I used to play on my phones when I was growing up, but I will agree the rewards are insane for the amount of effort required and I'm surprised your post has so many disagrees lol.the gamemode is just 💩 no sugar coating it, stop trying to justify it because it’ll only get worse if we keep enabling it.
We're getting: 3.6M gold, 825 units, one Titan, two 7*s and a couple Doombots for what 5-10 bucks give or take? If this turns into a monthly thing then I really don't get how people could be complaining this much considering how easy the game mode is.
And again, you can dislike the game mode all you want that's not what I'm arguing here, the argument here is the rewards are insane for the effort required and that is a fact. I don't care if you like the game mode or not that's your opinion, doesn't change the fact the rewards are crazy for such low effort and personally I'm more than happy to autoplay the whole thing for them even if it gets boring and repetitive lol.
Two Genuine Issues:
Daily play requirement. (Mistakes will cost)
Temporary timed content.
3rd is only personal. Mandatory chase tokens involvement (limited time currency).
