As far as I’m aware, over the last several years, they don’t respond to you unless your application is accepted (which is not necessarily immediate, or even soon, as Pikolu mentioned). Not receiving a notice of rejection, or similar correspondence, is standard (nothing to do with you specifically). Meeting the base criteria for applying also isn’t an auto-acceptance, a lot more people apply than are let in.
Infinite power interaction with Count Nefaria
So, I just found a fun interaction, which I think is a bug with Count Nefaria's "Ionic overcharge" ability to gain power when it's denied to his opponent.
If it's not a bug, then it's one heck of an ability...
I just took Attuma through the Paragon Gauntlet because he's great for Red Skull, and I assumed that he'd be great for Nefaria, too, since Attuma goes Unstoppable and gains Power when the opponent Evades. Nefaria has an Evade-when-stunned node, and no other particularly significant nodes.
Since punishing Evades with Unstoppable is literally called out in Nefaria's "weaknesses" section, on his champion page, I thought it would be an easy, effective strategy.

Sideswipe from Revenge of the Fallen and his third special has to be how he killed Sideways: flipping over him, shooting a blade into him and then bisecting him.

Realistically (as it's been done in a crossover event) would be Invincible.
Wider scope for any characters at all, I'd have to pick Sage Mode Naruto.

The ability of the Black Panther relic to enhance Bullseye's damage is overlooked: it might not appear massive, but it enhances literally every hit he lands.

- Winter Soldier relic on Misty Knight (boosts Coldsnap Potency and duration, and let's you refresh it - huge impact on her rotation)
- Gambit relic on Namor (as if his damage wasn't crazy enough!)
- Hulk relic on Overseer
- Venom relic on Gorr
- Spidey-2099 on Miles Morales (immunity to Dex precision? Thank you!)
