When there will be changes to act 6.2.6 champion boss will be coming?
Any timeline?
I am middle tier player and he is a big hurdle to go forward.

Where did they say this? They did say they are looking at that particular fight, but nothing beyond that.

Its total BS to change anything about that fight. There are so many counters to him than previously!!!

Have you not seen that they worked out that, that act 6 was designed for champions that would be 8 stars. Yes there are skilled players out there, who can do it. But theres others who wouldnt be able to and I dont think kabam are that harsh to make content that only half of their player base can complete. You'll get compensation why are you complaining? You've already done it, move on. No one else is complaining.

It is supposed to be a very difficult fight. It's designed for skill and the right counters. If you don't have both, you shouldn't be taking that fight. I'm tired of the whiney players who think they deserve to win that fight based on nothing! Get the right counters, which there are plenty these days, and actually get skill and that fight becomes easy. If kabam changes that fight to make it easy, all it says is those players who couldn't beat the original are just second class players who don't deserve recognition. It's a slap in the face to ALL the players who found a way to win that fight without whining and crying like pathetic millennials.

I complete agree with you, that people should practice, grow roster and wait until ready if can’t do the fight. However it seems huge crying makes Kabam change their mind - so I will just sit back and enjoy my free extra rewards and return over all the units I used practicing to learn to beat him

If huge crying actually worked, everyone would pull god tier champs all the time, and have unlimited gold and iso and cats to rank up to r5s and r3s without waiting!!! Wars would be a fan favorite with everyone winning and rewards would be awesome!

Kabam has done right about waiting and updating Act 7 because of all the feedback, but to go backward and redo fights that are considered "too hard" is completely the wrong message. We need these stepping stone type fights to encourage players to progress properly though patience and skill development. With new accounts collecting 5*s like its nothing, there needs to be gates to force that progression. Those new accounts complain that they deserve rank up materials that are earned at higher levels just because they have a 5* champ. It's getting ridiculous, new players should not be on the same level as veteran players who put the work in to be at the level they are at.

"They" didn't work anything out. DNA put something together that essentially said it would take 8 star champs to basically brute force through fights based on just having similar PI. That it no way shape or form means that it's "designed" for 8 stars. Assuming players that have gotten all the way to 6.2 cant beat any fight without basically having the same stats as the opponent is absurd even for the lowest skill players.

The only thing they should change about that fight is to get rid of no retreat as a linked node. Once you tackle him a couple of times that fight really isn’t as awful as made out. Maybe tone down the attack value so you don’t get roasted on block damage.

There is a linked node that applies massive degeneration on you if you try back drafting. You literally need a champion with high block profficiency if you intend to explore the content

That's why NR (and maybe Spite) should be the only changes to the fight.

Don’t disagree there, but the 6.2.6 champion is the discussion here. And you’re gonna take block damage in this fight. There’s almost no way around it. Nobody at the point of 6.2 is just standing there the entire time letting the AI combo into their block.

But again, there are ways around even the block damage, capiw or even using Fantastic to set up capiw or thing or whoever. Why change the fight if there are multiple counters.

The nodes are really there number 1 issue, not the actual champion fighter.

Where is the block damage you have to take? Are you referring to getting the dex off his specials? Bc you don't have to take any block damage from that at all, you just bait his sp1, back up, wait for the 2nd to last hit, dash back in, then dex the last hit, go back in for a combo, and repeat until you get 5.

It takes a lot of time and practice to get the right timing to even count as a dex. Additionally it is one of the most useless skills to have outside of 6.2.6 where else will you have to dex the champion's specials. I think that kabam should change it to something else that can help you outside of 6.2.6 like intercepting or heavy countering.

Oh no, in a game that's all about using different champions to counter certain opponents and nodes, you have to use champions to counter an opponent and nodes

The fight itself can be manageable if you have enough practice. However, it is more difficult to get to stage where you can practice. I think it's probably one of the most unforgiving fights in the game; it seems to be easier to be frustrated by it than to enjoy it, unlike the Grandmaster fight that came after it.
The fact of the matter is, the fight will be reworked, and compensation will be given to those who have already done the fight, perhaps by the end of July.

Oh it's certainly more punishing that's no question. I don't that it's necessarily harder to get to though. Some of those paths before the GM are quite awful. But the fight itself, absolutely if you make mistakes against the champion you'll pay for them far more than with the GM.

Actually, the Champion can theoretically be solo'd by any champion (to the extent of my knowledge. Please correct me if I'm wrong), while the Grandmaster cannot be solo'd by all champions, such as champions who lack crits and DOT effects.

For me, he wasn't, Medusa took care of him. The boss fights seem to be less reflective of the overall difficulty of the content than the paths one takes to get to them.
