I don't care. What else is new? I don't see the problem with the energy. It's just weird you're just now having the issue. Not when the Livestream happened and not when the info dropped.
So why now? It wasn't a secret.
Hmmmm maybe because the previous EOP didn't require you to fight the boss thirty times til you actually got used to the fight and we all thought this would be the same as last EOP only more challenging but not full of bs nodes similar to how Necropolis was more challenging but not full of bs like Abyss? Having to repeat the fight thirty times when the energy cost is 10 per try is absurd. Come on, I know you're smarter than this, don't ask questions like that one.
That's a poor argument honestly. So 5 is ok if it's not hard but it's not ok if it is hard. I don't know why you think that's the safe argument. I'm not sure why anyone thought it would be like EOP. I thought he was pretty clear in his statement that it was much harder this time.
I'm not sure anyone is repeating 30 times. At that point, just throw some revives and get it down.
Again, with the other issues I feel are more glaring with the fight, I don't know why this is one. But again, I'm drowning in refills.
We won't see eye to eye on this, and it's fine. Maybe they reduce it maybe they won't. I'm fine either way.
You can't revive farm anymore. What are you doing with all the energy refills you get?
Wait are you actually defending the energy thing? I know you take pride in being the #1 mascot for all decisions made by the team, but this is a new low. Even for you. Do better.
The fact that even GroundedWisdom (please don't take offense to this if you read it mate lol) agreed that the energy cost is an issue... Yeah, definitely a new low for Demonzfyre, I'm actually surprised.
Kudos to you sir for bringing this up, that is exactly what came to my mind as well but I didn’t want to make Grounded feel bad so I restrained. But if anything this shows that he never really had bad intentions from the start, so I give him credit for that, whereas Demonzfyre just advocates for whichever side of the argument that will hurt the playerbase more with nefarious intentions in mind.
Don't you have some titan crystal pulls to complain about?

Have you even done the fight? Are you even Valiant? I know you like to whale out but that doesn’t necessarily give you the skills needed to be able to do anything that isnt Story mode.
I assume you didnt even bother doing the fight but signed on forums just to find more players to attack on here for speaking their minds out on issues with the fight. Its crazy how you can dedicate your time to making that a part time hobby.

Of course that is the argument, there's a difference between having to do the fight ten times vs thirty. Have you any idea how many hours in total thirty tries means? How many energy refills?
Right but there's a difference between harder and bs. When they created Necropolis they made it very clear they wanted to stay away from bs (like Abyss) and take the game in a different direction (challenging but fun). These nodes along with the tag restrictions are in fact bs.
Not sure? KT1 sat there for nearly two hours straight. If a player like him has to sit there for 1:40, how much time and how many tries do you think it will take other Endgame players who aren't as skilled as him? The guy was a former merc (no shade intended) that alone speaks about his skills, and it took him almost two hours lol.
The argument that "I'm drowning in refills" is simply not valid cause not everyone is drowning in refills too.

I didn't meant it as a bad thing either, I agree with everything you said. It shows he truly does care about the game's health after all, some of his opinions may have been extremely unpopular but it's clear he wasn't saying what he was saying just for the sake of agreeing with Kabam, and that's a good thing.

Even if this was true, theres nothing he can possibly say that can out do you undermining the overtunedness of the fight and the 10 energy requirement. You’re pretty much the only one advocating for it being a fair fight. I know you take pride in holding the record for never disagreeing with Kabam but this is sadly just a new low, even for you. Again, you see what you want to see. I've already explained I have issues with the fight but you won't acknowledge it. That's fine. It's whatever.
But woh this is the pettiest the company have been.
If you ever wonder why the players base have a negative view of Kabam, well this would be one fine example.
I actually know precisely why the energy costs are what they are, but the problem is there's clearly no real opportunity to discuss them rationally, specifically because of this attitude.
I was one of the players who praised both SoP and EoP for being content that was engaging specifically because of the structure of the content. One fight, lots of opportunity to practice, see if you can beat it. To me, that's interesting. There's still difficulty involved, there's still skill involved, and there's even still spending involved to keep the lights on if you couldn't do it in a solo or a couple revives. In fact, I argued that a player might be more inclined to spend on one fight, if they thought they still had a decent shot at the other fights. If the very first one seems impossible, there's literally no point in spending a ton on it only to have to do that again.
I said all of that back then, and I still believe it now, and because of that I feel the energy costs for WoW are higher than I think would be best. The designers feel differently, and they have their reasons which are not unreasonable. They want the content to be something a player can't just do over and over again until they get lucky - which is actually a complaint I made about the early Act 7.1 beta. They don't want the fight to be something that you can just memorize a rhythm after a hundred practice runs. They specifically want to reward players who can learn a fight under fire, whereas low to zero energy costs disincentivize that in favor of restarting until you get the perfect run. There are other reasons, because design is complicated, but they are all reasonable in and of themselves. The question is whether those priorities should override others which I think are equally valid.
I think there's a valid debate to be had over whether WoW goes to far in one direction, at the expense of removing something valuable about the prior two iterations. But I look at the tenor of the complaints about WoW, and the odds of having such a discussion seem to me to be practically nonexistent.
If you want to argue that Kabam is greedy and petty, go ahead. There's only two possibilities. One: you're right, and they will ignore you completely, because that's what greedy petty people do. Two: you're wrong, and they will ignore you completely because that's what people who aren't greedy and petty do when they are accused of being greedy and petty. Both of those lines of discussion lead to the same place. Nowhere.
Everything stops when we as community stop paying..i.e. no more spending .. we use what we get for free..zero dollar spent on this from now on..why should we waste our hard earned money..the content creators will do because they earn from this..
Just waiting for a response at this point. The reception of this event has been abysmal from everything I’ve seen. Hopefully they tone down everything because at this point I don’t see myself putting up with these boring fights for a whole year
This turned into a Demonzfyre vs Everyone thread real quick lmao
I don't care. What else is new? I don't see the problem with the energy. It's just weird you're just now having the issue. Not when the Livestream happened and not when the info dropped.
So why now? It wasn't a secret.
If people had complained about this after the stream, before actually seeing the fight, I am sure you will be here asking everyone to calm down in the most polite way possible. You would have asked everyone to wait and see how the fight is before complaining. You will criticize others no matter what they do.
If you don't wanna do it you can pretend this doesn't exist lol.. After spending most of my revives in Necro, I might give this Winter Woe a miss. No Everest Content for time being can't afford to have another heart attack fight after Necro 😂😂😂😂

You don’t see a problem with the energy because you don’t log off the forums and play the game how could you you are here all day every day.
I will never understand why anyone finds this content even remotely fun.
I liked eop. But this is way more painful and more restrictive and for no good reason
Btw I’m pretty sure this is a top Celestial level BGs player and the fact even they’re complaining as well just speaks volumes to how nonsensically these fights were designed, so I fail to see how even Demonzfyre can be on board with the intensive energy costs

What a weird false dichotomy.
How about Option 3: Kabam realize they overstepped the line on how greedy they can get away with and dial it back to address the backlash? You know.. the sensible, adult response when people realize they've made a mistake?
What else we can do. It is kabam. They come up with the 5 energy per node idea. Weather the community is happy or sad. They don't care.
I am just spending full energy for practice and then throw my revive which is already in stash to get this over with.
Please guys Applaud for Kevin he smartly designed this quest. Fight is really fun if you enjoy it and throw revives complete the objectives. That's what kabam wants us to do.

You don’t see a problem with the energy because you don’t log off the forums and play the game how could you you are here all day every day.
Are you dyslexic? I said I see the problem with the energy you donut 💀
They don't want the fight to be something that you can just memorize a rhythm after a hundred practice runs. They specifically want to reward players who can learn a fight under fire, whereas low to zero energy costs disincentivize that in favor of restarting until you get the perfect run.
Then they failed miserably. This fight is basically Doing the fight with She hulk (which is the most viable option right now)
1. Get him to an SP1, bait, heavy, standup intercept in the corner 2. Repeat 1 until you have an SP2 to drop 3. Drop the SP2 and start with step 1 again.
That's it, that's the fight. Hope the AI works with you on the intercepts because if you get hit, you're probably dead.
Restart and hope you have a better run next time which is pretty much identical to "restarting until you get the perfect run"

First off yes, I am dyslexic. Secondly, I apologize if I was not clear, I was agreeing with you my comment was for Demonfrye’s

I assume you didnt even bother doing the fight but signed on forums just to find more players to attack on here for speaking their minds out on issues with the fight. Its crazy how you can dedicate your time to making that a part time hobby. So not bothering to deny it but making a desperate attempt to change the subject? Guess the truth hurts
What's really disturbing is that he agrees with you and all the sudden in your eyes, "he's not that bad of a guy".
No matter how badly you've treated him, he's never got to the levels either of you have towards him. He keeps his composure while everyone around him dog piles but this one thing is enough for you to say he's never had bad intentions. Let's see how long that lasts the next time he says something you don't agree with. Shame on both of you.
Never seen you disagree with anything Kabam does personally.
What level? I haven't argued with you in months lol interesting that this is the comment you decided to reply to.
And don't worry, I'll be responding to the other comment. This one was more important.
Nowhere.
You will criticize others no matter what they do.
A whole year of this + a gauntlet style event with all these bosses? With revive farming nerfed and energy costs jacked? lol… hard pass.
That's exactly what this fight was!!!! I watched kt1 do the same thing over an hour with she hulk and he still couldn't get it done!
After spending most of my revives in Necro, I might give this Winter Woe a miss.
No Everest Content for time being can't afford to have another heart attack fight after Necro 😂😂😂😂
How about Option 3: Kabam realize they overstepped the line on how greedy they can get away with and dial it back to address the backlash? You know.. the sensible, adult response when people realize they've made a mistake?
I am just spending full energy for practice and then throw my revive which is already in stash to get this over with.
Please guys Applaud for Kevin he smartly designed this quest. Fight is really fun if you enjoy it and throw revives complete the objectives. That's what kabam wants us to do.
