Oh my god the constant envy in this game is so pathetic . Yes some players got lucky thanks to Kabams bugs and will have a few more resources then us so what? Be happy for them instead of trying to tear them down or beg for more

So if hypothetically if almost everyone got extra rewards let’s say 5k 6* shards and half of a t5b except for you, you’d be okay with that?
If the advantage was somehow game breaking or imbalancing, they would have taken action. It's not the end of all things just and holy if someone got extra.
this is one of ur worse takes. Im pretty convinced that ur a troll at this point.
No. You're absolutely right. It's more logical to go on mountain high because a few people got double Emails.

No one has climbed a higher mountain than you
If you have an actual point to make about the discussion, then make it. I'm not going through the mental exercise of arguing just because you don't like me.

You were whining because people got better champs from their cav crystals just a couple months ago... But people suggesting there’s a hard cap on tier 10 runs to limit how much extra T5cc people can get is where you draw the line... Lmao
Yeah tier 10 definitely should have a hard cap on how many runs you can do. People saying it’s not a big advantage... It’s 13 extra 2% T5cc crystals, that could be a pretty big deal.

Was I? I don't remember saying that. In fact I remember telling everyone I was happy they had good pulls. I said I don't agree with a Side Event geared around Cavs.

No. I don't agree with the chance of some people pulling 6*s and others pulling nothing but 3*s. It's bad progress balancing.

You know what else is bad progress balancing? Some players getting 26% extra t5cc

Oh I see but some people getting an extra 26% of T5cc spread across 13 crystals isn’t a problem at all...

That depends on the number of people. If it's a small number, then the effect overall isn't as large. Is it fair on principle? No, I don't disagree there. How many people are actually getting extra? How many people who got extra Uru can actually run to 10? All these things go into the effect overall and whether it's worth doing something about it. If you're asking me if I'm bothered that others get something I don't, then no. Not acutely.
1. I don’t see why pointing this real scenario out and providing a reasonable solution calls for people to criticize that as whiny or a grab for more resources.
2. I appreciate the people that take this as a fun game and don’t mind that some people got a few more resources, that is a good mindset to have as a human, keep it up.
3. If Kabam could fix this, they should. Not to deny people the extra rewards that.... well they haven’t really earned but that have become available to them by a lucky for them mistake by Kabam. I get that it’s not directly impacting the accounts that are not a part of receiving extra rewards, but it does do some damage in the long haul for everyone especially because it involves a rare resource. It may not be gamebreaking, but in a game where players compete against each other (whether it be seasons of AQ/AW, solo events, etc) every advantage to one account that isn’t provided to all accounts does indeed imbalance the game. Whether you like it or not. Maybe not in a huge way, but if it’s possible to correct, it seems to be in the best interest of a design team wanting a good game.
(Also, since I typed it several times, now that I’m looking back, don’t @ me on the correct spelling of whether. I’m a native English speaker and that word always throws me for a loop)
Feel free to tell me how wrong I am, but be civil. *inserts some Civil War reference that I’m too tired to come up with*

26% translates to a significant value as, for some, that is the only real reward worth targeting for v5 and v6. I can't recall the current $ of t5cc but I think 10% is still over $40.
Op has a very valid point that some form of correction either letting other players earn the same amount or capping the others are the 2 suitable outcomes. Those who have objected or just outright derailed the thread probably are at severley lower progression point in the game and they aren't relevant.
Although much of this thread has devolved into poor taste, it does at least contain an actual working suggestion (and followed up with some in agreement) that Kabam implement a LIMIT of 9 (?) runs MAXIMUM on Tier-10. Which has not necessarily been suggested anywhere else before this.
(that is assuming OP calculations of 9 Max runs being correct, but would much rather see actual confirmation by DNA or some other reliable source as to whether 9 is the correct number or not)
As far as HOW it could be implemented. Kabam would have to issue a Game Update within only a few days (again, assuming OP's chart is accurate) that would add an additional “Entry Key” to only the Tier-10 Quest. It would be a NEW “Key”, that Kabam would send everyone 9 of in a Game Mail. So not only would you have to buy the Casket, but then as Tiers 9/10 are your options to run, the Tier-10 Quest would require 2 separate objects in order to start (1 being a Feather, 2nd being this New Key).
Potential problem with that is whether Kabam has the mechanism in place to require 2 separate objects for an Entrance Fee.
*OR ELSE* (and might actually be easier)... they could add that New Key as an item IN THE STORE, that you would purchase for the cost of 1 FEATHER each (and there would be a PURCHASE LIMIT of 10 Keys maximum from Store). And the Tier-10 Quest would ONLY have that New Key as the entrance requirement (the feather would not be a requirement for the quest itself, since you used it in the Store instead). You could still choose to buy them 1 at a time, as you see whether you want to continue doing T10 or drop back to T9, based on difficulty. That way they wouldn’t even need to send out any new items in Game Mail (only the Update to Game itself, as they probably can’t change Entrance Fees on-the-fly without an Update).
All this will probably lead to so many more bugs that Kabam might as well pack it up and call it a day
😀 of course, and the month is already confusion enough as it is. Which is why trying to do any type of across the board compensation to try and make things “equal” has failed in the past and would probably have errors again too (some ppl who originally got the extra would probably get another round of bonus Comp again, and some of the majority that didn’t originally might also mistakenly be missed in the new Comp too).

A very simple solution is to limit entries to tier 10. The rewards for extra runs of tier 9 as opposed to tier 6 or 7 are not game changing for most at this level.
I'll be salty about the people getting to run tier 9 extra times because of the 5 star shards. A bit salty, because it could give me one more try than I would normally have on pulling CGR or Apoc from the featured. But I'd be okay with it.
I wouldn't be okay with people getting an extra 26%t5cc.
