Please rethink what you are doing because your sucking the fun out of the game more and more as you pull these stunts and throttle us toward your “deals” For progression.
Other than 12.0, this might be another historical failure since for the majority of players, this is just pointless and difficult content. Saying 6*s arent the meta proves how deeply ignorant the company is about their own game. Then why’d u release abyss or let alone 6*s in the first place? Act 6 exploration rewards shouldve been guaranteed 6* r3 material for just 1 champ exactly how we got our first r4 5* in act 4 exploration and first r5 5* in act 5 exploration OF OUR CHOICE. It should’ve been very close to the rewards we get from abyss. Whats the point of that 6* wolverine if u cant even rank him up let alone whats the point of this game anymore? Players are grinding aq and variant just so they can get to the level that they can begin abyss or go beyond cavalier. And now the rewards are so underwhelming for content that they’ve worked up to? Thats sad. We arent even talking about r4 6*s or 7*s, this is just r3 6*s, basically a 33% bump from a maxed out 5*. That totally breaks the game huh? The fact that kabam wont even listen to the player base about changing the rewards is just pathetic. So whats the point of act 6 now? So we can move on to act 7? Disappointing. I know they’ve said in the past that 7*s would decrease the longevity of the game but rewarding players lame rewards kills our motivation of continuing the game.
The reason why this game is thriving is because of how dope a fighting game on a mobile game can be. Yet again, some players can get bored of the swipe tap tap tap swipe mechanic and leave. But for the players who are still here, its because of that great feeling u get when beating difficult content and being massively rewarded and seeing how much uv accomplished as u watch how much ur roster grows stronger by the end of the day. These lame rewards do not cut it. Kabam, if u dont bump the rewards, dont be surprised if ur player base drops.
Act 6 completion should have been a progression step: 1 random T5CC and 1 random 6* awakening gem at least.
Act 6 exploration should have been a progression step: 2 random T5CC and 1 generic 6* awakening gem at least.
Would it really be so bad if players actually felt rewarded after such an intense challenge? These are the kind of rewards that keep players playing the game.
And the meta for this game is broken - you’ve created an enormous logjam where everyone has access to an array of 5/65 and 6-star 2/35 champs (thanks to variants and the glory store), and no one can progress meaningfully past that.
Kabam all you have to do is add a 50% t5cc selector upon completion and another on exploration.
Also, add 20 generic 6 star shards.
I personally want more but that is the least you can do minimum for players to feel somewhat rewarded. I just feel an unusable gem coming with completion smh.
I have a group of strong 6 stars and could tackle much of the Act 6 content well but it feels like such a slog especially with your ultimate payout.
This is why I only completed Act 6 Chapter 1 to get Cavalier and that is it. Simply put, it isn't that enjoyable. All the requirements/paths for Chapter 2 were very discouraging as well. (*Side note: another time Kabam decided not to listen to the overwhelming feedback from the community. Later realizing the community was right and so adjusted Chapter 3.)
I was excited to see the Act 6 rewards to hopefully spur me to start the completion/exploration. That did not happen.
Naively, I was hoping Weapon X (even a 5 star) would be the reward for full exploration of Act 6 but nope. So instead we get this amazing popular champ full of new abilities that only a small percentage will get. I have no desire to work toward getting him with the chance that all that work will be for naught. I will work like a crazy person (i.e. spend units on revives, health, etc.) if I know there is a guaranteed strong reward. Tons of hard work/money toward a small chance to get a reward isn't motivating.
So I will not be tackling Act 6 at all until it is a requirement to be move up to the next level after Cavalier. Guessing completion of Chapter 1 in Act 7.
Lastly, is it me, or does Story Mode not at all match the rest of the game in terms of work vs payoff?
