Potential Delay to v44.1 Launch
We are currently working through some issues that may affect the release window of v44.1. This means that the update may not release on Monday as it usually does. We are working to resolve the issue holding us up as quickly as possible, but will keep you all updated, especially if the delay results in any changes to the content release schedule.

Transparency is the cornerstone of trust.
This coming from a place colored by a bit of healthy critical mind and hopeful curiosity. In other words, for people like me, how much stock can I put in your words.
In all seriousness, I am not connected to Kabam's inner structure per se. I have tried to cultivate a relationship with the developers and mods, to varying degrees of success, and over time that has given me some access to the developers on par with the access that members of the CCP have. But independently from that, I've spent a long time in and around game development, and I at least speak the language. This allows me to ask questions the devs feel safe answering, and converse about topics they feel comfortable discussing, because I'm asking those questions from a perspective at least familiar to their own.
My biggest advantage, though, is I try to treat them like people first, professionals second, and annoying creators of broken stuff third. Over the long run, you'd be surprised how far this can take you, and not just here.
This is extremely disappointing to see, 0 steps taken is seriously just a joke. Delay the rewards by however long is needed.
Seriously deflated from seeing nothing done after the plethora of modders reported via the report button, through members of the CCP and submitting tickets. None of which have done anything.
And to clarify, it's not just the cheap 5 second kill modders that need to be permanently banned, it's others that still sneak in 30 second kills in ways experienced battleground players know it's not possible (even the average battleground player raises eyebrows too). There's guys doing this playing with gigantic accounts in high level alliances that need to be banned permanently to strengthen the integrity of fair play in the pvp space of this game.
Nobody with a 300 K hero rating is beating six star rank for champions in 10 seconds. Not hard to identify.
The disappointing thing to me is that I made it to gladiator 4 on my main account. Was happy and having a blast.
Next thing I know, 75% of matches were with modders. Sucked all the fun out of the mode.
Ended up dropping into the back half of gladiator 5 and got legit matches half of the time.
By the last meta, I was hanging around gladiator 5&6 and would usually get legit matches.
Why would I want to play this mode when the better I do, the less amount of fun I have?
Source....not sauce.
is better than this guy:
Everyone will just have to decide for themselves which one is the superior champion, without any statement from me on the matter.
Boy oh boy silly me 🙃
When we pointed this out on the forums after the Beta the threads were closed and posts were deleted. I expected the same to happen again for the first season...and well you all did not disappoint. Exact same thing. I'm sure after the "corrections" are done there will be a lot of complaints about how few bans were done and the response will be the same "we can't talk about how many were banned" nonsense.
It's really infuriating and ruining the best game mode.
1: keeping the permanent bans, and removing the resources from ones who got temporary bans
2: gives out what players "should have got" in rank rewards to players who would have got them if the banned accounts weren't in the leader board
3: gives out energy and some trophies to anyone who played and lost to one of these accounts (per time they fought)...
then all would be good for this round. It really doesn't matter if a perma-ban account has unlimited resources if no-one can use it.
Hopefully this is done, and lessons can be learned to use the full off-season week to get it right going forward (this was after all the first "non-beta" time, and I believe 2nd time doing rank rewards.
