And I have had many examples of defenders throwing a heavy and then magically dexing out of my medium attack when I attempt to punish them. Sometimes the dex occurs after my character model is actually in contact with theirs.
Not really the AI's fault here but I'd like to point out how kabam has started giving defenders little to no recovery times in their heavy/special attacks. We've seen onslaught who you cannot even dash into without getting clipped. SHOCKER has no recovery time on his special 1. Bullseye has very little room for recovery in his heavy and specials. And just RECENTLY fought the leader and noticed the same thing. Ate 2 specials to the face while trying to heavy punish him with cheeilth TWICE IN A ROW because he doesn't have any recovery time. This is crazy, why has kabam chose to make it harder than it already is to face these champions. You can barely heavy punish these new champs because immediately they throw their heavy attacks they're already out of the animation and can move freely. Eg dust. Past champs always barely ever had these problems. Look at doctor doom and nimrod(sp1 and heavy) for example both are pretty safe to rush in after special attacks. Best believe if these champs were released today you will 100% be eating a light combo to the face after every special attack if you tried to dash in. These champions are already hard stop making them more complicated

You get a power sting debuff and you have to intercept the defender to remove it and place it on the defender so you can inflict damage to them. The AI intercepts you and then just keeps backing up instead of coming forward so you can intercept them. It’s quite annoying when you can’t provoke them into coming forward for most of the fight and it takes a long time to actually defeat them. I’ve also notice the AI being able to hit through my block in other areas of the game and they don’t have an unblockable buff, I take a 5 hit combo right away. To me it’s always the release of new content that causes these issues.
What is this? Kabam and defenders asked people for "video proof where? Lol lol" Now from months there are proof, the defenders have shifted from, "it's hard to fix, yup yup"
Hard to fix for 8+ months? Crazy times.
AI from last 2 months have learnt a new thing of casually walking towards us, just simple walk, if you try to attack it will perry, if you try to dash in it will light punch you, if you try to dash back, it WALK towards you, won't dash into you as it KNOWS you will use parry in response.

Totally, I've been here from almost 2018-19 and I'm not much into posting on Forums, but this issue totally shucks, even last night while playing a Hit Monkey after successfully dexing his Sp1, I tried to go punish him and he ****' parried me thrice in his his sp1 in a single fight, I was lucky he didn't complete his 5 hit combo until the last sp1, and goneeee. Same happened in a AW and got 1 death at the start of the season, Dafaqq.
Kabam wants only one thing, empty your stocks and units. Afterwards, they want you to buy more and again potion and revive. And to get to this end, Kabam will constantly change the AI to empty your stocks and revive

Hitting through block has been another major issue. There is no unblockable, no disorient, no crush, no block penetration, buff or debuff,...NOTHING......yet this happens.

Ai never using specials even when taunted, or using them when intimidated, they also tend to conveniently wait to use special 3 until after your indestructible or phase expires, and just silly things like that.

We're talking about Kabam. A company that nerfed the easiest revive farm to add a tedious apothecary, and before added a monthly health and revive potion deal that has now somehow gone missing, without a trace or word from Kabam.

Best believe if the ai just stood there with its guard down refusing to attack and throw specials allowing guaranteed wins, the issue would be fixed.

Because AI is able to skip the frame rate man, I don’t know this is intentional or bug. But tbh, if this is intentional, then…
I dont understand why only the AI can skip frames.
Knock the AI down, immediately dash back (once the controls are "unlocked" so you can dash), - alas! The AI is up and following you to give you that love tap already.
That isn't physically sound game mechanics. How can a defender I knock down be up and moving before my controls are released from the animation I used to knock them down? That has been around for months now.

Just got parried by Sasquatch in battlegrounds during the last hit of my 5 hit combo using Human Torch.
Had a similar issue in Incursions where I was mid combo and was suddenly being blocked, so it makes sense that in bg if the same thing happened you'd get parried.
Just encountered the issue in EOP quest against havok. While herc had his indestructible active, havok held back his sp3. As soon as the buff expired, bro went Pew Pew mode😭
