Didn't he like can always hit all invisible champs?
But why it has to be different when against Guillotine 2099?
He will miss his hits.
Here is the prove.

I also asked them for clarification in the guillotine spotlight ...
https://forums.playcontestofchampions.com/en/discussion/164461/champion-spotlight-guillotine-2099
In there Kabam Zibiit actually "hinted" that it might be an issue, and they'd look into it ..
.. and then nothing .. *shrug*
At least if they could clarify how Daredevil works with different champs/terminologies .. it would help a lot.
As I indicated in there, they need to:
1) start using consistent terms: ie cloak vs stealth vs invisibility vs phase ... etc.
2) they need to spell out clearly what daredevil can counter (eg stealth, invisibility, but not phase . etc.)
so that we're not always "guessing" at how things are supposed to work.
so some clarification is needed.
So Invisible Woman, Hood, and Mysterio seem obvious - Daredevil should be able to ignore those.
Ghost is obvious ... he can't bypass that.
Darkhawk, however, like Guillotine 2099, does not mention invisible, and use very similar wording.
Darkhawk is bypassed, Guillotine 2099 is not.
If we go by logic and ingame abilities, Daredevil shouldn't be able to counter miss mechanics, of any champion.
And the reason is simple. Because he does not have such ability, and countering it would be classified as a bug, or a non-intended feature.
The developer's already confirmed that despite not being an ability on Daredevil's part, is an exception created by the opponent's attack/ability. And for the case of Guillotine 2099, they also stated that this interaction would be brought up to match the other miss mechanic abilities in the game. Don't know if it ever changed and was now reverted for some reason.
I'm not too sure what's the intended behaviour should be here, since it's one of those poor easter-eggs that the developer's decided to add instead of creating a line of text on a champion ability list.
- Invisible Woman - Invisibility, clearly
- Hood - Invisibility, clearly
- Darkhawk - Probably partial invisibility, since DD bypasses it
- Mysterio - Illusion/misdirection
- Loki (Ghulk synergy) - Presumably Illusion/misdirection
- Guillotine 2099 - Presumably Illusion/misdirection
- Ghost - Phasing
- Silver Surfer - Phasing
- Tigra - Some kind of magical evasion? Who knows?
Long-term, it would probably be wise of the game team to take a look at this, as there's definite logical inconsistencies between who counters what:- Daredevil counters invisibility, but for some reason, not illusions (which he should)
- Human Torch can burn so hot, he doesn't miss things that are invisible (Um, what? Sorry? How does this work?)
- Whilst Nick Fury can use 'tactics' (and Falcon can use scanning tech) to counter every single one of these, including hitting Ghost whilst she's in an altered physical state of being...
I expect this to get sorted out around the same time Iceman gets immunity to Coldsnap, Ghost Rider becomes Incinerate Immune, and someone finally asks the question 'Why isn't Magik immune to another Magik's Limbo effect?'
