So how are we supposed to get the indefinite energy vulnerability debuff now? It requires u to fire off sp3 straight away .. that is now only possible with a synergy ..
Save to Sp3 and don't use it. That carries it over if I'm not mistaken.

Bishop has always been able to do this ... what was new to his kit is ending a fight with an SP3 and also starting the next fight with the SP3 even after using it to end a fight.
but he's always had the ability to start the next fight with whatever unused power he had at the end of the current fight.
I think its working as intended, thats why the energy conduit synergies exist, finish a fight with sp2, you enter the next fight with 3 bars of power thanks to synergy and u get that indefinite vulnerability debuff off.

The issue is that using the sp3 to close out doesn’t save the energy for the next fight. But if you just sit on the sp3 and close the fight with basic attacks, you’ll start the next fight with three bars. It’s still not ideal, but it’s not impossible to start at three bars.

I know. Just posted that as a reply to an above query. Since it's the only way to get the energy vulnerability at the start of the fight.
Y’all, it’s the weekend. Tagging the mods isn’t going to get any feedback. If you’ve got ideas about possible solutions to the issue or other constructive thoughts, feel free to post those. But please don’t turn this thread into spam and risk it getting shut down.

Hey I just pulled Bishop, should I rank him up even without this ability?
Once I pull a few more mutant t4cc, I’ll be taking mine to r3. Mine is duped, sitting at sig 20, which is nice but not critical. So I’d say yes, still very much worth it.
Hi folks, first off, we're sorry about the delay in response. It is truly not our intention to cause any confusion or inconvenience in this case. The change was intended, but it was to be announced and released at a later date. Unfortunately, it was released ahead of schedule due to technical error and so we appreciate that it may have come as a bit of a shock. We apologise again for this and assure you that we did not mean for this to happen.
With that said, the current state is its intended state. Here is @Kabam John to give you a little more details about why this change was implemented.
Again, we're truly sorry for any confusion this may have caused...
Hey all, So the bishop changes was mostly focused on playing AGAINST Bishop rather than playing WITH Bishop. When fighting against Bishop in harder content, namely content where taking an sp3 on the Chin will result in most any champ going down. What was happening was Bishop would start the next fight with Sp3, and then there's a pretty high chance you would go in and just lose the next character to an Sp3 at the start of the fight, then the next, again, and again, and again... That's not great and we didn't want to have a champ that has the chance of just clearing a whole team and players having little to no chance to deal with it. It does change up the way you have to use the Energy Vulnerability as a player for bishop, but it does however largely get rid of the situation where you run into a wall against Bishop as a Defender.

The simple and obvious solution was making him unable to carry over more than 2 bars of power on defense. Why not implement that?
I agree, many abilities where it applies only on defense or vice versa.

I appreciate that this is probably the easier way to fix an issue for him as a defender, but it makes a part of his Sig ability worth much less now, and a part of his kit. As others have suggested, why not make it so thr ability to start with 3 bars isn't applicable when he's a defender?
Explanation is perfectly logical from Kabams side, stuff went live too early, and Bishop can be a hard stop to play against without a way to tank SP3s, makes perfect sense.
The issue then becomes giving players the chance to decide if they still like Bishop in his current form. Yes, that means rank down tickets should be issued (even if the ability is changed to offense only, I know people have ranked him for defense).

I’m cool with bumping this up so that we can hopefully get it addressed, just need to be smart about how we do it so we don’t undercut ourselves.
