I've already reiterated the fact that these issues have been very specific, and ongoing, because of a change in their system. It's not Compensation for every input issue in general. The new system is in place at the moment, and open for people to opt out of if they choose. That doesn't mean there won't be other problems. It doesn't mean that it's adequate to keep compensating the same thing for different problems. As for the large Compensation, they said they will give one, and don't have a specific time on it yet. If you think you can change that by arguing with me, I don't know what else to tell you.
It's a new system with the same problems. There are no "other problems" or new ones, they re the same in a different system.
I have noticed a nrw issue after the defender launchs a special attack, if you rush in to punish them the first hit is like they are phased you hit thru them, then you cop a 3 or 4 hit combo, this is only recent and is really starting to get on my nerves

Cause and effect. There may be the same effects, or newer ones, but that doesn't mean it's necessarily related to the original issue.

We actually don't care about how the systems work, the terminology and all that stuff. Parry had problems before, parry have problems also today. The players/customers are not part of the game s development team, we started playing this for the final product.
Good morning, honestly, I have not yet seen an official information from you, where it is certified that the problems were solved, however I do see every day players complaining about new bugs in the game. I consider your position very cold and indifferent to the demand of so many players.

What specific issues were these? Where did you get this information?
You mention that the issues have been ongoing, and then proceed to say "it doesn't mean that it's adequate to keep compensating the same thing for different problems." Seems a bit contradictory.
The issue here is that compensation has stopped for ongoing problems.
I do find it very interesting that many have continued to experience a litany of issues and we have yet to hear any additional communication since the weekly compensation has stopped.
Has there been discussion about a revamped ongoing compensation in for the new issues that have presented themselves in addition to the big compensation package that is coming for the issues that were present over the last year?
I was facing Ikaris in EOP with Prof. X ..and suddenly middle of the match , heavy stopped working ..it was so freakin frustrating ...he whopped ma arse in 1 combo after that .
Controls are not fixed , if anything , they are worse than before . Literally worse . Idk how long you guys are gonna delay the complete fix and ruin the experience.. it's about to be a year now .
Controls are worse than before. Parry timing I can understand but now have more dropped inputs and charging heavy when I'm not touching the screen. Am on android.
The Input is not working at all and is making me and other players frustrated and are not only waiting for a fix but a compensation as well that was promised months ago.
Gotta ask about AQ pots, availability and cost. Even the once a run input drop costing positions gets costly minus comps. Has there been further consideration to the pricing models here
For everyone having issues, don’t forget to submit bug reports following the guidance posted.
“Greetings Summoners,
With the release of v35.0.1, we’ve moved to an Opt-Out system for our new Input System beta, and want to make it easier for you all to share experiences and Bug Reports directly with our team.
As we mentioned before, we expected that with the new system, it could take a little while for players to get used to the new timing and that there would be some bugs and kinks to work out after the release. Changing the way the entire game receives inputs is not a small change, and there is some potential for knock-ons.
If you encounter any missed inputs, misread inputs, or other issues that you feel are related to the new input system, we ask that you fill out this form to share your experiences with us.
When filling out this form, please be as specific as possible and use separate submissions for separate issues. “All of the Above” might seem helpful in sharing your experiences, but it does not help us track down issues.
This info is shared directly with the team, and will help us continue to work on hotfixes and improvements on the new input system.
Thank you all for your time and dedication. We know that the experience is not where we want it to be right now, and your reports will help us to continue to find and address the bugs or problems that may have arose with the new system.“
Our alliance leader of 6 years is quitting game because of bugs. Champs randomly dashing, pause game and then champ is suddenly holding heavy, random dashes, no parries. The game is broken and it’s going to cause it’s death.
This is very frustrating. I don't want compensation per se, I want the game to be working properly and registering inputs correctly.
Today has been a real struggle. Playing AQ has been so frustrating, nearly all the fights have had dropped inputs when I tried to block, parry, or dex, which results in most of the fights being an instant KO. I'm not claiming to be anywhere near the best player of the game, but I've been playing since near the start of the games inception and would say I have a good skill set and play style. But this issue makes all of that irrelevant if when you're pressing the screen it doesn't do anything.
Add in to the mix the fact that Kabam seem to think this issue is solved, have taken away any weekly potions to help with the problem, and have kicked out a new input system which quite frankly has made absolutely no difference to me personally.
I genuinely rue to the day I decided to download the game, which led to my addiction! lol And to be honest no matter what type of compensation package is given in the near future as a final it's fixed gesture, if the input controls stay as they are I'm not sure I'll continue playing.
We can argue until the cows come home but the evidence is there. They always consider Comp after the fact, and they said they don't have specific information on when that will be. So we're going to have to wait. Not sure why all of a sudden this should be any different of a case other than lack of patience.
If Kabam thought the game was fixed but did not have the “everything’s fixed, here’s the big thank you for playing a broken game for 10 months compensation package” ready, they should have continued to the weekly one until it was. Back the matter of the actual thread, the problems still exist so the weekly compensation shouldn’t have stopped. If the problems are at our end because we need to get used to the new way of playing, the weekly compensation shouldn’t have been stopped until we are used to it.
I'm interested in what people think is meant by the player getting used to the new system? For me, and I don't see any other definition which is why I'm asking, I want the game to respond when I press the screen. What other way is there? Do we guess and hit the screen early when we think we're going to need to parry/block etc?
We seem to have conflicting ideas about whether things are "fixed" or not.
Clearly some aspects of the game / Kabam think things are fixed. The easiest example of this is how weekly compensation stopped (mysteriously exactly when that "premature game announcement" said they would... hmmm).
Other parts suggest they aren't fixed (which it seems like the player base seems to be on agreement with).
AW season is less than a week away. Even though Loyalty rewards are going to go up, they didn't go up in the off season, so it will take some time for players to have a few wars to be able to actually build any meaningful inventory of items on the off chance they have a bad war and need to recover a lot of health after several fights, and ... no dying so you can get cheap health off the new revives is not an option if you want to actually treat war like a competitive mode where the rewards and mode matter.
So which is it? Are things fixed, or not? If not, are is there consensus as to whether it is at least better (and worth keeping the current "patch" in, or revert it back, and keep working on it?
And if it isn't fixed, when will the weekly compensation resume, and if it is... then shouldn't that large compensation package be coming? Does anyone actually believe Kabam hasn't already figured out how much its going to be / could basically hit the button within a day's notice? Does anyone think that if it lingers another 4 weeks that magically that package will get bigger at this point?
If you believe that... then maybe you actually be that "premature announcement" bit, then maybe you can also provide my fairy prince your bank account information so he can send you part of his new inheritance that he is so desperately trying to give out to people in these trying times.
I have seen this issue as well. In map 5 AQ it takes a full minute to bait specials, game says I parried but the defender isn’t stunned, AI is now special intercepting, and evidently the new “parry timer” is somewhere at the beginning of their dash. This game isn’t fixed. Luckily I have explored Act 7 so all I really do is EQ, AQ, and some arenas. Which surprisingly, arenas work fine. But stopping compensation when the game CLEARLY isn’t fixed, or even if it is fixed and players “need to adjust” compensation should run through a set “adjustment period”.
I’m working through some of the Carina’s challenges and it is super frustrating having to deal with these on-going issues. Every time I can’t dex, parry, launch a special, and/or can’t finish a five hit combo, I think back to the advice of @Kabam Miike to not complete hard content.
Almost a year later, that comment has not aged well. I’ve wasted so many resources in the last year, obviously it was my choice to continue to play despite the issues but I wish there was some way to recompense just the items I’ve used in the moments the game failed to work properly.
At one point @Kabam Miike did mention something along the lines of we would be returned any items we used because of the input bug, but after several months I have not seen/heard anyone even mentioning that statement. At the time it seemed like a pipe dream, but that was what kept me going. How foolish of me? It was that comment that started my exploration of variants. So happy I did it, but I used way more resources that would have been necessary had there not been a litany of bugs impacting the input system.
Honestly, who cares about compensations. Can everyone just stop saying that word as it means that you care more about getting free compensation for a bug then having the bug fixed.

i would rather have the bugs fixed than the compensation any day. but clearly the bugs aren't getting fixed
Hoping we get back to trying to fix the game. It was so bad it prompted me to come to the forum for the first time in years. I’m finding the game is worse it has ever been, dex off, parry off, and now I keep getting these freezing bouts in the middle of fights, it will freeze for two seconds and then kinda pick up where I would be in the fight if it was not frozen. Also I keep getting parried when I hit someone’s block, (no auto block or reparry.).
My last post was a bit defamatory so can understand why it was deleted. I’ve put in a bug report and turned the beta off. The game has felt progressively worse and today just became unplayable. The fix hasn’t fixed input issues for me. So I don’t know what the resolution is. Kabam says it’s fixed and a cohort of the player base say it isn’t.

@Kabam Miike , Please correct me if I am wrong.
Has Kabam officially declared the input issues resolved or are these issues continuing to be addressed?
