You and me both, especially not the X-Magica meta which is widely known for being one of the most rage inducing AW metas we've ever had and that's an understatement.
The team is aware of this and working on it right now. The good news is once this is fixed, the double hit parry should also be fixed.

He's worth ranking even with the bug. I R3'd mine and use him all the time. The only time I really got reparried was during the X-Magicka stuff when you HAD to attack into block.

Just lost 4 BG matches in a row bc of this issue. 3 of the 4 matches i had a better deck than my opponents and still lost after being punished for being re-parried. Hope they give us compensations for all these issues, lost a good chunk of my resources.
Just came looking for this. Just played a BGs match using Hulkling and Gladiator and I was getting parried on normal blocks into Onslaught and Void. Figured something was amiss. Kind of royally screws those 2 champs whole damage rotation.

Sure. They can create new mechanics that ignore masteries outta thin air and silently tweak the AI every month in ways that makes it more overpowered but addressing a bad mechanic is too hard to fix in a span of years.
I’m not seeing a new version in the Apple AppStore yet - have they released it on the Android side? If so does it seem to be working? Definitely don’t want to do the SoS gauntlet nor the Saga/AW solo event with this bug.

Some months ago the Team said they don't touch the AI. Can we please have an aknowledgement that you're effectively "passively" (or "actively") tinkering with the AI for the past months ?
AI time reaction and behaviour is getting out of hand: being parried middle combo side-step intercepted, dash intercepted, AI throwing special before being back on their feet after a heavy attack, no recovery time between 2 combos allowing us to block or dash back, and so on...

I wish communications like this would stop. The information that is being communicated is fine but the tone of this like they were innocent bystanders or even victims of this is beyond dishonest. This was caused by an intentional change they made to the AI, they are not innocent and blameless actors and it’s frustrating that this is the selected tone of a communication about this.
I would have far more respect for them if they owned the action here, especially if it was an unintended consequence of them trying to fix something else. But a tone like this makes me feel like there is a level of dishonesty involved here, where they are intentionally trying to overtune the AI and got caught going too far. And there’s no way they play test if they don’t play test for core mechanics like this one.

@BigBlueOx I think the nuance here is that it “feels” ignored because apart from reference in an update, there hasn’t been a lot of mod interaction re: this issue. Now that we know there has been a significant amount of turmoil for the mod team, it makes more sense that there wouldn’t be a lot said about it.
Add to the frustration that it is a pain point precisely because it happens to affect some of the best attackers in game (Cat, Silk, WW)—if it only affected VtD or Drax, it wouldn’t be mentioned much.
As for apology and/or remedy, I say that seriously—it shouldn’t be game-breaking, but it certainly affected previous Showcase runs, AW, BGs and perhaps other areas. And it has been long running and persistent.

in practice mode, my valkirie gets constantly paried by my human torch.
Since this was comunicated like its fixed, I guess its fixed after all.... in the exact samy way like that fix for the werewolf by nights medium.... NONE AT ALL.... well thank you wery much.... for nothing but empty words. again.
