Pretty inconsequential updates I thought. The mutant one doesn't address the fact that the fights all take way too long. The others are all fine. Tech needed an overhaul and looks like it got....a bit of an update.
I actually like the mutant one the most out of all them. But I also have Omega Red and Magneto to use. Omega Red with synergies makes those fights really short.
But OR couldn't take advantage of the global node. I've been using my 4* and he does just fine, but it's tough to argue that the global buff served any purpose.
Absolutely he can but not in the way it's intended per the description. Omegas specials don't hit that hard to begin with and really more than anything you don't want to use anything but an SP3 to take advantage of the power drain. Since Seeing Red is paired with biohazzard, OR constantly keeps death field up, allowing him to move past 30 spores on the regular much like starting the fight with Suicides. Also allowing to have that extra death field damage bonus by staying close to the opponent. Get them to 30 spores and parry/heavy to degen them as well. I stopped trying to get the prowless for OR because I realized I can just take advantage of the reduced bleeds even further. 30 spores, degen and death field damage ends the fights quickly. I bring colossus and void for the synergies.
I guess I should say that Seeing Red isn't why I like that chapter but more that it's combined with Biohazzard.
I personally don't like it. Hate the buffs. Kabam is not going to pay my medical bills when I get carpal tunnel form these Long fights. Rewards suck content to tideous that's my opinion.
It's cool that they updated punishment glutton, but for the fact that it's now paired with rapid metabolism is gonna make things a bit harder, honestly.

The furies will be stacking quicker as a result of your damaging debuffs having shortened duration which means that your basic attacks and special attacks will hit harder much quicker than before. It looks like a decent trade off but we'll have to see.
By the way, I'm pretty happy with the change to "seeing red". I can finally use my AA safely in that quest now, just to put a point in coagulate and I'm set!
Rewards are not exciting for the time it takes. If Kabam wont budge on the rewards, then please take some health off so we can get it done in a decent amount of time.
Maybe the reason Kabam haven't updated the Cavalier Diff rewards is because they are coming out with a new Throne Breaker Difficulty Event Quest??? wtih 30k 6* Shards and 45k 5* Shards
Rewards are still a heaping pile of burning trash, and they are still flat out refusing to listen to the 99% of people who agree with this
They seem basically fine to me, given the difficulty. I think many of us thought the difficulty was going to be higher, but at this difficulty level I don't know what people really expect.
Also, there's lots of people who think the flow of rewards into the game especially at the high end is arguably too high, and is accelerating the game towards a decision point better forestalled as long as possible. Namely, do we introduce 7* champs and piss off everyone who has to rebuild roster again, or do we stack an advancement system on 6* champions which then make 6* champs the end of the rarity road, which causes other even more complicated balancing problems.
I don't like that they keep doing the same global nodes. I wish they'd make some different ones that still help respective classes but have different effects along with other node combinations.
Yeah, month 2 was boring, if these are going on for like 4-5 months it’s going to end up more boring than arena
The counter is that having the buffs recur makes it realistic to rank up champs for the content and get your money’s worth. I wouldn’t mind one of these two: 3-4 months in a row with the same buffs by class, or a 3-month rotation where you had some predictability.

not really a good counter at the cav level where you are expected to have a wide roster. If this was the beginner level sure...
The changes are whatever. Didn’t really effect me before, so sure I’ll take the new changes.
The rewards need an overhaul (which is sad cuz this is month 3).
Not even a lot. A full 6 star crystal or 10k shards would work. Some more t2a More t5b Frags. Maybe 10k more And at least 20% of a t5c. Or 2 10%. Im not even asking for 25%.
Easy completion path, but no completion rewards... Trash. Over all rewards for time commited to 100% it... Trash. Over all opinion... Trash, still.
There are completion rewards. It is just that instead of giving you completion rewards only when you fully complete the entire Act, it gives you completion rewards after completing each chapter. Why people think this is worse is literally beyond my comprehension.
Needed to change rewards, and come up with different node ideas, not just tweak the nodes. It is excessively tedious and time consuming for what you get. Just find it boring already, can't imagine in a few months time. No inventiveness from month to month to keep it interesting, just same old same old.
I'm curious as to whether it's Kabam's intention to ever change the global class nodes completely, or just tweak the current ones occasionally like this update. I've got two accounts, and whilst my main account has had no issues, I've not had suitable champions for all the global nodes on my alt so some of Cavalier EQ has been a non-starter. If Cavalier EQ is just essentially going to be Uncollected plus the existing class nodes with an occasional tweak, then I'll take this into account for rank up decisions. Would be really helpful for my alt, and no doubt to other newer Cavalier rosters, to know if these are what to target going forward with rank ups/acquisition.
From my main account perspective: if they are going to be the same every month -- that's kinda lame. Glad to see the Tech buff is no longer completely useless and that the Mutant one actually allow champions without AAR-issues to work. And the change to Skill will encourage me to use someone other than Nick Fury for every fight (though I probably will still do so).
I admit I'm sort of confused by what the change to Mystic Consumption is... When were Mystic champions gaining Fury - is that meant to say Prowess? Is this change removing the "or the Opponent fails their Buff roll" aspect or am I misreading it? If it is then it makes my Mojo sad... He's been a lane clearing beast the last couple of months
I have an idea for a reward buff. Along with some tweaks to current reward values, possibly add:
• 2% T5CC Crystal to every quest exploration.
• A Chest (similar to the abyssal chest) on every path that contains: - 3,000 T2 Alpha Fragments - 500 5 star shards. - 125 6 star shards. - 20,000 Gold. (edit) - 500-1,000 T5 Basic Fragments
Adding these all together, with some potential tweaks to the current rewards, makes me think that this could have some potential to be something everyone will really look forward to every month. Please give any constructive criticism that you feel is necessary.

Probably be 20 hit fights, lol
Gonna have to test it out when it drops.
