Q: Is this event only for English speaking players? I didn’t receive a message about it in game, but my friend did. A: Absolutely not! This event, and all of the cool stuff that can be unlocked is for everybody! Because our Facebook page and all of its contents are in English, we chose to only send the message out to players that play in English. This doesn’t mean that everybody isn’t welcome to take part.
Q: Does the Collector Crystal include every Champion as a 2-Star Version? A: Not every Champion in the game has a 2-Star Version created for them, so there are a few that won’t be included.
Q: Does the Collector Crystal include the 1-Star Spider-Man that I sold? A: Yes! This is your chance to reclaim any of the Champions that you collected at the beginning of your journey in the Battlerealm! (1-Star Spider-Man, Wolverine, or Ironman)
Hey, Miike What if you don't have an FB account and you're not allowed to make one? Do you still get the same rewards as the people that did like? or something smaller?
If we reach goal, it will be accessible for everyone. It's not required to have a Facebook Account.
Is it accessible to people without access to a credit card? Pretty sure its not so its NOT accessible to everyone. On a side note theres 0% chance we hit that mark lol.

Everyone that pays a dollar. Meaning you don't have to have a Facebook Accout and/or Like their Page to benefit if goal is met. There are 3100 Units available if you pay about $100 USD. Does that mean it's unfair to those who don't spend as well?
Wont be a free 4*. It'll be a free 2* with a increased chance at a 3* or 4*
No it sounds like it's actually a 4* crystal with the champs that we vote on. @Draco2199 anyone who has access to the game can find a way to get the $1 offer if they really want to and if they don't it's a 4*. Not sure why you've made this a thing lol.

If you're 13, and don't have access to a credit card, as understandable as that may be, it's not the responsibility of the game to make the Sales free. It is a Sale. Not a Gift for all Players. Purchase is required. The same way purchase is required for all Sales. That's what makes them Sales.

Many many 13 year olds do have access to one dollar for an online purchase whether from parents or gift cards etc. 13 year olds with mobile devices generally have some money and can buy a gift card if they really want it. At the end of the day, it's a fraction of that 10-15% who might literally have no way to get the offer. They can still get a 5* with their 2*s. Just seems like a non issue to me.
What I don't understand is Kabam wants us to like their page to reach "THEIR" goal of 1 million likes. If we accomplish this "FAVOR" they will then give us an options to "BUY" a 4* random God tier champ for $1.
So they want us to "LIKE" their page and then pay $1 for that like????
Am I the only one that thinks this is completely insane? They are asking for us to do something and then also give them money and they will give us a 4* which is now essentially a 3*?
I mean it should be free for reaching "THEIR" goal, this isn't our goal. And then we will also give them $1 each amongst what 500,000 players. So we like "THEIR" page to get them more noticed on facebook and then give them $500K and we don't even get to chose our God Tier champ.
Sounds crazy to me, but this is just my constructive criticism about how I feel.
yes i think you're insane that your feelings are hurt over this.
first off, it is our goal. it's a community goal. what do we get in return. yes an offer to buy $1 champions. We also get an arena where we can finally utilize our 2*'s to get 5* shards. but if you can't fork over $1 then (as i've said before) go run a paper route. Seriously, it's the cost of a pack of gum.
My feelings aren't hurt at all, why would you make a personal attack against someone on their opinion? Also how is it our goal to get 1 million likes on Kabam's facebook page? This doesn't add any money to my bank account? Since you can easily fork over $1 are you offering to pay for everyone who plays the game and can't? If not then you probably shouldn't make insensitive comments. You do realize some people that play this game are 13 and up meaning they don't have a credit card meaning they can't pay for an item if they wanted to because they legally can't own a form a payment to do it. So how does a paper route help those people? I'm assuming you are going to step up and fund all those kids that have helped make Kabam reach "THEIR" goal.
I'm sorry I just don't agree with you at all here. My perspective is that this is a community goal that we are rewarded for. They are tasking us with something and in return we get something for it. It's pretty easy.
Furthermore,
Those kids can earn very good rewards that will catapult their Roster and you don't have to spend a dime at all. Five star shards for using 1* and 2* champions. Sounds great to me.
This would all be "okay" if the crystal cost 10$ or something like that. Selling this crystal at 1$ is basically a gift (which it really is in this scenario) that is only available for pay2win players
nah, i'm pretty okay with it being $1 as well, i'm sure, are a lot of other people.
also, nowhere has this been stated by kabam that this was a gift. in both the in game message and the announcement it says that they will be adding a $1 crystal.
Selling something like this at this price to commemorate an achievement ... Yep it's a gift basically
I'm sorry, but there's no way this line of thought is remotely fair. First you're saying that since the crystal cost is "only" a dollar, it is essentially a gift. Then you are saying that since it is a gift, it shouldn't cost actual money. That isn't quite circular reasoning, but perhaps it is Moebius reasoning. You're alternating between saying a dollar is essentially zero, and saying the difference between a dollar and zero is materially significant.
If the difference between a dollar and zero dollars is important enough to be a deal breaker for someone, then the offer cannot be "essentially" a gift. If the cost is low enough to be considered a gift, then it is low enough to be considered immaterial to any purchaser. Conversely, if the cost is material enough to be a deal breaker, that cost is significant and the offer is not a gift. You cannot reasonably claim both.
I'm saying that the way this offer is being released, is basically a "gift" that is only available for pay2win players only, leaving a big amount of free2play players without ways to get this.
@eXtripa69 how would you feel if the deal was literally one cents? Would it still be against your morals. I’m not taking the piss here this is a genuine question
If I understand @eXtripa69 correctly, his issue is not that he doesn't want to spend the money or that the cost of the offer is too high. It is the reverse: since the cost is so low, its unfair to the F2P players because it basically gives too much value to the paying players.
That's not the problem. I can't spend because there is no way for me to get any money in the game. That's a problem that the majority of free2play players have.
Surveys doesn't work, credit card or asking the parents doesn't work, giftcards is not an answer too.
That's why this "offer" is bad. Is basically a "gift" that free2play players like me can't have it, but everyone else will get it.
So that's why this offer should had been released at a cost of 10$ instead. To be more like an offer and less like a gift

As I said before, it would still be impossible for me to buy it.
I'm asking for this to be available for everyone, for units. If they decided to sell this for pay2win players only they should have increased the cost of it
That's not fair or reasonable at all. I understand you feeling left out, but it's not better to expect others to pay more. Not everything that comes along will be free. There are many Offers in the game for Units. It's the same with this. Some are for Units, some are for real money. They've made it as reasonable as possible by making it a dollar. It's the same with Presale Crystals. They're sold for money, for a chance at an advanced copy of the Champs. You're free to request it. I have no problems with anyone asking. I'm just saying it's not an unfair situation.

I'm sorry, but that's just illogical. If you're saying that you literally do not have a mechanism to purchase anything in a mobile game at any price, I find that difficult to believe. But more importantly, if I do believe you and that's your problem, then asserting that the offer should be $10 instead of $1 does not help you in any way. That is now saying if you can't have it cheaply, no one else deserves to either. That's straight up selfish.
For all those complaining about the $1 offer saying you can't get money into the game, there's plenty of ways.
You could easily buy a $10 gift card and use some of that.
I use an app called "Google rewards" which I earn money from answering questions and then sometimes use the money I receive to buy things in game. If you download this app now, you will easily have more than $1 to spend before this offer comes out.
There's other ways as well to get money into the game without access to a credit card so if people are still complaining it's because they just don't want to spend (which is their choice not to spend any real money).

I'm asking for this to be available for everyone, for units. If they decided to sell this for pay2win players only they should have increased the cost of it
This is just selfish thinking.
Firstly you’re assuming there are only two categories of players in this scenario. Pay2win and free2play. But that’s not true, there are people who don’t spend at all, people who spend rarely, people who spend every so often, etc, all the way up to the whales who spend all the time. According to you, people who spend once a year are the same as the whales. This isn’t true. Kabam haven't decided to sell this to pay2win only, they have put an offer up for a dollar. If a player who hasn’t spent in their life on the game decides to buy it, according to you that makes them a pay2win.
Secondly, you’re basically saying if I can’t have it cheap nobody else should. Which is childish and ridiculous. In one way or another, you do have the chance to buy the offer, gift card, survey, adding it to your phone bill etc. Saying otherwise without reason must be because you don’t understand how to, or because you’re lying to prove your point. If you genuinely do have a reason you can’t use those methods I look forward to hearing it.
Thirdly, I don’t know whether you’re on apple or android but if you’re Apple, here is a link about how to use a gift card without a credit/debit card. All you do is choose no payment and it allows you to use a gift card. https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT204034
If you are on android, then you can download the google rewards app and fill out some surveys or add it to your phone bill. If your parents or bill payer are against that then give them a dollar.
I simply refuse to believe that there is NO WAY to get money, whether real money or earned through some virtual rewards, onto a Google account. Google is a global company that deals with developers that are trying to make money. For them to make it impossible to add some form of currency would be counterproductive to their entire business model.
This is a win win win for everyone.
Well we are only at 793K and our daily likes needed has now increased to 12,134 from 11,712 a few days ago. I don't think any of us have to worry about reaching the goal anymore lol. So I guess my perspective of you should market to 100% of the player base instead of 60% must sound silly.

If you are 13 and don't have a credit card and your parents won't let you use theirs....is it accessible to them? Cuz thats probably about 10-15% of the player base. So please explain again how its accessible to everyone?
Yes, online survey tools and apps give you free iTunes credits or Google play credits. It takes time to do the surveys and get enough credits to redeem for value, but it eliminates the need for using real money or a credit card.
I simply refuse to believe that there is NO WAY to get money, whether real money or earned through some virtual rewards, onto a Google account. Google is a global company that deals with developers that are trying to make money. For them to make it impossible to add some form of currency would be counterproductive to their entire business model.
It's called children with parents who won't let them spend on games. It's probably 35% of the player base. So yeah it's clearly impossible that could be a scenario I agree. We won't hit the goal so we don't have to worry about it anymore. There won't be an offer. Their 1 million goal was basically what they averaged per year in 3 years and they wanted it in 20 days. Never going to happen so looks like we won't get the offer.
So your response is I'm sorry you feel left out but too bad, well that too bad probably goes to about 200,000 people that can like this on facebook. So now that too bad looks like too bad for you that you won't get the offer due to poor marketing.

Please stop throwing around numbers without any facts to back it up. You lose credibility.
Through out this thread you have argued that this whole thing is bad marketing...and I have no problem conceding that point to you as I do not have any background in marketing. But the only time I would be concerned about the quality of Kabam's marketing would be if they were using illegal marketing tactics....otherwise I really do not care.
But I have to ask, as you have passionately have argued about the accessibility of the $1 dollar crystal....if you truly believe this:
For a million likes we better get a 5*, what the heck is the point of getting a soon to be obsolete 4* with 6*s coming lol.
Then wouldn't the lack of accessibility of this offer actually be protecting the people that cannot purchase it from wasting their money? It just seems strange that you mocked what $1 will get you, then proceeded to argue that it is unfair that there are people who cannot take advantage of the deal.

How does it sound silly, you can look up mobile game statistics and age range of players and percentages. Why don't you look it up and do some research and then come back and then comment otherwise you just lose all credibility.

How did I mock what $1 would get you? I said the marketing has alienated a much needed player base to like the page so we could achieve the goal. Try to keep up.

Oh you mean 6*s aren't coming out and 5* won't be more plentiful and 4*s will be the new 3*s.....oh yeah I'm totally off on that lol.
Comments
Is it accessible to people without access to a credit card? Pretty sure its not so its NOT accessible to everyone. On a side note theres 0% chance we hit that mark lol.
Kabam is doing the same thing, in reverse and want to hit a number first . No issue with that.
Probably OT but how many of you have run through your entire 2* roster since the announcement just to see how many points a round makes?
Are you stupid like me and plan to invest in ranking/levelling all those crappy 2* currently sitting on 1/10?
I'm not a complete idiot, I'll wait until the event arrives to see what the AI looks like.
Everyone that pays a dollar. Meaning you don't have to have a Facebook Accout and/or Like their Page to benefit if goal is met. There are 3100 Units available if you pay about $100 USD. Does that mean it's unfair to those who don't spend as well?
No it sounds like it's actually a 4* crystal with the champs that we vote on. @Draco2199 anyone who has access to the game can find a way to get the $1 offer if they really want to and if they don't it's a 4*. Not sure why you've made this a thing lol.
This is simple not true lol.
If you are 13 and don't have a credit card and your parents won't let you use theirs....is it accessible to them? Cuz thats probably about 10-15% of the player base. So please explain again how its accessible to everyone?
I'm sorry I just don't agree with you at all here. My perspective is that this is a community goal that we are rewarded for. They are tasking us with something and in return we get something for it. It's pretty easy.

That's not the problem. I can't spend because there is no way for me to get any money in the game. That's a problem that the majority of free2play players have.
Surveys doesn't work, credit card or asking the parents doesn't work, giftcards is not an answer too.
