Re: Is scream a solid r3 option?
Definitely worth an R3. She is somewhat overshadowed by Medusa for some reason (maybe because they both have long hair?) but I feel like she has enough unique things in her kit that both are worth an R3. She’s not quite as easy as Medusa to get full effectiveness from but close. I’d recommend Simula’s video on how to use her - it is really great. Important to get down how to use her auto block to ramp her quickly.I think the medusa connection is kinda fair. They came out in the same month, both have similar animations attack wise, both autoblock, focus on armor break and bleed, both have autoblock counters etc. I think they do different things but it's probably the most appropriate comparison we've had in a while lmao

Re: One-Off Stat Focuses
There are also some champs that have absolutely abysmal crit chance, where even the small increase you get from stat focus can basically double their chance to land critical hits. With Sandman, you go from 6.4% to 12%. He still won't be a crit god but it does way more for him than for a lot of other characters. Rintrah isn't quite as bad but since he relies so much on crits for his SP2 to truly nuke the opponent down, it's still worth speccing into.
Then there are some champs whose disadvantages can be remedied with a quick stat focus switch-up. I like to give certain mystic champions some physical resistance (like Spidey Supreme or Wiccan) or just block proficiency (Mojo), since they can be rather squishy and often have either negative or at least low values there.
On the defensive side, I sometimes like to spec into certain resistances if I know that whoever fights that champ will most likely use a particular type of damage. Prime example is Onslaught. It's a really bad idea to fight him with champs that do most kinds of energy DOT, so chances are pretty high that your opponent will chose someone who deals physical damage instead. That alone would make it a good idea to boost up Onslaught's physical resistance, but the fact that he has a slight deficiency in that department makes it an even better idea. It's only a slight deficiency at -5,6%, but speccing into it and having +3,2% physical resistance is still better than a negative score in the type of resistance that your opponent will most likely use against them.
Overall, I've begun to spec into resistances quite a lot. Unless I know that someone is going to throw a lot of specials that the opponent will have to block (such as Bullseye or Serpent), I sort of work under the assumption that my opponent will just dex most attacks and that it's therefore somewhat pointless to go for block penetration and stats like that. Giving an annoying defender an 18% resistance to either physical or energy damage will instead stall the fight more consistently.

Re: Team recommendation for the Ordeal
Bring a decent counter for Sasquatch and mojo, to deal with the regen and degen,..i used Nefaria.
Re: Guesses for the next four months champs
Ngl idk if this is confirmed yet but to me that looks like Speed (Thomas Shepard), the brother of Wiccan and second to last original Young Avengers member to add with Iron Lad being the other one.

Re: One-Off Stat Focuses
I'm pretty sure people run Block Proficiency on Spot too as the way to ramp him is to take hits into his portal which usually means you're taking a few hits into your block before or after the portal is up
Re: One-Off Stat Focuses
I was trying to test which stat focus was better for the duration of Peni's shield a while back, it was tough to do so properly but Block Proficiency and Armour both helped. I edged it to Armour rating eventually though as this helps her when she's taking hits outside of the block too.
