[MERGED] Parry Issue Fix

I think I’ve identified the issue with Parry. It seems it was a delayed reaction with the Ebony Maw buff, where he’s still subpar. I think another buff would fix the issue 🤓

For a while it was mostly tolerable, but it started affecting AQ and more recently AW. I have no confidence in my skills and almost want to quit alliances until it's fixed. C'mon Kabam, half a year with no fix is a long time.

I installed the latest update and it appears the parry issue is worse. Sigh. It's happening almost every fight now lol. The ai recovery speed is still boosted too. I mean I just got hit with a 10 hit combo because I couldn't move before they began the next 5 hits began lol and I only got hit because of a failed parry

I am seeing new posts about parry and dex issues getting closed quickly and referring them to the announcement about this issue. But that announcement is from September 2021. Surely there has been some progress since then. Sir tapslalot was a cool update. But is it really helping. How about an update to that September post so we the community can actually see some progress is being made.

Since I was redirected to this forum of 60 PAGES!!! Kabam when are we getting this fix. I am tired of dumping units to try to process. I hope this fix comes soon, this is absurd!

So kabam how can you honestly scroll these posts, delete as you wish and remain silent ignoring your players in one of the most serious of issues the game has faced?

In our last update which was at least three to four months ago, you gave use a time line, in which it stated that the issue will be fixed by early 2022. It’s now January going into February. I just want to know if they’re is any update till when this is going to be fixed and will we get another major compensation package. Since the last one was in august end.

I don’t recall them saying ‘early 2022’. The post I saw was simply ‘in 2022’.

I even pointed this out. In they post I saw they were basically giving themselves a year and a half to fix it (well year and several months at least).

I believe this is why they haven’t responded with a more current update. They haven’t actually made any progress on the issue.

Quite frankly, I am skeptical they are actually going fix it.

As kabam has said early 2022 most people would class the 1st 3/4 months of a year as early.

But being a business they could refer to the financial year which means April is the start and gives them till July to still count as early 😭 I've got zero hope in anything anytime soon, the silence is dreadful and it seems to be getting worse.

I scraped through a war fight as HT with 100% health and prefight active yesterday, it lagged the entire fight.

I couldn't dex her at all and barely had control over my champ, just a 2FPS disaster 😑

So going by the update we're waiting till March till some folks are going to beta test it, well as long as there's no further issues till then, so we're talking April till we get a stable game rolled out? 10 months after the initial disastrous update.

that's insanity man, thank god we got that 5* and 6* that really offset the fact we're facing almost a year of terrible game performance, lost progression and very costly attempts at said progression, thousands of units wasted on what should be manageable with skill.

Basically lost a year on my account, totally wasted 😞

Will the update of march also patch the stupid IA's gameplay?

It's the worst eh?
This is my complaints about the ai.
-very very defensive.
-triggers heavy far too fast on a block (usually a failed parry)
-Doesn't bait very well.
-will sit in a corner and block till the second you try and heavy and it intercepts.
-manages to whiff your medium attacks very regularly with a little dodge however if you dodge they still land their hit and resulting combo.
-manages to block mid combo.
-almost always pulls off miraculous blocks after they've dropped an SP attack.
-almost always lands a combo on you following one of your SP attacks
-almost always manages to block SP attacks on the end of a combo

There's more but I just lost the willpower to go on

I have every single one of my complaints recorded and reviewed in 4x slow motion.

Yeah I mentioned baiting, you can get nothing for minutes till they reach sp3 and its dropped immediately.
