Kabam takes a huge L for this one. no gold offers, nothing but monetization, and random chance garbage. No area, just a single solo event that you would've already needed to whale out to even get from last time. This is the most anti-pro-player thing they could've done for this type of event.
I have to agree with other players that Kabam is just looking for money now, and not really trying to help any players in growing their rosters.
Everyday we get closer and closer to this games server being turned off.

Kabam I grinded for 2 months to get gold I played 7.1,7.2,7.3 variants and avoided rank ups for these times I also wasted time I could have spent anywhere else so that I get enough gold for this event and u say nothing about the event but come a day before and say no gold offers so all the time I put in the game is useless so I say put the offers or u will get alot of people angry cause the time they out is simply alot and u refused to tell us not to grind like this also I don't care about a damn Deadpool champ he is useless and terrible why would I grind for it but I need these offers so do alot of people
First, use punctuation or nobody will either take you seriously, or be able to decipher your thoughts.
Second, you didn’t know how much the offers would be, if they would have existed, you just assumed. Even the offers last year weren’t worth skipping rank ups for two months. Also, completing content with really good rewards (like Act 7 and Variants) should not be considered a waste of time, even without the gold offers coming in to play. Very few people I know would agree with you there.
Third, you don’t “need” the offers. They actually have discouraged grinding for stuff like this in the past, and Jax even told us over a month ago (or at least several weeks, don’t know the exact time) that there was no plan to bring it back, so how were you encouraged by Kabam to make the decisions you did? Also, what does “need” even mean in this type of game? There are requirements to get certain milestones, but there are also a huge number of ways to get rewards to help you get through those roadblocks. Nothing in the gold offers last year was unique.
I don’t love this event, but dang, this just seemed like a bit much.
All pro-player aspects stripped away, only pro-payer aspects remain. And you can’t count the Deadpool solo objective not being a buy-in event because there’s really nothing great about it. Utter disappointment.
Dude.. i understand your frustration and all.. but for a pro-payer is terrible too rofl... I never had such an easy pass on an offer.. I usually look at it.. and weight it .. see ,if there is a positive spin.. a useful mat.. something.. but this one is TERRIBLE
Believe me, I’m not here to defend what is available. It’s all bad. But those offers could’ve still been bad while offering something worthwhile to everyone.
I'm sad, I've been waiting for an offer. and in the end everything is for $ and a terrible offer in the store. Everyone was waiting for an offer for gold, they could give cabs one nexus 6 * and many would be happy. And right now, it all comes down to donations, offers, relics, BG.
The decision to not bring back gold offers is baffling, its literally the easiest way to show appreciation to f2p players who grind a lot as gold is what you get the most in grinding.
So for the record, in the second half of 2022, we had 1) The summoner summer event was expanded but also cost more 2) Battlegrounds was heavily monetised on launcht 3) Now the deadpool event basically eliminated the player friendly gold offers
This really doesn't bode well for the expectation of how they will change the "gifting" event in December, this is literally taking Ls after Ls. Add onto the possibly heavy monetisation of relics and 7*s, I can see the end nearing....

They could offer money for gold deals in the unit store and make money that way. Removing the gold deals from this year’s event doesn’t seem to accomplish anything or appease the player base in any way.
Kabam this was such a poor short sighted move. You’ve already shown the player base with the first attempt at Battle Grounds you don’t care about the overall player base just the spenders. Then you pull this rubbish. Of course we’re not entitled to anything but if you actually want a player base then this is not the way to go about it, maybe show a little less contempt the way of players who choose not spend.
I’d have actually spent money on this if they would have still had the FTP element. Just a joke.
