One thing I wanted kabam NOT to touch was her SP3 and here we are. She went from having the hardest hitting SP3 in game to doing some ok damage.
Yall really just change an attack that can cut off health pools in a second to just do some damage over time? I get that it was hard to set up but it was possible AND vs enemies like AOL or LOL, even 1 souls was the 50k or 85k damage cap. Oh Kabam, you silly goose.

So far from reading her details, I'm nervous about her buff.
I'm one of the few people who was saying all she needs is a moderate buff with some better numbers and extra utility but alot of people on these very forums were telling me I was wrong and she needs an overhaul.
No. She didn't. She was good as is. They just needed to roll some of her synergies into her base kit with some new utility and that was that.
These are the same people who only think damage is what makes a champ. They're the same ones to say Killmonger isn't a top skill because he "has no damage". When in reality he can have amazing damage, but people are too lazy to access it, they just want to be able to sp2 and end the fight in 5 seconds.
I expected a higher level buff from a community vote. I know, it wasn't promised, but all the forum voting and arena ballots set my expectations higher than what I consider a side-step. A side-step if I'm being generous, as I'm including everybody's time involved and what was lost in the rework.
Damage-heavy utility-light champs are gonna be unpopular outside of YouTube videos. That's just the meta. She'd need to be Horseman Wolverine to get looks, and I don't see that.
I certainly prefer a more utility-forward approach. Doesn't matter how cool a champ is if Act 5 is their peak content.

This whole comparison to other Champs and how much better they are at X or Y is the source of that inevitable disappointment. No one even stops to consider how much better they are than they were. Which is by far the largest measure for these reworks. Again, the past few months cannot be repeatedly brought up with everything that comes along. It's getting old, TBH. We're all aware the game has had issues. I think it's incredibly shortsighted and biased to form these judgements sight-unseen. Further to that, that's not at all going into it with an open mind. That's forming the prejudice that it will suck. People do that far too often here. They're already coming into things with the attitude that they will be dissatisfied.

If you limit the rebalancing to never removing or reducing anything, you're limiting these buffs to only Champs that are reworkable in that fashion.
I was really hoping for a reason to level up a champ I’ve always liked playing but couldn’t see using resources on, my new 6* or my 5* guillotine but I’m really disappointed in this overhaul. They gave a little but took away more than they gave.
I like that the first 10 souls don’t expire but why cap at 15. The bonus attack is tiny per soul even at a lot of souls it won’t make much difference. You get a soul 35% of the time if you crit, if you crit .25% percent of hits you only get a soul at best 8% of the time
Sp1 now costs 10 souls.
Sp2 used to reverse all regen now only 200% And can also cost souls.
Sp3 took away the really cool and fun part of the possible crazy damage and gives a smaller damage that also consumes souls.
I like that she got a rupture for bleed immune.
Regen looks meh, especially when we just got king groot and diablo who can have incredible regen with just as or more damage than the new guillotine. Not sure how the regen compares to current regen but I doubt it’s better
Couldn’t you have focused on either beefing her damage and regen like king groot and diablo OR taken the path of decent damage and regen but also added some standard mystic utility?
I’ll hold off on final judgement until I play her post buff but as of right now I’m really disappointed how it’s looking.

What was the point of the hype and the vote if this is the result. - No useful base utility - No immunities, no power control, no nullify, no AAR, healing is miniscule. - No role in the game - Where are players gonna use her? Even if she does good damage she offers nothing else. - Sp1 "share pain" is not usable in any high level content since it doesn't reduce the incoming damage. Any DOT worth countering is gonna kill you ages before the opponent. - Specials remove your Soul Charges whether you want the bonus utility or not, losing your attack bonus from the charges. Should've been a choice between either keeping the utility active or trading in the charges for a big Sp3. - Basically zero benefit when fighting buff heavy champs (ie. Cosmic) - 5% more bleed chance per buff is a joke.
So we're left with her only actual utility being her Sp2 heal reversal and you have to give up your attack increase from your soul charges to make it last a decent amount of time.
I just don't see the point of this rework, it brings nothing to the table that she didn't already have. For a Kabam original character that the community voted to get reworked I expected a lot more.
Ooh I got some theory crafting! Against Nick Fury, Guilly will regen a bunch during his 2nd life degen!

Nope, it says “ Guillotine Heals 2% of all damage taken by the opponent”. That’s a pretty big deal, and something some people may be underestimating. We shouldn’t judge her until she’s out, though.
is the change to her sp2 a nerf? currently it just says reverses all regen. but in the buffed one it is reduce by 200%. which would mean an opponent with 100%increased regen would merely have the regen shut down to 0%
upon furthur inspection, there is no node in game right now that increases "regeneration rate". so she should work just fine
I just realized something, it's pretty sad how Guillotine Somehow got Less Utility in her Overhaul than Gamora did in her Tune Up!
Also it's getting really annoying when they continue to add unnecessary steps to Preexisting Abilities especially when it's unwarranted with already fairly balanced Abilities like this, before she has a 50% Chance to Bleed on Crit. Now it's 35% Chance but increases by 5% per Buff on the Opponent, as well the Damage has been Reduced but Soul Charges now Increase Attack instead of Crit Damage to make up for it...
All they did there was make her Bleeds More Complicated and removed her Crit Damage Bonus, which would also Weaken that Critical Bleed Synergy she has with Purgatory if it remains unchanged.
Hard to say for sure whether the buffs on Guilly or TR are in practice great... but the design overall for both champion I believe is well-designed and thought-out... kudos to design team on these champion reworks!
Well great... my post criticizing guillotine got removed, not even move to this thread or anything. Goes to show how ashamed they might be with this buff. She straight up got nerfed. Less healing, less damage overall, still reliant on the same synergies... what a disappointing buff
Major game bugs, lag, more connection issues, mind numbing arena grinds, side quests dropped for tedious and boring objectives after duel targets get removed, and now we get to add a lackluster buff for the most hyped buff in months.
At least we didn’t have to be strung along for months with voting and grinding arena for more votes… oh wait.
But we should all be happy that our overflow is full of AQ revives.

Sp3 no longer takes 2 percent off per soul charge but instead does 1737 degen damage per soul charge...
She now needs the opponent to have buffs to help her chance to bleed, if they made it per debuff instead of buff i would be more optimistic......
