Once raids info was available I saw that immediately. Vanguard champions just do not have any built-in miss counter. Other roles have at least one (Jean / Serpent).

As my role always was Vanguard, but at the same time I was earning the most points and was defeating most annoying defenders on the map, I made a deal with Assault player and I took Jean.
That way we handled issue in our small group of 3 for me not having good champion to fight, but having ability to do that.

As for Lumatrix and Vanguards, the only thing you can do is to build some charges for other roles. Slowly but surely. I hope your battlegroup has some built-in miss counters, so they will be able to destroy this perfectly balanced 3 out of 5 easy defender.

IMO Vanguard now is the weakest role.
Also, Kabam kept Gentle on the map which is ridiculous. He shuts down half of the role boosts because they have crit rate. They reduced time for his anti-crit phase, but it is a **** as this ability does not have a cooldown.
Best role boosts, if you would like not to struggle on Gentle, is to choose role boost without crit rate.

Yeah it’s a lot of wins at just 70 points in VT one would need 71 WINS just to hit 5k points (not possible of course),..leads me to believe that the language of bonus for using elder marks was intentional.

Especially because they text the words BONUS in caps and exclamation marks after Elder marks!! 😂

I won my first 2 Bg matches honestly,..but then who cares.

Victory track is a short run starting from diamond, and then imagine the matchmaking times in GC where you have to wait a minuet or more to even get a match?

Pffft,…forget all that,..and Kabams game is seriously messed anyways,..the amount of game freezing and lagbright off the hop at the start of a bg match RN is disgusting,…so you do it your way and i’ll do it mine.

Nowhere in the TOS does it say i can’t use my wonderful 2 stars in BG’s

We ban cheaters in Battlegrounds every day, unfortunately there isn't a way to ban them before they cheat

Most of the folks on this thread are talking about the actual issues in the game. You are talking about the talking that’s happening in the forum. Why participate in a thread when you have nothing to offer than “that’s just the way it is.” Why bother saying that? The whole point of the discussion is that people aren’t satisfied with the ways things currently are and it can be gratifying to imagine something different.

Yeah, that's the thing though. People don't adapt. If you take away Onslaught, Gentle, Jean, and Captain Britain. Then there are no counters to Yelena. They release more counters to defenders after they come out. It's in the video you didn't watch yet feel the need to comment on.

I find this line of reasoning to be pretty silly. Poor Kabam designers… players adapt to their challenges and raise their skill cap in response… what can they do but build unfair mechanics in response?

Really? That’s the only option? Nah, that’s just the laziest option. Kinda like making a check list of attacker abilities and building a laundry list defender kit to counter them. They created the loop, no sympathy here.

Maybe design new abilities that change the paradigm like Karolina and her interaction with sunshine. Explore actual new design space… what a concept!

I would personally just give him a numbers buff if I were to give one but he’s not bad at wasting time imo
