It's not absolutely essential, though.you mind elaborating on that mr wisdom? would you rather I spend thousands of dollars when i could have very well switched alliances, participated in raids and reached the last milestones had I been informed prior?
why dont you lay out a spreadsheet and see where you land on the milestones without a single point from raids?

New Whale Emote?
So am I correct in assuming that people are going to use this emote whenever they face an account larger than theirs and want to express how they think the other player is a whale?

The summoner's fest event has almost a third of its points in Raids.
Why didn't the team communicate this info earlier considering the optional nature of nightmare raids??
They are certainly aware that not all alliances do raid, much less Nightmare raids. If participating in raids was absolutely essential why didn't they announce it prior to the event such as to allow summoners to switch alliances or join one.
Instead they just stayed radio silent on the topic, they let the raid week roll out like normal.
Im not even complaining about the huge dependency on raids, I'm literally asking why were we not informed in advance when the best rewards are completely unattainable without raids.

Further Update (RAIDS, etc)
Greetings Summoners,
As of now, the Team has implemented a fix for the issues impacting Sasquatch and Rintrah in Nightmare Raids.
Further, some of the fixes from yesterday had knock-on issues that were cleaned up this afternoon (Nova & the Degen in the AW Showcase), and everything on the above list should now be fully sorted.
While we have a short-term fix for the AW Showcase, until Update 52.0, anywhere else that the Attacker can put a Degen from a node on a Defender who has a Degen in their base kit is still going to be bugged.
We're working on getting a Raids compensation out to you by tomorrow.
We're sorry for these issues, and appreciate your patience while we sorted all of this out.

Then I guess I don’t understand what summoner fest is supposed to be about. I guess I mistakenly assumed that an event called summoner fest was going to be about celebrating summoners and letting people earn points from just playing the game. Instead it seems pointless and just to remind everyone that if you aren’t valiant and doing nightmare raids, you don’t matter.So if the max total earnable points is 300,000. I have two questions:The "Legends Event?"
1) Why is the max rewards only achievable to players that can do valiant EQ and Nightmare Raids? I thought this was meant to be the annual summoner appreciation event but this seems pretty exclusive for the realm event rewards.

It's awful. I'm not even gonna do it this month.Agreed 200%. After a long year and half, some challenging Monthly content, the rewards are great too!
Val EQ was one of the few good recent additions to the game, why change it? I get if they want to spice things up down the line and refresh the setup, but it's only been like 2 months, really???
