For those that want to read crashes statement about last year

Ooooh thanks for this....transparent reminder of how Kabam thinks.

So I take 3 things from this:

1. The greater, highly anticipated rewards are (supposed to be) kept behind tough content to encourage lower tier players to push for progression right? And the event isn't tailored to progession levels, but the lower tiers end up getting good rewards bc they just happen to be good for their accounts. This seems like a contradiction. Especially with the current banquet. If this is the case, then where's the incentive for them to push for progression for Acts 8 and 9? Why would they think about progressing if they're already getting great rewards from banquet, and in turn are able to stack their accounts from it?

2. The crystals are admittedly trash, and basically we shouldn't be financially participating in an event where we're going to get horrible rewards lol

3. We can expect a response around Jan. 4th 😆

Point one is the main focus of that if no progression lock on events then nothing should have a lock stores eq it might aswell be all unlocked from start since its meaningless at this point

All of game design (or any design really) is about compromises. The term “game balance” itself refers to compromises between competing requirements. If you believe everything is all or nothing you can’t be a game designer, or for that matter have any meaningful conversation with game designers. As a designer of stuff myself, whenever someone says “well, if you do this here you have to do this everywhere or you’re just a hypocrite” that’s the point where I check out of the conversation as having no point to continuing.

Yeah but like its more the fact if this event is giving r3s instead of progressing whats the point of having things progress locked if they can just wait u know, like if we gonna have locked progress stuff then like banquet does also need to have a progress lock because otherwise people wont bother progressing the game, as we seen people who arent even tb nor paragon has 7 r2s 5 full 7s.

See the nice thing about those people getting r3s 7* is they still have to complete the content to be valiant. Having those r3s aren't gonna do em any favors without actually doing the content too unlike thronebreaker now.

I'm still confused on who "Grinded their Assets off"? Valiant is just as easy as the other titles to get.

If you're genuinely confused, then I'll explain it to you. Getting Valiant is easy NOW. When the title was first released nearly a year ago, it was no "easy" task. Myself and others had to do Necropolis and Act 8.4 to get get our rank 3 mats to get the title. We had to put in work.

Before we could even do that, we had to grind for revives and health potions before the revive farm was nerfed. Necro was more difficult for those who didn't have the ideal champs. Keep in mind too, that easy is subjective and may not mean the same for everyone. Getting the title was easy-ish for some, but more difficult for others.

If TB's are getting enough strong resources to get them an insane amount of r3's for their accounts, then Valiants should have gotten the same respect with enough resources for at least 3 r4's.

We deserve to continue to get the highest rewards from having the Valiant title. But instead, we got the lesser rewards and pretty much was left out in the cold.
