Am I missing something? I have the crit passive from the node, I’m using a special attack because it’s power shield, yet I’m not hitting anything even though the green text “Guaranteed Critical Hit” is there? What’s going on?

In addition to using champs who can lower the degen damage, you can use champs who don’t regen (robots), are shock/armor break immune (doom), or champs with 4+ buffs (most cosmic champs)

I think he might have a similar node that reduces degen and transfers it on knocking the the one that was on dorm EOP.
Also a good chance he has the cable synergy which increases the infection charges on contact.
Rest we gotta see in a few hours

King Groot can't get power drained if infection does proc, but his furies will cancel it most of the time. Plus Warlock is a robot so the special 2 will hit hard.

It seems to me that Das Ding ticks almost all of these boxes...

Could always turn off willpower to deal with the degen. The question is are they going to magneto-proof this to prevent the easy point (especially in week 5)?

And I’m going to guess one of the nodes today is going to be heal or hide. Also armor break immune. Sorry mags and Medusa.

I agree with Xnig. The objectives are going to be the hard part of the fight. I've turned off suicides in prep but may even need to end up turning off willpower depending on what champs end up being good for it

The fight itself I don’t think will be tough. What’s gonna be tough is gonna be the objectives.

They’ve never given us class advantage objectives before so 4+ buff cosmics are definitely out.

They’ll know tech has a lot of robots that wont get degen, so I doubt they’ll give us a tech objective, leaving us with skill/science/mystic/mutant.

We just had mystic last week so I’m guessing it’ll be either a skill/science/mutant objective.

We could further narrow it down if we remove the class objectives of the previous weeks but I can’t remember them lol

Probably safe to eliminate mutant as everyone would just run to magneto

I think we had a mutant objective for Overseer.

So if we’re left with skill / science, not many shock immunes for either class that don’t trigger willpower.

    If it’s science, probably Thing.

If skill, likely someone who can shrug it off or Moleman (who will make it a long fight since Warlock is bleed immune).

Objective wise might be science + F4 (could be too restrictive), or science + hero, or skill + villain.

Agree with Havana, can see it being armor break immune. I am kind of expecting it to be modeled off of the 6.4.6 Warlock mini boss, but Magneto proofed.

Force of will + armor break immune. If none of the the objectives won't fit magneto, they won't bother magneto proof that much

There will likely be a node like Heal or Hide that can put regen on the attacker if you aren’t careful, which will turn into a degen assuming you are infected. It will also be rough if it gets put on the defender unless you have some means of countering it.

Armor break immunity and possibly Force of Will to deal with Magneto. If he has Mystic Ward or something similar to go along with that, then his armor buff will be functionally permanent no matter who you play, meaning you won’t be able to crit with specials. If these are all in play, you’re going to want big red number champions to play against him. Mr. Negative was a good shout earlier in this thread for a lot of reasons.

If there’s a robot objective, Nebula is going to slay

no willpower, so his degen and power drain wouldn’t happen

The degeneration occurs when you attempt to heal when you’re infected. Since robots don’t benefit from willpower, having the armor break or shock on them won’t trigger the regeneration.

But robot who hav In build reg can still get the deg

Who is ready for this guy today? What do you think nodes will be? That degen damage is going to be a pain. The only 2 I can think of to counter is mr negative and spidey pig. Unfortunately I have no idea how to use negative.

    Doom
Immune to shock and Armor break

Yes, as long as infected. (I believe you’re specifically talking about Ultron here.)

Nebula is an exception though, 5 charges and Warlocks AA goes to 0 and no more infection for you.

I think Dragon Man also has a regen too? I might be misremembering if that can trigger the degen.

As long as you regenerate life when infected (salve included), you’ll take the degen. For DM, don’t use sp3 and I guess it’ll be fine.
