Re: How expensive do you think 7* Magik will be?
It doesn't sit well with anyone. What kabams been doing has been extremely negative from the player pov*looks at human torch*Certainly can’t argue with that. The “What it costs” by Kabam has grown so exponentially and at such a rapid rate, as of late, that I’m finding my interest diminishing at an almost equal rate.
If you expected differently at this point i really dont know what to tell you man. Prepare to be let down by whatever they announce and thay way it'll only feel slightly bad when it turns out worse than that
The first champ I ever earned in arenas was a 3* (yes, you read that right. 3*) Magik. So after all this waiting for a 6* or 7* version of her; the news of “the cost” did not set well with me.

What about “the maker” release
what do you guys think about “ the maker “ being released right when jean grey has been in the titanpul for less than 3 weeks and he seems to be fully countering her with neuro and reversed control immunity... honestly i think kabam is releasing counters for certain champs way too fast so what's the point of ranking her then. at least they can let us enjoy our new champs for a while and benefit from them.
Bcus lot of people gonna buy the early deals for him

Re: How expensive do you think 7* Magik will be?
One might have to sell his house in order to buy one Magik piece. 😅
Re: How expensive do you think 7* Magik will be?
The purpose of including Magik in the store is to create a chase for players earning huge amounts of Radiance. Until we get more data I can't say how much it will cost (we still haven't had a non-borked Battlegrounds season). I'm confidence though that it will be a lot more than 250k, given players in top alliances earn way more than that every month. Won't be all at once though, players will gather pieces over time. When you created Radiance and planned out how it would be acquired, wouldn’t you extrapolate how much could be earned at multiple progression levels over an amount of time to determine the best amounts to reward per event to keep it under control? Given that premise, shouldn’t you already know how much an appropriate amount would be for a “chase” champ like Magik?

Re: Battlecast Shard to Statcast Shard
I think k we understand the reason for Kabam’s concern but it doesn’t take away from the feeling that this was poorly planned and executed. The dev diary provides helpful context but it still seems like a transition of some sort would have been possible rather than simply shutting off battlecast releases, continuing to give antiquated rewards and then dropping a whole new system. Is it necessary to introduce 60 stat casts at one time? Seems kind of crazy, tbh. Introducing them four or six at a time would have allowed us to use common shards for battle- and stat casts and would have prevented those of us with hundreds of thousands of shards from snapping up 60 stat casts at one time.Nah seriously How long has Kabam been giving this pretty much discontinued before announcement items as rewards?Battlecast Shards are not discontinued. They'll still be available to obtain going forward, not every player has all the current Relics - and all Rank Up Materials earned can be utilized by both forms of Relics.
Every realm event, every BG season before switching to radiance, bunch of SQ and EQ rewards... All this time padding rewards with something that had no intention other that being discontinued at announcement.
What a load of ****.
The delta between players' hoarded battlecast shards is too large to responsibly launch a new resource utilizing those Shards.
I've had them all for years, and my shard stash is gigantic - I would love it as a player if they shared the same shard source. For many reasons, it wouldn't make sense.
Re: Battlecast Shard to Statcast Shard
Could you explain to me how it's possibly not?Are you seriously asking me to criticize objetively? You are the company man trying to push the story of fixing BG rewards that were criticized by a lot players with Radiance that was introduced 2 months ago. How is that objectively from your side?Yes, and Radiance fixed the problem of the poor Battlegrounds Rewards, which you pointed out.I like how I said over 2 years and your answer is something that was released 2 months ago. When was the last relic released?Shoutout to Radiance, amirightThere were essentially two options at this time:If relics never took away from anything else, the rewards for BGs for over 2 years were worse than I thought they were.
- We release new Statcasts with new Shards
- We don't release more Relics
Relic materials have always had their own reward budget and never took away from anything else.We found out today that 4/5 items can be used on Statcast, see how time is a very important part of the equation? The Reliquary comes with 7 items. The fact that kabam sold crystals last week (and still are) that are worthless in a month as they “have no plans to make any more battlecasts”. Classic bait and switchAny one that spent $100 buying a Reliquary that genuinely thought they would be able to use them on Statcasts is a fool.
Units, as per the usual Odin - bonus gold...
And then 5 relic-based materials.
4 out of 5 of these Relic items can be used on Statcast Relics.
Why are we pretending like Relics were the only rewards in Battlegrounds for 2 years?
Criticize everything you want to, but do so objectively.
Do you think anybody would have bought the reliquary deal had thet known this? Do you think they would have used 4/5 mats on relics instead of saving them for statcasts?
Can you objectively answer those questions as a former player and not an employee?
Radiance, quite literally, fixed the main issue about Battlegrounds rewards.
Enough with the "company man" stuff, dude. I'm sitting here at 3 am my time - way way way way WAY past my work hours having this discussion with you. If you're not going to be respectful, I won't continue.
Do I think anybody would have bought a relic deal consisting of 3,000+ units and 2>3 gems that can be used on the new relics? Yes.
I understand you're upset that Statcasts are using different Shard sources, but you're funneling your anger in the wrong direction.
Re: What to expect with Mysterium store update?
Probably give atleast 4 t6 basic and 4 t3 alpha in both chest costing 26k mystrium so in total you can collect 8 t6 basic and 8 t3 alpha every week and honestly it will definitely make the difference now and after update
Also definitely new relic shards with old shards in more amount
