**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.

There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.
Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

Summoner Appreciation has had many forms over the years. I believe the first one was in 2015 and it was just a week long. 2015/2016 were the same. I can't remember if it was a calendar or not, I can't find anything on it.
2017 changed to a 4 week long event that had a week long calendar but that stemmed from the game having a lot of issues and Kabam wanted to really reach out and make it right with the community.
2018 event was a week long event- https://forums.playcontestofchampions.com/en/discussion/89859/summoner-appreciation-week-august-24th-31st there was no calendar for 2018.
2019 and 2020 were 90 day calendars.
Given that most S.A's were actually in August, we might still be getting something then.
The Event makes that much more clear: the event rewards people who play the game. The more you play, the more you get. And for anyone who is playing the game normally, the ten fight objective is trivial. For someone who isn't playing the game every day but feels they deserve the same rewards as people who do, the ten fights daily will be a chore. They have to decide if it is worth it or not. The people playing every day have no choice to make: there's no additional requirement besides doing what they are already doing.
