What the AI does in this GIF is impossible. I block his medium attack, and the exact moment when I'm able to counter for an attack I do so and get parried. Watch Juggs push Magik back and the split second she's able to counter she does.
This parry shouldn't exist.
And this is just a small example of changes to AI behavior and basic timings that has made this game unbearably unfair.

Op is wrong imo. The game just got harder. The AI can't block you after they use a medium or a heavy attack, you just gotta act faster. It's still very doable. Most of us noticed that the AI has become more aggressive and has been moving faster lately, you just have to adapt and react faster.
First off, I'd like to say that I acknowledge and respect your opinion but I would like to respectfully disagree with it.
If what you say is 100% true and that game just simply 'got harder' as you suggest, wouldn't it be easier for a moderator, developer or game official to acknowledge that they indeed have changed the AI to make it more challenging to the players? A simple, 'Hey guys, we'd like to acknowledge there (has/hasn't) been a change to the AI since v1(x).(x)' from a game official would do. However, the lack of an official response (please correct me if this is not the case) leaves room for wild speculation or rumours which is might I add, is counterproductive and is strongly discouraged by the moderators.
Some of the Mystic Symboids -- even other symboids -- have broken mechanics -- they can run up, stop then walk into range... with their block down, they can interrupt any medium or light attack you do --- you're holding block and you know when you're going to attack, but the AI can react faster than you can input the commands. It's broken AI mechanics like this which need to be changed.
Yes!!! I approve of the OPs comments all the way. I have seen this for a very long time and it's nice to see someone else speak up about it, last thread I made got immediately erased even though nothing in it violated any rules.
Let’s be clear there are different issues ;
One is AI unfair advantage because of the speed, and
The other one is Issues like Lags , parry , dexterity , blocking.
While some are saying you can change your gameplay because of the speed of the AI it still doesn’t cover the major issues we are facing of lagging, blocking , parry and dexterity
we cant even hit AI right after doing a special attack which stuns them. Most of the time,hit is bounced off, even when we try to hit AI after their special attacks.
and the AI in arena is using dexterity mastery a lot more than it used to be.
To practise what?when the parry,evade and other very important mechanics of the game are not working,plus lags,plus the ai boosted and cheats too much?loooool.are you joking with us?we r not having fun at all and this is a game,supposed to be challenge and enjoyable.this is just bulls...t like this.
Yep, these issues are so bad I used all my potions and a lot of revives in MODOKs Lab and Hotel MODOK Uncollected and had to abandon Chapter 3 Exploration through Ice Phoenix and MODOK cause of failed blocks and lag where it stops my combo or they interrupt me during combos, and all intercept like they are Rhino now, even over my Rhino in Arenas a few times.
Sinister maybe your game is good, in fact sometimes mine is, but it seems the higher the level of difficulty the more likely to glitch or have these unreal timings, even grounded wisdom who has long had the opinions you are sharing now. started a thread like this last week. As it had crept into his game, all I can say is until you have experienced it in your game your opinion may not be as valid as you think it is, today in aq I was missing parry so much I started holding down block a half second before I usually would and pressing hard and still registered no block at all several times in a row, other days my aq is fine, I tend to find day 5 the Ai changes to be harder To bait and these issues seem to pop up then more. These last two weeks some days I'm getting hit by single attacks as I swipe back, see myself start to move, dexterity even pops up but I am hit. The fact the dexterity pops up while I'm being hit is evidence to me that there are serious issues, I've stopped exploring 5.4 (first run through wasn't that hard) for now until I see the game play get more consistent, not looking forward to my alliance going back to 5x5 aqs next week as we have been having a relaxed map 3 run last few weeks for holiday season, the gameplay is in a terrible state more often that not for me these past 10 days or so
If these issues are global, then why are there players that sail through high end content?
All I'm saying is, the smaller window is part of the increase in difficulty, it's not a bug. Heavies aren't broken, parries are not broken. That's good news. The game's just a bit harder. You can't beat bugs, but you can become better at the game.
Players have taken the time to record videos to document something that they believe has not been reported or hasn’t been addressed, should have their posts respected.
If you aren’t a moderator, or you do not have information that can help answer their questions, why are you posting?
I’ve been experiencing many of the issues from previous posts and many.of these issues are reported in my alliance chats and other player chats. I don’t know if the issues are global, but they are wide spread.
These are serious game play concerns that are costing players real money and effecting their enjoyment of the game. The posts I read have not been Whiney or rude. They want to know that a moderator has reviewed the player reported issues, and whether or not, they will be sent on to the game team.
@Sinister7th as we said before,the parry and the block are broken too,they do not work 5-6 times,from 10.i had a very easy fight in the aw today,my sig lvl 99 bw against electro.guess what?electro killed me easily,because of the broken block and parry.very frustrating.i am happy,if the game works properly for you,but i think,you should visit an optician,if you have difficulities with reading words.maybe the problem is much deeper,you just do not understand them.who knows.
It is really weird,i play the game on iphone7 and android too,the game is awful on the android and on the iphone is just instable,pretty often,there is no control on the heroes,instead of dashing back,they start to run forward,they do not block,etc.it is really weird,because lots of iphone owners are having no problems,but lots of them are having.my phone is not overinstalled with applications,there is no messenger,or any other raneater application on it.i wouldnt waste my time here,if it is not true,i am just going forward with the act5 and i enjoy this game.pretty simple.the frustrating part is that,we cant trust in the gameplay anymore,doesnt matter if i got the skills,to evade and intercept,if they do not work.also there is no response at all from kabam,nothing happens with those issues and they are poisoning too many people for too long.
Btw @Hubris_hater it is very silly,to deny this very bad issue,just because you do not have it.if you do not have this problem,just enjoy the game,stop to troll here and let the people discuss about this.thank you.
