Kabam definately needs to rethink their fix for this. Everyone should have the same exact rewards for completing the same quest. No matter how quickly or long you take. The game was exploited and Kabam will do nothing to the whales once again.
This is just Kabam being lazy and not wanting to do the work to fix the rosters. Which is sad. Same reason they won’t ban known pilots permanently because these are the big spenders for them! I absolutely would’ve spent the money to 100% if I could’ve had 3 gems to use on anyone!! And if I had, I would’ve expected it to be fixed the right way, not just allowed to keep an obvious exploit that makes these rosters soooo much more powerful than they should be!! Which is exactly why YOU KABAM wanted them used on older champs in the first place!! But never mind just keep being lazy and let the spenders get away with whatever they want!
BUMP THIS. Kabam keeps screwing players over. Do not tolerate this. Give us what the people who abused it got. You guys consistently put new content thats bugged and now your only solution is changing the gem? Everyone would of finished this quest if we knew it was bugged.
May I suggest a proper fix, for everyone who finished early before the bug fix gets to keep their non 2015 rank up gems, plus they get additional 2015 rank up gems as per original rewards. For all other players who complete the quest after the fix, they get the 2015 rank up gems + the non 2015 rank up gems that early finishers got also. Simple fix everyone is happy, this is a kabam mess up after all.
Really lost motivation to finish this quest now. No point when I won’t get the same rewards as the ones that already 100% it. Talk about permanent content yeah whatever
Isn't exploiting a bug a call for a ban? They knew that it was supposed to be 2015 only and still did it. They should get the champ reverse and catch a ban. It's bs that people get to keep them with no consequences

I wouldn’t expect it to be handled any other way though. Smdh. Between this and the debauchery is seasons it might finally be time to retire after 3 1/2 years of this rat race.

This is very confusing desicion. You have choosen to allow people who in all honestly are probably already getting better rewards every week\month than everyone to rank up any champs due to an error of what rewards were given but have now changed it so that when the rest of us are able to beat it, we now get less from it? How is it at all fair to any other summons who didnt go nuts and finish within first day to get less rewards than the rest. If there was a bonus stated before hand that if you did finish fast or within a set time for better rewards like a legends run sort of thing them thats fine. But this was an error that you are allowing to benefit some players rather than others? Where or when is that the way you want your gamw to be known for doing?
I don't understand how Kabam thinks. There always seems to be an advantage given to players who finish things first and then those that want to take their time get punished. Examples are: The Unstoppable Colossus bug that was fixed in LOL. This month's quest where The Champion was granting Danger Sense to Blade (since fixed). Now, you expect the community to roll over and allow early finishes of the Ultron Challenge to have better rewards than those trying to be patient? How is any of this fair? Kabam needs to do the right thing and just change the rewards to what was already given to those that completed.
The only way they can fix this is by not fixing it, and let everyone have the same opportunity as everyone else that exploited this. Those people should have the same punishment as everyone who done the exploit in the past. This is practically an exploit that your not addressing to the summoners who knew this, everyone knew it was for 2015 champs and they still used it on their new champs without telling anyone.

The being lazy argument is easy to buy into but I don’t believe it’s accurate. Kabam reversed multiple exploits during the beta testing that was done to fix the overheating phones issue. I don’t think we’ve heard anything on this yet because it’s the weekend. No way to know if I’m right though.
Kabam, are there any players who could have benefitted from the glitch who didn’t exploit it? Because to be coherent, you should then rank down their 2015 4/55 champ and allow them to rank up a newer champ, like the other players did.
And for that matter, it’s the first variant quest, you can make it a gem that covers all the years the game has been out. Fix it for the second back issue event quest. Heck, make that one a 2015 gem.

Kabam, you really need to rank down the champs who the gems were used on and make the players rank 2015 champs like the gems were intended. This glitch was your fault and you need to fix it. It is not fair to the rest of the community to let this go as is.

Either revert those who used the exploit and not give them back iso/gold or add 3-4 gem not restricted to the rewards in addition so everyone gets same rewards.

If kabam is too lazy to go revert the rank ups then really as mentioned a good idea would be to give both 2015 and all-champ rank up gems.

The precedent has been set. If you pay to abuse an exploit, you get no punishment and you get to keep your exploited rewards.
